I came in last week and waited a while for my drink. I noticed 5 other customers who came after me all got their drinks and left. I came over to ask what is the status of my order and it was half done and forgotten. I understand this happens so no big deal BUT the manager immediately noticed and offered a free drink for the next time I come in. I came in many times on other days and noticed that the manager is really amazing at how he cares for customer service at this location. I'm so impressed with how this place is well managed, all the employees are so welcoming and nice and most importantly my drinks are perfect! read more

I usually go to Starbucks because everyone's so nice, but I swear this Starbucks only hire douches. This time, I just left. Some of the staff are full of themselves and made me feel as if ordering something is a burden because they have to make the drinks and reclean their station. The Startbucks across in South Coast is much more attentive and much nicer, but one bug can ruin the pot of soup. I'd rather go to Coffee Bean by Saks or other specialty coffee shops. read more

I've never had such a bad experience at Starbucks. We mobile ordered at 2:13pm and didn't get our sandwiches until 2:44pm...I had to wait an extra 15+ minutes once I got there. I was in a hurry which is why I mobile ordered. I arrived with "see me" written on my 2 sandwich bags. It took me a good 2 minutes to finally get someone's attention and he told me "uhhh pick it 2 other sandwiches". I looked in the fridge to see that the sandwiches I ordered were in the fridge so I don't understand why they weren't ready...? The guy threw them next to the other guy who was heating things up. Halfway into him unwrapping my sandwich he got an order for croissants. So he stopped my order and started that one. Once he finished, he seemed to have forgotten about my sandwiches. I said as kindly as I could that I was waiting on those sandwiches. Because this took so long, the ice in our tea was completely melted and made that watery. I've never written a negative review about Starbucks before. Like pretty much everyone else, I go often, but I won't be returning to this one. read more

Probably the SLOWEST service of any Starbucks I've ever been to. I can place an order when I'm more than 15+ minutes away, stuck in 405 Traffic and by the time I arrive Amanda is STILL working on drinks in queue before mine. There is no sense of urgency in completing orders in the 4-7 minute window quoted on mobile orders. The craziest part is this isn't even a busy location! Ordered through the app one drink and one baked good item because i was in a hurry to get home. Ended up waiting IN STORE 10 minutes after the pickup time just for the food item. There was another girl who had actually been there before me in the same situation. She was waiting 10 minutes only to be told they didnt even have the item she ordered. Two people on the bar and three people on register one of whom just seemed to be talking to a friend the whole time. And no one could just put our food in the oven for a minute. I'm a general manager in food service so I understand how stuff gets forgotten but this was just ridiculous. After receiving my food (even though the other girl who should have been served first was still waiting!) I walked up to the register to say something but they didnt seem to care they just said they were training. I understand that but you cant just forget customers. Its not an excuse. Seems to defeat the point of ordering through the app just to stand and watch all the customers in line get their drinks and food before yours is even in the oven. Bad experience. I really enjoyed my experience at this store. The team member who took my order was very friendly. I paid with my Starbucks app and he noticed my Florida license. Engaging a conversation about basketball, which I thought was very kind. Really took it to another level. The drink came up and once I tasted the mocha, it was exactly what I ordered. Only knock I have on it, the drink tastes a bit chalky. To be honest, I think it was the chocolate the company uses. read more

