LISTEN, Literally go to this Starbucks ALL THE TIME, every weekend because it's the closest to my home. HOWEVER, TODAY WAS THE LAST STRAW. Between the long drive thru lines & wait, and them almost never having full inventory. Today 05/28/22 I pulled up to an empty drive thru @5:10-15 PM. I waited. Suddenly the cashier camera came on and an older women with short curly hair appeared on the screen. Not paying me any attention. I waited patiently. She goes away for a while a few minutes pass and she appears again and no one has came to the monitor. I honk just to get someone's attention and get again nothing. At this point I am getting upset because I know for a fact she saw me because she looked at the screen a few times. She appeared on the screen again this time drinking a drink and looked at the screen again and kind of hid to the corner of the screen but I already saw her. Someone else pulls up to the drive way behind me and we both wait. I honk again and nothing. This time I pull up to notify them we were at the drive thru. 3 employees inside and not 1 of them notified us that the location apparently decided to close at 4 PM today. 1 young Asian guy, 1 short white guy with long hair and hat, and an older white lady. All noticed us and NOT 1 OF THEM LET US KNOW IT WAS CLOSED. A SIMPLE " WE ARE CLOSED IM SORRY" would've been enough for me. Instead I waited around to the point I became upset. Totally could have been avoided. THIS LOCATION CLEARLY NEEDS TO DO BETTER BASED ON THEIR PREVIOUS REVIEWS. The GM needs to do better. Read your reviews and work on your business. read more

Finally checked out the new Starbucks today. Nitro cold brew was very good-- props to whoever made that. The cashier and drive thru girl were very chatty with each other. Meh. It wasn't so much that I was annoyed. But I can see them easily being that type of person that stands there having an entire conversation with each other while you are trying to order or pay. This Starbucks is a nice little walk from my house, so I'm hopeful that it can be a viable Dunkin Donuts replacement. read more

This place sucks. I wish I could put 0 stars. They don't listen to their customers. The Workers are rude, disrespectful and miserable. The place was completely empty. Made me wait 35 minutes for my order just for them to not get it right. Got yelled at by a male worker for trying to correct my order after waiting 15 minutes. I corrected my order 4 times within 30 minutes because they kept forgetting it. I do not recommend coming to this place. I got charged for 3 cake pops and the worker only gave me 2. (Even when I told him I bought 3 he ignored me and rolled his eyes.) I left the place with 5 dollars worth of things I paid for and never got. I ordered 2 frappuccinos, one green tea and one java chip, I got the java chip 1st, the green tea frappuccino didn't make until 30mins after, my java chip is already melted, I told them to make me another one, they kept on telling me that someone is making the green tea frappuccino, all the customers got their orders except mine, the service is ridiculous, I hope they hire more, it's a busy spot, but it's not an excuse for 30mins to make a frappuccino. read more

I live very close to this Starbucks & the service is so bad there that I pass this one every morning to go to another that is out of my way. The website says they open at 5, & while there are employees in there at 5, they wont answer the drive thru speaker or the door until six. Not only that, but they see you sitting in the drive thru and completely ignore you! They constantly get my order wrong & put more additives (cream, milk, etc.) than coffee itself. I love Starbucks coffee so it's disappointing that the one closest to me provides this type of service. read more

