Great location, love that it has a drive-through! Friendly employees and fast service!

5 cars in the drive through so I walked in, all 5 cars plus 3 more got their coffee before me with 7 employees behind the counter.

Very nice inside to work and hang out. Stopped in a few times before but first time recently working from here. Did not appreciate the nice environment before as my granddaughter and I would sit outside enjoying our drinks. Inside and Outside are diversely opposed. The parking lot and exterior needs updates for sure. That is not the business's control. The Chase bank next door has the same issue. The interior is like most of the better location with bright colors, welcoming feel, nice seating, and pleasant staff. Working inside for a few hours enjoyed the experience. I am currently sipping my fall go-to as I type out this 5 star review, an Iced Chai Latte with Pumpkin Spice my boyfriend was sweet enough to surprise me with when he came home! Went in side star bucks on Madison av #9437.) and the guy was making a cold Matcha tea for customer at the drive-through and he said he doesn't like taking all the foam off of it and I said it's all about the way you pour really and then top it off with milk and I said when you do that, it takes the flavor away from the drink. And he said I don't really care. I'm not the one dridrinking it and I was thinking wow I'm glad he didn't make my drink. Been coming to Starbucks for 30 yr. Only posting a review here since I haven't yet seen this employees name tag, but there is a woman working on 6/8/2024 and the occurrence happened at 10:40 am. This woman has been rude to my mother now TWICE and the manager did hear how she responded to her asking for the tea to be remade since it was brewed too lightly. Working in CUSTOMER SERVICE, this is UNCALLED for. At $5 each, buying multiples PER day, asking for the tea to be made correctly (which is rare cause this location always has the best tea) should not be an issue. Between me and my mom, we are in here every day. The employees know us except for this individual. I would appreciate it if management higher up would look into this. On 8/19/20 I randomly went to Starbucks and I always look at their cups. I found a black iridescent studded veinti cup- there were 6 or so, and I loved it so I took it to the register. Barista took my order then she saw my cup and said "I can't sell that to you". I inquired further and she said they don't launch till 8/25. I was so confused, so I asked why they had them all out there. She had no idea what I was talking about, she went over and looked and pulled them all right away. The whole transaction was awkward and rude. Another girl told me to come back when they open on 8/25. We'll on 8/25 my newborn had me up so I went there a 5:25, they unblocked the door at 5:30 I was the first person in. I didn't see any cups. So I kindly asked. The barista said "we never got any" I was annoyed for being lied to so I explained what happened on 8/21. You did get them. She asked if I requested one to be held? I said yes, but the barista refused. She said I don't know what to tell you- we sold them all. Soooo you went from not having them, to indication that you're probably holding them, to "we sold them". So I go on Facebook and I see a friend posting about hunting for this cup. I messaged her and she told me All about the cup drama and the launch day drama. Mind blown. I just happened upon the cup- I happened to be up- I was excited to buy it since I got back to work from maternity leave next Monday and I thought it could be something small to make the day better at my desk. I have been to Starbucks multiple times and all have been great! I do wanna say that my drink has been messed up plenty of times, I asked for two drinks (dofferent drinks) and one iced and one hot, I was served both iced. I told her what was wrong and she basically pressured me to taking the drink telling me that I could keep it. She even asked my daughter if she wanted the drink. She said, "Oh sorry, do you still want the drink? It's free, Do you want it" over and over until I had to say no about 4 times and my daughter said no so counting that as five times. read more

Though I have not gotten the time to remember the staff member's names they always provide above the bar customer service and have a nice calm and professional environment to work in. I've been coming to Starbucks non stop for the past 3 months. I do enjoy visiting this location specifically, we've had great experiences especially when my uncle brought his dog everybody is always in a great mood. BUT TODAY SPECIFICALLY, I accidentally dropped my drink all over the floor and on my foot before work and that can really ruin your whole entire day and I was sad but this location helped bring my bad day back to happiness thank you KATIE , you're highly appreciated. read more

I can't believe it took me this long to write a review.... I wanted to treat myself and get a Very Berry Hibiscus drink. I ordered the largest size possible (I don't speak Starbucks) and the total came out to $4.45. I drove up to the window and gave the cashier 5 1's = $5.00. I wait a couple seconds and my drink is ready. The barista hands me my drink. I'm about to drive away when I remember that I need my receipt and change. So I asked for my receipt and with one hand gives me my receipt and with her other hand puts my change in the Tips container. At first I was confused and so I drove up to let the next person get their drink. I check my receipt $4.45. My change $0.00. No flipping way!! I shouldn't have to ask for my receipt AND change. 55 cents isn't going to force me to sell my gold teeth or sell my Beanie Baby collection, but it's the principle. read more

I have been going to this location for awhile and the girl named marina is extremely rude and I avoid this location because of her. She screams at you when you walk in the door " WELCOME IN" as if she's annoyed, and then ignores you as you stand there for your mobile order. I told her my name for mobile and she said "oh I don't do mobiles" . I go to Starbucks 1-2 times a day. I love that Jonathan got transferred to this store but now I avoid it again because marina will scream and hurt your head at 7am. read more

