Don't even bother using the mobile order app at this particular Starbucks, since you're going to end up waiting for that drink to be made anyway. The lemon loaf I ordered today came in its generic factory plastic sleeve, the employees not even bothering to take the cakes out of the shipping material they arrived in. It served as a reminder that everything sold at Starbucks is not fresh, but pressed out like license plates in a factory. Not that I ever truly believed any of the food WAS freshly made--I just enjoy the facade of it all. read more

I placed an order on my Starbucks app and for some reason it didn't save this location I punched in and when I went to pick up my mobile order the app had sent my order to the other Starbucks on alameda. Long story short, the nice lady and employees checked my app and made my drink in a couple mins which was very nice of them. Customer service at its best. read more

Usually I don't like to hop on Yelp but today called for it. So I went into order my normal cold brew at 9 AM mind you I completely respect the staff and their hard work ethic however there has to be a better system in place for mobile orders, if you have customers in line for a drink that they want now after upon ordering there should be specific employees in place to make customers that are waiting in line for drink, their drinks. I don't understand how somebody is able to order 14 drinks through one mobile order and your entire staff working on those 14 drinks there should be somebody working mobile orders ONLY specifically and somebody working orders that are being ordered inside the store ONLY. To wait almost 30 minutes for a cold brew was insane because i unfortunately came after that 14 mobile order! There needs to be a better system in place at the stores location for mobile orders. read more

This is by far the worse Starbucks I've ever been to. There's something wrong with the baristas working here, Here are 3 things that happened to me listed below. 1. Ordered on my mobile phone. Went to the pick up location to see if my drink is done. Stood there for 5-10mins without anyone asking me what do I need. I told them that I ordered on my mobile phone and they said oh our machine isn't working. Waited awhile before I got my drink. 2. Ordered a DECAF doppio. Got full caff. Was jittery all day and couldn't sleep that night. 3. Ordered a DECAF doppio on my mobile phone. Went to the cash register and made sure that the machine to print out was working. Reminded them that I ordered DECAF. The barista repeated and acknowledged that I got decaf. Got my drink and I asked again making sure that it was decaf and the barista said it wasn't and apologized. I was astounded and couldn't believe it. Don't think I will be back. Dear Starbucks. Please train your staff properly especially showing them to be able to read DECAF on the order! read more

This place is horrible for Mobil orders. They do not start on your Mobil order until about 8 minutes after you place the order. I thought maybe it was due to the high volume of customers but I found out that's not the case. I ordered one night when they were empty inside and I ordered while I was at the park. It took me about 8 minutes to walk there and the order still had not started my drink until I asked them. There was no one inside other than me. The drink is prepaid for. I am completely disgusted with the behavior and complete lack of professionalism at the staff and Manager. Specifically barista Identified as Nick L. and Manager at the time Travis K. (both working Sept. 1st - 12:00pm). I went in to and was third in line to order. It took TWENTY minutes before I was next to order as Nick continued to chat about weather bands and clothing with customers when he should be filling their orders quickly so that people do not need to wait. Brief conversation is understandable but just standing there having a conversation while not working is unacceptable. I place my order with Nick as follows: Me - A venti coffee, Banana Bread, and an Old Fashioned Donut, please. 1st TIME ORDERED Nick - Okay a venti coffee and, Donut that's (whatever price was). - ERROR ONE Me - Did you get the Banana Bread? Nick - Oh okay Banana Bread, (adds bread, removes donut?!) Me - No, it's supposed to be a Venti coffee, Banana Bread, and an Old Fashioned Donut. - 2ND TIME Nick - (stared at register for 30 seconds blankly) Okay, wait, Okay what do you want? - ERROR TWO Me - I said a venti coffee, Banana Bread, and an Old fashioned donut. - 3rd TIME ORDERED Nick - (staring at register) so you want a donut? Me - (now frustrated as he is clearly not listening) If you get a pen, I will write it down. Nick - I don't need it written down, what you want again. Me - repeating order for 4th time! Nick - OH we don't even have Banana Bread. Me - Fine then, a lemon loaf Nick - typing into register then says - Do you want your Morning bun warmed up? Me - What Morning bun?!?! I never said morning bun! Me - (Very Frustrated now). I ask the bar girl if she can help him because he clearly does not know what he is doing. She stares saying nothing. I say forget the food just get me the coffee. Nick - Do you have a problem, sir? (Sarcastically) Me - Yes, you keep messing up. Just get the coffee forget about the food. Nick - Telling me I don't have to get mad and goes to get coffee. He returns and holds it at eye level and says here you go. He did not place the coffee down and tell me my order price he held it aloft and said here you go. This gave me the impression I was being given the coffee free due to his multiple mistakes and inability to properly place an order. Once I had walked across the store to cream/sugar counter Nick L. yells - Sir, You need to pay for that. The entire store is now looking at what is going on as I am presented as trying to steal (completely humiliated in front of people I see every day at this location) I return to counter and very loudly so all onlookers can hear reply - I thought you were comping me the drink because you keep fucking up! Nick - now begins to rebut me that he isn't doing it. Me - I tell him this is not a hard job just listen to what people are ordering and pay attention Nick - He continues to talk back now lecturing me that it is a hard job and there is a lot to do. Me - I tell him it's not hard I order three things; type three things into the register just listen and pay attention. Nick - He again continues to talk back and tell me, Sorry you feel that way but It is a hard job. I am now furiously pissed off at his back talk and tell him it's not hard it's a kid's job and pay attention, stop chit chatting and stop talking back to me. I ask for manager's name at which point one of the girls brings the Manager (Travis K.) to counter. I am visibly shaking due to Nick's behavior. I tell him I want to talk with him demand my receipt from Nick and make my way away from counter to not hold up the line. Travis approaches me at side of store by cream/sugar counter. Me - I am very upset and say, - What that kids fucking problem. Why is he talking back to me? Travis - askes what happened Me - tell Travis the previous story Travis - continues to interrupt me and throughout the whole story saying he is just trying to help. Then tells me - sir you need to watch your language. Me - (furious!!!) he's not helping he is not listening and keeps back talking me and is wasting everyone's time in line just chit chatting Travis - (ROLLS HIS EYES) Sir - he is just enhancing the customer experience. If you want I'll refund the coffee Me - I am now so angry at both of them. Not once have I received an apology for being humiliated in front of store but I am being reprimanded by the manager and the employee that created the situation is being defended by someone who was not even there. How can he defend a situation he did not even see and I had to explain to him. Had he been doing HIS OWN job properly he would have been present for the entire situation. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks on my commute to work. I always do the mobile order to skip the long lines, but the staff always remember me and are so amazing. No matter how busy they get, they don't crack under pressure and keep an upbeat and positive attitude. I have been to this Starbucks many times and always have an amazing experience. The staff is friendly and they take pride in what they are serving. (Something you don't always see in a chain establishment.) I have personally been served by the young lady in glasses and find her delightful and engaging and someone who seems to make a genuine connection with her customers. What I find distasteful is seeing men here on YELP write a review that has nothing to do with service or beverage quality, but instead use it to personally bully and attack a female employee based on their opinion of her looks. Did she rebuff you? In which case I would say Bro get over it. If you can't provide honest reviews that help consumers make choices about patronizing an establishment then stick to using your facebook feed. read more