I love Starbucks but this has got to be the worst Starbucks I have ever been to, it really is a shame that it's the closest one to my house and being a mother of 2 and working full time sometimes this is the most convenient location for me to go to and it literally makes me cringe because I know my order is going to come out wrong. It wouldn't bother me that bad if I didn't pay almost $6 for 1 cup of coffee but for it to not be made the correct way just makes me livid. It cant be that hard to do and if it is then your at the wrong job I'd say, and I just want to add I am in the food service industry myself. I am a waitress and I deal with all kinds of people and situations all day and no matter what I keep a smile on my face , these kids at this location really need some training on how to smile and be friendly. I had an exceptional experience at this Starbucks Thanks to Noah! I went to get a cup of coffee because I just couldn't stomach any more of the other coffee chain coffee. When I get there there was a very long line for the drive-through. By the time I got close to the entrance of the drive-thru they had to close due to the local limitation. I saw Noah outside and I asked him if there was any chance of getting a cup of coffee. He saw my uniform and recognized that I am a nurse and asked how he can help. I advise him I would really like a cup of coffee before my 12-hour shift at the hospital. He asked me what I wanted and told me to park. Noah you Sir are a gentleman and scholar! Love the location and the high ceilings. Food and drink are great. The problem here is the wifi. Every time I've gone there I check the speed of the wifi and it consistently at .02 meg downloads. If you don't know it that speed is basically unusable. I've told the person in charge and been told that they've called about it and there is nothing anyone can do. I'm sure she has called but I doubt if there is nothing that can be done. They are using Google wifi and I'm sure Google wouldn't want the bad press so I'm throwing down the gauntlet! Some of the finest, hardest working people work here and they deserve all the love and praise for the effort that they put in. They are always willing to make sure you have the best experience while there (even if it's just a quick trip through the drive thru). If there is something incorrect about your order, don't be afraid to ask for help. I promise that they are approachable and more than willing to make the moment right, just be nice about it! They do get busy during their peak hours, which is to be expected for any Starbucks chain, so be mindful of when you go. The environment is inviting and friendly, and if you're a frequent visitor, they will remember you. If you need any suggestions, they love experimenting with different combos of syrups and drinks, so definitely ask for recommendations (I know Jason has the best ones). If you need to start your day off right, this is the place to go! I don't always visit, but when I do, I'm never disappointed and leave in a better mood not because I got my coffee, but because I get to see them. This Starbucks closes at 11pm every night so I drove 15 mins to go there to since that was the only one open this late. I went through their drive thru at 10:30pm. Which means they still had 30 mins to close. I pulled up and the person on the speaker straight up said "we are closed" And the person just took a order of the car in front of me. Went in today because the drive thru had a few cars. Shop was relatively empty with maybe 6 people inside. I ordered a Frappuccino and Iced Mango Dragon fruit lemonade. The cashier was quick and efficient I reloaded my Starbucks app quickly and paid. I recognized they were busy so I patiently waited on the side of the bar. When I realized 20 minutess had past since I ordered it was a little ridiculous. I asked for a refund after waiting so long. I was told my drinks were up next. The manager on duty told me he would credit me for one of my drinks and he was sorry they were understaffed but had 5 people working at the time?! Drive thru customers were being serviced quicker then the customers in store. I told him I wanted to be credited for both as I visit Starbucks daily and never have waited this long for my order. Since Starbucks has opened, I've been coming here at least 3 times a day. Which I would have given a 5 star review on. However, since Joe has started, I've been coming in less. Every time I pull up to the drive thru, he has an attitude when I ask him for things that were originally suppose to be with my order. Today I was late to work because the drive thru machine wasn't working and they were taking individual orders at the window. It took about 15 minutes and I could not back out so I could leave which left me annoyed. However I don't know how long their machine wasn't working but when I suggested putting tape around or something more bright and vivid saying the drive thru wasn't working then I would not have been 15 minutes late to work. Also one of the employees taking my order was very professional and nice then another employee came to the window and said "well we are suffering too" like I was just giving advice because I wasn't the only person wanting to leave the line and being stuck. This was the 3rd time I've been there and 2nd time using their drive thru. They make my coffee exactly how I like it and it's on route to where I work so I will continue to go there but I wasn't being nasty so I didn't appreciate it being thrown at me. read more

I stopped purchasing coffee between 7-9am. This brand new location is lovely but, don't let it go down hill. When ordering at the drive through I can't help but notice every time the counters' upkeep . To put it bluntly - its atrocious . Spilled milk , green , white powders are not being wiped up immediately . My friends and I refuse to buy our coffee in the a.m. we buy in the afternoon where they do cleanups and keep it clean during the shift. It's an inconvenience for us to buy coffee in the afternoon. So I want this place to be clean in the morning as well. Have the employees in the a.m. to do less talking and more cleaning. P. S. Mats are very well needed on the floors for employees and customers.The floors are very slippery and dangerous. What do you want a casualty? Do address these concerns ASAP. Words can not describe how much I dread going to this starbucks. It is the only one local in Edison NJ close to my job that is accessible on my lunch break. I don't think I have ever had a positive experience at this place. EVERY TIME I am at the drive thru I am never in line for less that 10 minutes. Then when I get to the window not only are my drinks not made yet but the guy who is working the drive thru ( ALWAYS the same guy with the tattoos - to annoyed to even ask his name) ASKS ME WHAT I ORDERED. Im never one to write reviews because I have worked a drive thru before and experienced the lunch break rushes, but this has not only happen 1 time, this is EVERY SINGLE TIME ( I even considered making a vlog about my trips to this place because of how ridiculous the experiences I have here are. Today really topped it off for me. On my lunch break ( I only have 30 minutes) I get there in 5 minutes and I sit in the drive thru for 15 minutes and finally get to the window, same guy working and he says my total was $4 and change ( not possible when I ordered 2 drinks) so I ask why is it so cheap and he reads me the wrong order, when I say that's not my order of course I get asked my favorite question.. WHAT DID YOU ORDER? When I told him he said oh okay and then types the order into the computer, I asked if it was even made yet and he said no. I request to cancel my order and he then wishes me a happy holiday. NO , not only is my cheerful holiday mood ruined but I wasted my entire lunch break in line at the stupid starbucks that I continue to go to every week ( I don't know why ), and I am now late for work and losing pay because of it. So next time the girls at work ask me to go on a starbucks run I WILL say no and go to Dunkin instead.
