I am 9 months pregnant and politely asked the barista to fill my water. She questioned me on whether or not I had made a purchase and told me I can't have water unless I buy something. Again... I'm 9 months pregnant, thirsty, and trying to stay hydrated for my baby. WTF. I was with a group and others made a purchase. (Sorry I can't have caffeine right now- and I don't want to buy a decaf coffee!) I have been a gold member since 2017 and literally have been going to Starbucks since I was in the womb. Note that this Starbucks location IS OPEN for TAKEOUT and DRIVE-THRU during COVID. If you do takeout here, order ahead online on the app. My mom and I came here for drive-thru after going for a walk in the Lake hills area. This was our first time having Starbucks since the virus outbreak. We came at around 2pm. The line had about 6 cars in it, but we were in and out in about 15 minutes. I ordered my usual grande Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew with light ice and half sweetened. My mom ordered a iced coffee with light ice, but the barista mistook her for no ice. So my mom ended up with a no-ice iced coffee, but oh well haha. The barista at the window was wearing a mask. The process was completely no contact; the barista didn't even handle our credit card. Instead, she stuck the card machine outside of the window for my mom to insert and remove her card. Then she handed us our drinks in a tray which she also stuck out the window. I love this location of starbucks. They recently remodeled and inside is much more modern looking. I usually stop by for drive thru and they are SO FRIENDLY! They seem like they are happy working here and I don't get bad vibe. Drive thru crew especially Rose is so king and she always so smily! Inside is cozy and usually very welcome feeling. read more

I often stop at this Starbucks in my way to work, and have on occasion done online ordering for treats and coffee for meetings. The location is convenient and I can always find parking. The staff is good and always has my order ready. For the to-go coffee they always pack all the necessary items including a cup of cold half & half. Updating my review that is a few years old. I've come in here about every month the past year to meet a friend that works nearby. It's a good place to meet with a lot of tables, free wifi and the staff is chill about us sitting there for 1-2 hours at a time whether we buy anything or not. The only thing is that they are still slow making drinks, even when they aren't busy, and they don't call out your name loudly enough to hear it if you're sitting so just stand next to where the pick up counter is. read more

This Starbucks needs some serious TLC. They don't have a great system to make drinks when we are dealing without a drive thru vs customers in the store. Peak hours you would think if they're setup with a double bar they would use that option. I normally only come through the drive thru before work around 5:50am ( because the drive thru after 6am is slammed). The last few weeks I had been walking into the store just to checkout the new holidays items,etc. The line outside was about 6-7 cars deep and no one in the store but me. I was shocked that it took 15 minutes to get my very simple iced tea. Good thing I didn't order food! It seems odd that all drive thru drinks were getting prioritized over people in the store. The store itself is nice to sit in when you have time. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and you see the regular groups of people that come hangout to use this location as their office or to just catch up with friends. This is the closest drive thru to me so I'm hopeful they get it sorted soon! read more

Stopped by this Starbucks to get some work done. The location is not great, but it is close to the Eastgate business park area so there was a constant stream of people stopping by to get their java fix. This is also one of the few Starbucks locations that has a drive-thru on the Eastside. This Starbucks shares parking with the Jack In The Box to the left. The building it is located in is two stories, but the shop takes up just the lower level. A little disappointed, because I was looking for a more secluded spot. There is also a fair size patio area outside. Inside there is a mix of seating including couches, regular and barstool tables and chairs. There is also a long studying type table on the far right. Typical Starbucks experience here. My default drink, grande latte ($3.35) was a-okay. But I was really here again to get work done and found this location to be so-so for that. The wi-fi connection was a bit slow, though that could have just been my VPN connection possibly. Since there are people constantly coming into this location, the noise level here is a bit on the high side. If you really need to concentrate, I would suggest sitting to the right side of the shop away from the coffee counter. Summing it up, this Starbucks is alright. It is a definitely needed place of respite for those working in the area. Though you might want to leave the work at your desk rather then take it here. read more

Hopeless Service. 1. Ordered a drink with couple of breakfast items. Hangry. 2. Got a drink and 1 item. Drink did not have whip cream even after I asked and was told it comes with it. Still Hangry. 3. Driving home, halfway realized they didn't give me the 2nd breakfast item. Drove back. Hangry still. 3. Get the 2nd item. They never heated it even though I asked them to. Came home and tried to heat it in the oven. The darn thing burnt. 4. customer with room temp coffee and left hungry. This is officially the beginning of my break up with Starbucks. The drive through can get quite hectic in the morning as there are a lot of corporations near by. The line can over flow and stick out a bit on the street, might be easier to just go inside if you have time. If this Starbucks were a cup of coffee, it would be the last drip cup of the day, the one that had been sitting on the warmer for hours promising someone something it could not deliver. But to be more direct, this place is filthy. It seems odd, since in the pandemic era, there should be less traffic not more, and more cleaning, not less. But I suspect Starbucks saw an opportunity for more profits and less cleaning. Perhaps leave your glasses at home so you can't see the dirt, dust, and (yes) human hair. Or perhaps the drive through is the better bet (at least you know how dirty your car is). Or perhaps just go elsewhere. read more

