It's not cool to laugh about your customers right in front them. So I'm a Starbucks regular, and I'll admit that I'm hooked on racking up those gold stars. My brother and I were driving back up north and we were both thirsty / we had run out of water. He NEVER goes to Starbucks, but I figured I'd use my app and we wouldn't have to use any more cash. Being a super hot day, we ordered 1 venti black tea lemonade, 1 cup of ice, and 1 cup of water while standing in line. Slightly quirky, but this is Starbucks and I'm certain they've had orders 100x crazier. When I reach the register, I'm asked to verify that I got 4 drinks. What? No. The young man taking the orders clarifies that I have a drink (he looks at me bc he forgets what it is maybe????) and 2 ice waters. I clarify that it is 1 cup of ice, and 1 cup of water. 4 drinks? No. Somehow, someone else's drink got thrown onto my tab/order/whatever. This was easy enough to clear up, and I go wait for my drink. Eventually, my tea shows up. We wait around to get someone's attention for the ice & water, and they had cancelled it because they thought we didn't want it. How did this many confusions occur within such a tiny area?? So the guy asks again if we want two ice water and we clarify, yet again. At this point, he heads back to joke with the young lady at the register about us. Super unprofessional, just give us the water, dude. read more

For a place that sells caffeine they couldn't be slower. The amount of simple orders that are too confusing for them to handle is amazing. Asking for 1 tea bag seems to be the most confusing thing for them to handle. I only go due to convenience but I kick myself every time cause I'm always reminded of why I should take the drive to any other location. read more

I agree with the yelpers on the morning crew. They are the best. As far as slow service, I disagree big time. You wanna see slow service, I dare you to go to the one on San Fernando by Sprouts in Burbank. I don't know why this location is even open. I waited in line for 45 mins for a doppio espresso, my usual. I then tried to order through the app. I ordered through the app 15 mins before arrival, went inside, waited for another 15 mins, then noticed that my ticket was printed with my name on it still sitting in the printer. After I told the barista that my ticket has been printed out for about 30 mins, then he apologized and made my espresso. Mia said.....how do I know you placed the order....maybe you are just coming in to get free coffee. Worst experience ever. I ordered ahead to pick up drinks for ladies in the office. Took forever to get the order and finally received it. It didn't look correct so I waited in line to ask. I LOVE this Starbucks! Ive been an avid customer for over 15 yrs and gone to many Starbucks. But none feel like home more than the Starbucks on Glenoaks and Keeler. There service is great! The morning shift is the best ever! They greet you by name as soon as you enter their doors. The manger Suzy of this store has it together in more ways then 1. She goes above and beyond for her customers. She serves your food to you right at your table, she has coloring papers for the kids to enjoy. And then she displays their art in the store. She has board games to play and books to read. So you can really feel like your at home enjoying your coffee. I see alot of complaints in here about service and long lines. My suggestion is if you want to be served by the best, try to come a little earlier than usual. Good location on a Main Street. There isn't any Starbucks up Glenoaks going to Sunland besides this one. Service good most of the times. Newly remodeled so its a nice spot if you are trying to get some studying or some laptop work done. Baristas here are hit and miss. I always order the same drink and twice the barista gave me so much ice that I couldn't end my put a straw in the cup. The employee named Jesse is rude, has no manners and no respect for the establishment he works for or it's clients. Once I pulled up to the drive thru intercom I wasn't even greeted, but was asked to put out my cigarette or leave. I was actually getting ready to put out my cigarette while I was pulling up but then I heard Jesse's 2 options; PUT OUT YOUR CIGARETTE OR LEAVE. Instead of being greeted I was given an option to leave and since I dont put my money where it's not appreciated, I continued enjoying my cigarette and took on Jesse's 2nd offer and left. Yes, sometimes I wait 25 minutes in that drive thru lane to get my coffee, but today I'll just save my $3.17 and make my own coffee at home. Wow, you can see me through surveilance cameras? You're so cool Jesse! Good for you! I was smoking in my car and there were no other cars in the drive thru lane at 11:45pm. My smoke could not have magically reached Jesse nor anyone inside Starbucks through their drive thru intercom. You can even smoke inside Starbucks in many states. I was just at the Starbucks on Glenoaks and Keeler, and have had the worst experience at a Starbucks I've ever had. After waiting 25 minutes to get iced tea ordered on a mobile order, and the barista working seemed to care less how many people were waiting as long as they were as he chatted away with co-workers, I asked one of the cashiers (who was not busy and was writing notes down) to cancel the order. She was extremely rude and told me to get in line. I asked why I needed to wait in line after waiting to not get the drinks I ordered. She sighed and then attempted to, then said she couldn't because I didn't have a Starbucks card. I advised again, I ordered on the app. I waited at least another 5+ minutes for the same unpleasant person to make iced tea, who did not make them as I ordered, and took the 3 drinks I ordered and slammed them on the counter. When I asked that they be made as I ordered them, she threw her hands in the air, let out a big sigh and then walked away...what service! Nearly 4 years after my last review, I've decided that this Starbucks has come a long way. Therefore, it's time for an updated review to highlight how great of a location this has become! Although I no longer live in the area, my friends and family still do. As a result, I find myself here quite often knocking out work during the day while in town. The staff is quick, attentive and honestly, has made this location now my favorite in Burbank. In fact, April -- one of the sweetest baristas ever -- still remembers my name and drink nearly a year after I moved!