This Starbucks is small and when it gets packed like it was when I was there, there is hardly any space to stand just to get your drink to go. What in the fucking iced coffee fuck. I go to Starbucks every day (sometimes twice) and order the same thing every time, rarely does it get messed up....because baristas are genius at their craft? No, it's because aside from black coffee, my drink is the most simple thing ever: iced coffee extra ice with a splash of soy...uh ok pour some chilled coffee on ice and add a splash of soy milk, don't address me...just hand it over, I'll get my own straw and I'll see you tomorrow. Anyway, so after trying two different Starbucks around 9pm this evening (Wednesday), and both of them being out of iced coffee (what?!), I finally ended up at this location (open till 11pm). To my delight, they had iced coffee still (thought it would be a no-brainer at a corporate giant of a coffee shop like Starbucks). The girl who took my order was super sweet and wrote the cup out correctly. Thanks girl. When the dude who made my drink was pouring the soy I kindly interrupted him after I watched him dump muchhhhh more than a splash in and asked, "that was just a splash of soy, right?" he gave me a sassy smile and said yeah only a splash the rest is ice and coffee....uh ok genius then why were there like 6 ice cubes total and my drink was completely...soy-colored? Sure enough, I get in the car, take a sip and its basically soy milk on ice....didn't taste even a "splash" (loose term I guess) of coffee. I was so irritated I just left and tried calling them to mouth off but lucky for them they didn't answer. I've worked for corporate food chains before, all da monkeys are trained to make CONSISTENT product. I have literally visited 50+ Starbucks locations and this is the only one I would never return to. I came to this Starbucks the day after Christmas. If was so cold out and super busy at Starbucks. I wish I got the name of the young man that was working because he was so awesome. He was friendly and patient with a smile on his face the whole time. I ordered the coffee cake and he asked if I wanted it warmed up. And yes they still exist. :) This place was ridiculously slow ordered a tall and the cup was half full and the other one eighth was foam. What the hell is that? Then on top on that they rinse the cup out and not just get a new one cuz they messed up?! Is that corporate standard? My husband and I recently visited this location after we went to The Container Store in the same shopping center. My husband wanted a decaf coffee and I decided to get a tea latte. Since it takes a little while for the decaf coffee to be brewed I ran over to the Marshall's while my husband waited for our drinks. He got the drinks and waited in the car for me to come back. When I got in the car and we drove away I took a drink of my latte and noticed that there was no classic syrup in it, even though I had asked for three pumps of classic and it was written on the outside of the cup. We drove to the end of the street and turned around to go back. I went inside and told the guy making drinks that I had asked for three pumps of classic, but there wasn't any in the drink. He takes the drink from me and says, "where did you get this, we didn't make this here. I guess I can put the classic in for you even though you didn't get it here." My mouth fell open. I said, yes, we got this here....15 minutes ago. He rolled his eyes and again said, "you didn't get this here." OMG....I have never had a barista say anything to me like that. What the hell? I should have asked for the manager, but I was so flabbergasted that I walked out and got in the car. My husband was very angry and wanted to go in to talk to them, but I told him to just drive away. Like I say before in my various trips to Starbucks, if they can get my caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espressor, upside down, extra caramel, and three pumps of classic in addition to the three pumps of vanilla, all with light ice, then they're a good Starbucks. The place is clean and nicely kept with a friendly staff. Then again, it's in Metro Pointe so you would expect a certain standard of quality from them and they deliver spot on. read more

I also go to the one in orange because it's next to work but when I'm not working I'm at metro pointe. Service here is always very quick and friendly here and always service with a smile. It's a young crew and it's always fun to joke around with them. I have never been disappointed. I got a free drink with my gold card and decided to use it to try something new. I've been here many times for about a year, but this is a general review for the night shift. I have to say lots of good memories were made here. People in the night shift are very nice and upbeat and always happy to see you. Everyone is really friendly, outgoing, and very young. They sure know how to joke around and have fun. Sometimes, they would offer you free stuff if they plan out to throw stuff that will expire in a week. It may sound gross, but it's still fresh as it is, and no I haven't gotten sick. If they mess up on your drink, they'll remake it and let you keep the wrong order as well. So, they do care and they do take the time to make things right for you if you're upset with anything. I haven't met anyone that gave me a difficult time or an unhappy experience. So, thanks for giving me a good experience! It's always nice coming back here from time to time. read more

I have been coming to this starbucks for a long time, mostly because it is close to my house and convenient enough to take off and hit the freeway afterwards. Admittedly I really only go to starbucks because there are so many of them. I prefer other coffee shops (just being honest). Most of the people that work here are friendly and they do remember my name and my drink which I definitely appreciate. But there have been occasions where it just didn't taste that great. I would like to rate higher because of some of the employees, but I feel that because of my few less than favorable experiences I can't. I'll still go here though :) read more

When I asked about it, they simply said, "It will be out in a few minutes." 3) Because of their inefficiency, the queue of people waiting for their drinks is so bad and everyone gets crammed into the back corner of the store. I usually like this Starbucks, and I decided to swing by before dinner since I haven't been here in a long time. It was 1/13 around 5:30pm I came in, and I saw 2 girls working there. These girls are problems. They were talking very loud that everyone could hear their whole conversation, and I heard a lot of swearing. This location is small and not convenient..Not much seating inside in fact they removed the seats by the only table inside...which is mainly a wheel chair accessible table...and the rest of the seats inside are on a long table that faces the window...about 6 seats...There is ample seating outdoors but that's not comfortable especially when you want to log online and need an outlet. read more

This is a pretty nice Starbucks conveniently located in this shopping center in Costa Mesa. It is a very small location with barely any seating inside, but with a decent sitting area outside. This is one of my favorite Starbucks in Orange County. It's small and there isn't much indoor seating (which can be a pain in the winter) but the staff is great and the drinks always come out right. If they do make a mistake they will fix it for you without giving any attitude. It's always clean too. It bothers me at some locations when the mixing station is a mess; you won't find that here. Even if it were though I would probably keep coming here because the barista is really pretty. Hopefully this review isn't too biased. read more

The staff is always very friendly! Although I don't come here as often as I would like to due to distance, whenever I do come here, this place never disappoints. Service is great, the wait for your drink is never long, and IMO they make the drinks better.