The drive-through of the hardest working Starbucks in Bellevue is *insane* on weekday mornings as people queue up onto 156th waiting for an opening for the drive-in or parking lot. Inside, it's teeming with business as workers from the adjacent office buildings vie for their morning robusta fix. While the inside looks comfortable, it really isn't a great morning spot because of the noise and activity. It's not too bad in the afternoon. And in the evening, you can grab a quickie through the drive-in on the way home. There is outdoor seating towards the 156th side of the building, and it's not too bad on a sunny day, which we are finally getting. I still prefer walking through the Chaplin's lot to the Tully's 0.15 miles away. Considering the volume this location does, the staff are remarkable in maintaining their good humor. The coffee is the McDonald's of caffeine: does its job. You didn't hear this from me: if you're desperate to go in the morning, and there are more than three cars waiting to make the left turn, skip ahead and take a left onto 30th into the office complex past the drive-in. Find the social trail and walk downhill to the Starbucks. read more

I'd like to start off by saying that I am an everyday Starbucks customer. That means I'm well aware of how drinks are supposed to taste and how they are not supposed to taste. Out of all the locations that I've visited, this Starbucks, in particular, is the most inconsistent when it comes to beverages. For example, let's take the seasonal salted caramel mocha - I cannot begin to tell you how many times I've actually wanted them to taste what they handed to me. I have gotten this drink plenty of times and very rarely does it taste like it should at this location- sweet, caramelly, milky and salty. You know, how a holiday drink should taste. Instead, it just tastes like hot water. I'm not joking - it doesn't even taste like a regular mocha (which I wouldn't even complain about even though I should) It literally is tasteless. It's like someone sprinkled some coco powder into a cup of hot water and charged me 6 dollars for it. I hate being that customer but let's face it, Starbucks is not cheap. I just cannot understand how they can afford such a beautiful remodel, yet can't afford proper training on how drinks should taste and be made like each and every time. Don't even get me started on how many times they've confused guava with peach - RED FROM YELLOW. Color-blind employees? Highly likely. The only thing good here is the food. Guess why that is? You guessed it - it's PRE-MADE. Honestly, I appreciate the great customer service and wonderful communication but unfortunately, that is not why I go there. I go there to get my money's worth in quality coffee. I don't know about you, but I'm very sick and tired of asking for replacement drinks after befriending the great staff, it's honestly making me feel ashamed of myself, and that's not what it's supposed to be like. Drive thru because I didn't have time to stop inside. I ordered my usual green tea latte with raspberry syrup. They forgot the milk part of the latte, so stupid. They handed me a DARK gross puke looking drink that tasted like they used three cups of raspberry syrup. I asked them if they cab remake it because this drink will make me sick if I take another sip it was so strong. The lady at the counter said thats how they usually make it and that I should just either toss it or BUY another. After a little more discussion, I decided that I didn't have the time, or the Brain cells to lose if this conversation continued. Drinks are still made well, customer service is still decent. However, after this last visit, I feel the need to warn people to check their lids. I ordered the honey citrus tea, got back to work to drink it but when I picked it up out the cup holder in my car, the lid popped off and I ended up with scalding hot tea on my upper thigh and my right hand. I cannot tell you just how painful that was! So, here I sit in wet pants and a painful hand and upper thigh hoping I don't get blisters. Love coming to this cozy Starbucks to relax and get work done. They have comfy plush chairs with a nice fireplace you can sit by and they have tons of tables and chairs to get work done and of course WIFI. The staff here is always nice and welcoming and make my drinks in a timely manner and are always willing to remake it if it doesn't taste right. Be aware that the drive thru lines are long in the mornings but they do work pretty fast to keep it going. Sometimes its just better to do mobile ordering and come into the store and pickup your drink. Parking is shared with the Jack in the Box next door so sometimes it gets a bit packed. Also sometimes in the drive thru they can give you the wrong drink and it can be hassle to go back since I'm usually in a rush to get to work in the morning but I'm sure they would be willing to make the right drink right away. Also people in the drive thru line are also amazing especially during the holiday season and pay for your drink and you find out when you get to the window which is such a sweet surprise. I'm a huge Starbucks junkie and what I most love about the franchise is, for the most part, its predictability: I like knowing how my drink will be practically the same, wherever I order it. My vanilla latte will be the same whether I get it in a Spokane Starbucks or downtown Seattle. My chai tea latte has always been the same, too - until I ordered from this Starbucks today in Bellevue, just north of I-90. In fact, there were quite a few issues with our Starbucks experience here that were substantially sub-par: -the drive-thru experience was crazy slow. There were issues with the folks' order in the SUV in front of us. We could tell there were issues, with an ongoing dialogue between the driver and the barista through the window. It appeared they tried to give the SUV lady some drinks that she didn't order, and drinks were returned. All in all, the SUV was at the pay counter for nearly 10 minutes and the line behind us stretched out the parking lot, into the street. It was bad. -we asked for 2 chai tea lattes, light on the ice. As we departed the drive-through, we noticed our drinks were 3/4 full of ice. Exactly what we explicitly said we did not want. We were too exhausted to return to get new drinks. Furthermore, our drinks were mostly milk, with barely any chai or coffee taste at all. Did they use ANY chai syrup at all? Or any coffee? Between the abundance of ice and the minimal (or no) chai or coffee, we felt we got NOTHING what we ordered. -we asked for our receipt which, once home, we realized we did not get. Of all the Starbucks I've been to, this was the worst and I'd never return here. read more

