If they are slow, this is a nice enough starbucks. The interior is all concrete and industrial, the sitting space has 9 comfy chairs. Sadly, it's not a peaceful or relaxing place to sip your coffee for a break. Sitting area is usually taken over by people with computers or having a business meeting, very noisy. If they are busy, forget about going in and getting anything other than to grab a drink. It took over 12 minutes to get a luke warm croissant. The drive through appeared faster and less frustrating. read more

Wanted to share an appreciation post for Tanner who was working the drive thru window. Thank you for amazing service, he was friendly, professional, and gave us some great tips on places to check out during our Austin visit! Thanks Tanner! read more

Starbucks - Cafe americano - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Austin, Texas

I love the quality of the drinks here. I also love that when you go inside to order they'll bring it out to the table you're at. Employees are always so friendly which I admire. Place is well kept and clean. read more

Worst Starbucks probably ever. Blonde barista literally went around kicking all of us out of the inside cafe. "We are closing and trying to get everyone out, thanks" MAYBE ADVISE THAT WHEN IM ORDERING THE DRINK SO THAT I JUST GO BACK TO MY CAR AND NOT SIT DOWN AND GET COMFY?? Thanks. read more

Nice and clean environment like every other Starbucks. . Very helpful staff. Cheerful

The barista that took my order was unkind and condescending. She called me Mam nearly 10 times in a very rude way. Will not be coming back here again any time soon. read more

I would give 0 if I could. My favorite thing about this starbs, is that they lock there doors an hour before closing. The baristas watched me walk up to the door, made eye contact with me, and looked away as to present like she didn't see me. If your understaffed, and can't open cafe, at least but a sign up or something. But being understaffed did not seem to be the case. read more

I think the customer service quality has gone down with the sense of obligatory self-entitlement in customer service care. Having said that, the barristers are very rude, the quality of the Oleatos brewed are purposefully served curtly, and you are forced to buy more. read more

I put a bad review here because of a very unhappy racism experience. I used a wrong English word because I was outraged by coffee spilled all over my shirt, and a white woman looked at me with judging eyes, talking to the barista "is she using word xxxx". And the barista answered yes. It would be appreciated to notify your customers to not to be rude instead of agreeing with them. All of your ancestors are immigrants and English was probably not their first language. I bet the lady does not even know how to survive in a very different country which does not speak her first language with a competitive job offer. Because all competent human beings I run into my life with better education, better culture sense and higher income know how to be respectful and keep learning from others. And obviously she is not one of them. Only ppl with shallow experiences and narrow mind judge because of being ignorant. read more

Didn't really care for this Starbucks location. Came in close to closing time and the employees apparently had mentally already checked out. They were talking to each other on the microphone and laughing rather than helping me and the other person waiting at the register. Sorry to interrupt your little party, I just wanted a coffee so I could keep working since I am not going home anytime soon. I'll pick a different Starbucks location next time. read more

Love how I was invited to help myself to the drink trays and straws when I asked for some. September 12 @ 3:30pm - I drive for Postmates and was picking up a two drink delivery from Starbucks. I asked for a tray. This babe grabbed one of those cardboard trays from behind the counter, tossed it at me and say, "They're right here, ma'am. They're always right here." She pointed to where they're stored, out of sight, behind the raised barrier. Sweet! Next time I want something extra, I won't hesitate to just reach behind the counter and grab it for myself. read more

Spacious Starbucks. It has a good size parking lot and drive thru. Customer service is good here. I like to come here and study, lots of tables and small couch chairs to sit in. The music is pretty low which helps with my concentration when studying here. read more

Warm welcomes, smiling staff, and always attentive and double checking your order. Before Covid, was my go to to telework work and their WiFi was strong enough that my VPN worked flawlessly. read more

This is one of the most friendly locations I've found in quite a while, and I have made it part of my daily routine since moving to Austin. I am always greeted with a warm welcome and the quality is consistent. The inside seating is spaced appropriately and staff always follow current health protocol. Very happy to have this store nearby! read more

I originally posted a review that was intended for the Starbucks on IH-35 and Oltorf. I was very happy with the service I received from this location especially after a month ago down the road the other Starbucks morning crew was terrible and clearly miserable. Sara helped me at the drive thru window today and she was so sweet and patient with my order. There was no line and drive thru had no one there which was a plus but she took the opportunity to ask me about my day and my plans while we waited for my breakfast wrap. A small gesture goes a really long way for me even as simple as asking how your day is going. I will be back to this Oltorf location! read more

Absolutely one of the worst Starbucks in the area. This store is routinely out of basic breakfast items, wait times are horrendous, and the staff is ambivalent to customer frustrations. In my LAST visit to this location in the drive thru, I was told that my egg white bites would take a while longer and to pull around the corner. I asked the gentleman if there was any room since I noticed there were no spots in the parking lot or the line for the drive thru was so long (see wait times above) that it blocked access to open spots. He stated there was room and to pull forward. Sure enough, there wasn't and I had to illegally park and get in other customers' way. When the guy gave me my food, I shared my experience and frustration with him...and his comment was that the, " ...store management was the worst". If someone from the corporate offices pays attention to this stuff, please get this addressed. I love Starbucks and this location is super convenient for me, but I will no longer be a customer of this location. read more