The crew here is amazing. I've watched them handle bad situations well, put up with people's sense of entitlement, and do it all professionally. It's obvious that the manager Matt cares about this store, his employees, and the brand. It's incredibly consistent when I go in. I don't know how they do it. 1. Starbucks man-child cannot understand my order. Not that he can't hear me, or that there is a language barrier. No, he just can't fathom the order I am placing. My husband likes a milk with four pumps of vanilla, with ice, no whip cream. The guy repeats this back like it's the weirdest thing he's heard in his illustrious career at Starbucks. That was supremely irritating. 2. I pull up to the drive through window and get the milk. He asks me three times if I want my receipt. Seriously. I said no each time, and each time he would say, "Wait... Did you say yes?" 3. He closed the window after giving me the milk and stood there in a little huddle with his two teenage coworkers. They were giggling and no one seemed to realize that I was not only still there, but that they had neglected to give me my iced coffee. Three minutes later the apparently brighter one of the three teens realizes I never got my full order. Drive-thru boy grabs the cup, thrusts it out of the window at me, and shuts the window again. No sorry for the wait, no thanks, no have a good one. Nothing. He just shut the window and turned around to continue his conversation. My first sip was overly-sweetened, watered down and melted iced coffee. FAIL. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks in general, but this particular location is great. Every time I go through the drive-through (love the drive-through!), the barista never fails to make me laugh out loud, no matter how early it is or how crabby I am. This morning, for example, after asking if I wanted anything to eat with my mocha, the barista asked if I've tried their new cupcakes. She spent a minute or so telling me how I should eat a cupcake sometime soon, even if it's not a Starbucks cupcake, just because they are so much fun to eat! She was seriously excited about cupcakes. Great coffee & very friendly staff (in the drive thru)! I usually go through the drive thru, but the line went to the street. I walked inside & walked back out under 5 mins. Yay! I like that they updated the decor inside & that the food is always being changed out. It can get VERY busy inside during peak hours, but I always get in & out rather quickly! I would have four starred because they do have a tendency to talk amongst each other instead of looking @ you when your ordering, but gave them an extra star because the drive thru is convenient (when not congested)! read more

Um starbucks...I mean we all know what they're like... Only bummer is that half the time my coffee is so beyond hot I can't drink it forever which sucks since I cannot function until I have some... Or its lukewarm. This was the case on monday. I ordered a tall blonde roast with cream while I was going through the drive thru. I had my pup with me and was worried about him spilling it so I asked for a capper thingy to put in the hole. We drove to the dog park (barely 2 miles away) and I figured OK it'll be perfect temp for when this car is no longer in motion and I can safely consume. I go to Starbucks at greenback and Madison every morning before work. Becky at the drive-through window is always so amazing, so friendly, so upbeat, accommodating and extremely positive. She took the time to inform me how I can save money through the Starbucks rewards due to the fact I go to Starbucks so often. Every business needs a Becky. Decided to go inside since the Drive thru was exponentially long today. Next time Ill just wait in u car. I come to this Starbucks almost everyday or at least 4/5 times a week. I went today on my birthday and for some reason it wasn't letting me scan my birthday reward for my free drink, and the girl at the drive through was zero help. I offered her my ID for prof that it's my birthday because it seemed like she didn't really believe me and instead of trying to find a solution or getting a manger for an override or something she just said you can call corporate and they MIGHT be able to do something. There was no guarantee then I'd actually be able to get my reward and she didn't nothing to try and help either did the other worker who was overhearing what was going on. I'm only giving two stars because the gentleman (can't rem his name) was awesome. The drinks however are always made disgustingly. I go to SB for the coffee, not sweetened milk with foam. I think some of the drink makers need training. This seems to be a problem with many people at this store. The SB in West Sac can teach your employees how to make the perfect drinks. read more

The service at this location is horrible. I spend about $200 or more per week at another location and had to use this one. I asked for a green tea refill and was refused. The company policy i was quoted changed multiple times. But I was basically told I had to drink it to get a refill. Otherwise I was basically stealing it. Then I took the 8 drinks to work. And headed right back to the store because the 3 cold brew tasted like a horrible chemical. With a huge attitude the 3 drinks were remade. By the way, this is when Karissa told me it didn't taste bad. Excuse me. How would you know. This visit I asked for the green tea refill. This time I was told its not allowed on mobile orders by Kayla. So a new story. And to get the refill I have to come in order the tea, stand outside to drink it and then come in for a refill. Maybe someone can let Karissa know the exact company policy and then share a Covid version and then share customer service etiquette to keep customers coming in. Everything i gave an example, I was told a different version of the policy. Maybe Starbucks needs to rethink such an inexpensive perk and where the hard line falls. It seems this is an inexpensive way to keep loyal customers coming in. Well not here. In Orangevale they make chemical tasing drinks and tell the customer their wrong while threatening them to be asked to leave. Be careful folks....don't complain about a bad drink or service.