Came in on a Friday afternoon for their gold status promotion. I got a mango carrot smoothie and it was delicious, but it was $5.95, which is more than even Jamba charges. The price on the menu board was for a venti, so I imagine if you ordered it in a smaller size it would cost a couple bucks less. I am not a coffee drinker but I still manage to find a variety of drinks at Starbucks to keep me coming back. This location is tucked away behind Eastgate, but it still gets plenty of business. I was surprised to find the inside even busier than the drive through. The workers were friendly, but my drink took longer than they usually do at Starbucks. I love the Starbucks app, because you can get a drink even if you forgot your wallet. Use that for sure. read more

Left (didn't realize until we were on the freeway) with two lattes and two oatmeal a missing some of the fixings. We paid almost $5 each for a drink and left with a $3 drink. Super disappointed. Leave it to the homestate of Starbucks to impress a tourist (and self-professed 'Bucks junkie) with a beautifully-designed building and interior. Well, this chi-chi Bellevue Starbucks did just that for me. I needed a serious caffeine fix after a long night of wedding revelry during a road trip back over the water to downtown Seattle, and this Starbucks is very conveniently located off of the interstate exit. In fact, it even has an ample parking lot and a drive-thru; the only thing I would say to be aware of are the other patrons coming and going from the adjacent Burger King drive-thru, as the entrance/exit crosses the Starbucks drive-thru. The building itself is just pretty, inside and out. It fits the landscape and its environs perfectly. It's a refreshing Starbucks experience, and the cashier who took my order, Bryon, was particularly friendly and congenial, and thanked me by name! My Grande iced coffee with one pump of simple syrup with room was delicious and fresh and not overrun with ice. There is some outdoor seating, and ample indoor seating. The flow from the line to the drink pickup area to the napkins/milk/sugar bar is well laid-out and I didn't experience any bottle-necking, even though it was a busy morning here. Getting back on the highway is easy; just take a right out of the parking lot, and the two highway entrances are after the traffic light. read more

I basically only utilize the drive thru here, so the review only applies to that. This place is super hit or miss. Your drink could be awesome or it could taste like someone burnt some toast and mixed it with cigarette ashes; stuffed it in your cup and poured boiling water all over it. A little cream helps, I guess.... The line could move lightning fast, or at a snails pace. The cashiers are friendly enough, assuming you can understand what they are saying? Some of them have serious cases of the mumbles. They seem to go through cyclical rotations of their crew, so a lot of inconsistencies. Maybe poor management? If I could give negative stars I could. This Starbucks has constant issues with processing transactions. They have kept and lost my credit card and now for the last 3 weeks the receipt printer at the drive through has been broken and not repaired or replaced. This is an essential piece of equipment and should be replaced immediately. So if you want a receipt you have to wait until they print it out on the front cash register. Ridiculous. It is also the only Starbucks that doesn't warm pastries unless you ask for it. If this Starbucks wasn't the only one conveniently on my commute to work route I would never come back. read more

This is one of the larger Starbucks in the area, and although the facility is pretty nice, I do find that I get greeted less here than in any other Starbucks, of the same size or smaller, in the area. I suppose the door being further away than the counter is a downside to this location, but nonetheless, this is what I notice most. It's just not as welcoming at this Starbucks. The outdoor seating is the best part of this location, as the outdoor seating is next to a smaller parking lot next to a smaller street than the one in Factoria area. It makes the ambiance a bit nicer. The other nice thing about this location is that it has a driver thru. Be warned though, the drive thru line starts at the entrance to the parking lot, so when it gets busy, you may be suck on the street. read more

This Starbucks is super close to my school, so I come here often. Sadly, they just can't seem to get the right amount of cream in my iced coffee... Literally every time, there's either TOO much, or TOO little... I don't get it! I've given them descriptions like, "I'd like an inch please!" or "I want it a very light caramel color," but it never works. However, they are always very quick and very nice, so I can't bring myself to give them below a three star. read more