Great service. I had the iced chai tea and the hubby had an iced coffee. Both drinks were as ordered. This location seems to have a more open floor plan than the other locations read more

A very average Starbucks. There is both indoor and outdoor seating plus a drive thru. Service was mediocre. I noticed many customers having to stand in line without assistance for several minutes before being helped by employees. It wasn't that there was anything urgent, but the staff wasn't in a hurry to serve the line. I found this amusing and perplexing. There's not a crazy amount of seating but customer traffic was slow and steady so it was sufficient. The restroom was clean when I went which was nice. For the price of the drink, the experience felt overly corporate and impersonal. read more

It's really the furniture that gives this Starbucks that extra star. Love that smooth wood. The power strip running along the horizontal mullion of the glass storefront West wall interior detail is brilliant. And location. South First & Oltorf is a great place to be! read more

Not ready for prime time. Five baristas and I still waited eight minutes to have an order taken, only one other customer in the shop. Had to, of course go back and inquire about the croissant and wait again. Tables were covered in debris and crumbs even though, five people and now only three customers. Just too busy I guess at 8:50 in the morning. They need to fire everyone and start over. read more

I went in for business work travel. They Wifi was okay. The service was great. They were great with food, drinks, tea, and waters. I was not harassed. I was assisted as needed. I've been to many Starbucks drive-thrus and this one is my favorite. The employees are always extra friendly and the line goes so quick!

This is my first time at this particular Starbucks and I thought it was a great experience. I was already feeling down earlier today, but the employees were all friendly and went out of their way. There was a guy with a white shirt (employee) who was refilling ice, and instead of saying "I'll be right with you", he said, "what can I get ordered for you." While still needing to put the ice bucket away. I told him he can go ahead and put that away, he said , "it's okay, I can get your order first." THAT IS CUSTOMER FIRST! He smiled and seemed very happy to be there. I know people are very busy and juggling between two or more things at one time, so for him to put me first says a lot to me. Thank you C for that. It brightened my day. And it wasn't just the caffeine, it was the friendly environment from the entire staff. It's very spacious in there and there is an outdoor deck. It's a great place for a person who was just home all day depressed. I say this with experience. Thank you and I look forward to another wonderful experience here again soon. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Austin, Texas

I was not going to rate this Starbucks until I tried it a second time. Well I stopped by this morning and now I'm ready to provide my one star review. Worst Starbucks experiences ever! The staff appeared to be pissed off at the world, my coffee tasted burnt and my breakfast sandwich wasn't properly handled so it was stuck to the paper and had fallen apart. Go to Fair Bean on S. 1st. Great customer service, delicious coffee and food/baked goods made in house! If you can't be bothered to get out of the car, try the Starbucks on Lamar. read more

Not sure if I was wrong to order 9 drinks at the drive thru, but the fellow taking orders didn't seemed too pleased with my order. Gave me some sass about ordering, suggested I go inside to order and then told me a drink didn't exist, even though I was shown later it's on the website. Some of the drinks weren't right, hot drinks instead of cold kinda thing. I didn't go inside because I was alone and didn't expect anyone inside to help me carry 9 drinks to my car, figured it'd be easier on everyone. Other than that, the drinks were executed quickly and I'd say for the most part ordering 9 drinks at the drive thru mostly worked out. read more

My drink is always made perfectly, and service is great and fast! Sean is my favorite barista, he always makes my day! :-)

For an early morning coffee pick-up, the wait was minimal and the service was super casual, kind and sweet! The guy gave me the best compliment on my outfit and I wasn't even feeling it. Thanks young man for making this gal feel fabulous! Chai tea came out perfect; I would definitely return. read more

I don't know what the deal is but everyone that works here is so nice!! I ordered a frappe that's technically off season but they still had the ingredients and made it for me, and substituted the topping with caramel since they no longer had it. It's not a huge deal but I always love coming here :) plus I never have to wait long in the drive through even when it's wrapped around the building. read more

I wait outside 25 min in morning.employer don't know what time they need to open.they open 5:30 am today.

So disappointed in the new layout! I come here to work on my laptop since I live in the neighborhood and always loved that they had long bench seating along the windows and a big middle island wooden work surface that I and other people would use to work on our laptops. It used to feel like a great co-working space and community - now it's all been replaced by round, high-top tables and stools that aren't functional or comfortable. I'll have to find a new coffeeshop to take my laptop to. read more

it's been 16 minutes since i arrived. the drive thru lane comes from two different directions, and people don't understand how to merge and take turns. i'm in my car, and i can take this time to write this review, because i'm in coffee gridlock. you know how IH35 and MLK gets around a UT game? take that, and add the area around Mopac & Enfield around 6pm on a Friday. then sprinkle in Sixth and Lamar at Whole Foods when they have the ice skating rink. Top this experience with Black Friday at Walmart and just a touch of Dirty Sixth on Halloween in the late 90s. the saving grace to this experience? Rebecca and Mr Fabulous. the two darling baristas that made it all better. one took my order, and the other handed me my silly coffee. both were awesome for the few seconds i saw them. the parking lot? fuck that. if you've never experienced road rage, stop by! read more

To me, two things that are important at Starbucks are coffee and customer service. I've never had a poor experience with either!