There are over half a dozen desks w/ plug-ins next to them, for those like myself who are constantly in need of a recharge. Parking is also plentiful since multiple stores are part of the larger shopping plaza. You may have to park a couple hundred feet away from the actual entrance, but let's face it - that exercise will come in handy if you're about to ingest a couple hundred calories too. read more

Inasmuch as I loathe Starshmucks for their burnt, overhyped and overpriced coffee, they always seem to have good people working behind the counters, and this place is no exception. They'll gladly make you a decaf other than Americano without a screeching record look at you, and although seating is limited in this locale, it's never too full that you couldn't find a seat. I would imagine however it would be due to its slightly inconvenient location and frustrating, hectic parking situation. But if it keeps people out somewhat and as a result less crowded, I'm all for it. read more

Super nice baristas, esp on a busy Memorial Day w/e. Very patient as we fumbled around with various methods of payment. Our drinks and food were all fab, fast and as ordered. FYI: Not much seating at this location: 1 bar = 4 bar chairs, 1 table + 4 chairs and approx 8 tables + 2 chairs each. Clean bathroom. Lots of food options. read more

This location is most convenient to where I live but every time I come here I get mediocre service. It's 11am and they're out of more than half the items in their case, then why display it? They aren't very engaging either. I did give them three stars because more importantly they are clean and move the line fast! It's a hit or miss location, and with so many other Starbucks around especially the one across the parking lot in the Pavilions they should pay more attention to their guests needs. read more

The only reason we come to this Starbucks is because it's within walking distance from my home. The service is always mediocre at it's best. Twice within 2 days they screwed up my order. Tuesday morning I ordered a cafe mocha. They completely forgot to add the ingredients that make it a cafe mocha. I damn near spit out the coffee while I was driving. It was completely plain coffee with nothing added. The outside of the cup has wc written on it. We went back Wednesday evening after a nearby school performance. Our order was pretty simple. We ordered 2 small caramel apple spice and a small peppermint mocha. The cashier didn't know what the apple spice drink is and a coworker had to show him how to ring us up. He then proceeds to write the order in a cold drink cup and I informed him that the apple cider drink is a hot one. Before I was even able to pay he rudely states that they are going to be closing in 5 minutes. It was 9:20 at the time. Pretty rude. He didn't offer me my receipt, which I thought all business's must do. so I didn't double check my order. What a big mistake because they screwed my ginormous complicated order of 3 small drinks. I received a small and medium caramel apple spice and a small peppermint mocha coffee. Stupid me for assuming the 2 small drinks were the same and the larger was the coffee. My child 1 of the small drinks and realized it was coffee and not her apple cider. They didn't ask for my name but since I used the Starbucks ap to pay I figured they would retrieve my name from that like all the other Starbucks I've been to but nope, wrong again. My drinks were sitting on the counter and they didn't not call out my name so I was not aware of it. And the best part is the 2 employees acted like they couldn't care less about their jobs. This makes me wish there was a coffee bean close by instead. At least their employees are always consistently efficient and pleasant. read more

The staff isn't the happiest and you can tell they don't want to be there and I'm convinced their closing manager is too lazy to make sure they've made cold brew cold brew. I would say 4 out of every 5 times I go, they have never made cold brew to serve. read more
