This starbucks is located in downtown alhambra, next to chicken koop. No drive thru. They serve fast and are pretty organized with giving out drinks. There is a dedicated person to just call names and hand out drinks. Drinks are ok. read more

I most come here for tasty drinks, order online then pickup to save time and limit outside contact during Covid-19 times. It's slowly going back to the before-times, recently saw seating inside opening up and a person on their laptop enjoying the ambiance. My most recent visit was for coffee grounds for my garden/compost. Employee named Jacob was the best, going above and beyond to explain the Coffee Grounds for your Garden program over the phone. He was patient, cheerful and informative really above and beyond in all the Starbucks I've visited. You call ahead of time to schedule a pick-up day/time and they will know to start saving up the used coffee grounds forward you as they do not have the space for storage. When I showed up at my scheduled coffee grounds pick up, Jacob was kind enough to carry the two large bags of grounds and helped load my car. Neatly bagged and with no leaks or mess. Highly recommend any gardeners to use up this free resource! read more

This Starbucks is always busy and full of people studying. I like getting their Chai Latte, it's very calming for me and not too sweet. Starbucks comes out with food every so often and they came out with a strawberry & toasted almonds overnight grains. It was delicious and healthy. I usually have this first thing in the morning. They have many healthy options such as the spinach, feta & cage free egg white wrap. Plenty of protein in this wrap. There's parking on the street, but it's only 24 minutes. They are fairly strict about the time. I have seen an officer give out tickets. There's a parking structure next to Starbucks. The first level is also 24 minutes parking. Literally the worst Starbucks service of any Starbucks I've ever been to. They made 1 of 2 drinks in 5 minutes and the 2nd drink took 17 minutes to make. The ice was almost melted in the first drink by the time the second drink came out. Which would've been fine if it wasn't coupled with awful customer service/borderline rudeness. Side note: don't ask for drink trays. Save yourself the frustration and go to the next closest Starbucks. read more

I usually do the mobile order and pick up at this location. The street parking in the morning is a problem! I always need to park at the parking structure on 1st street and walk there (~2 mins walk). I wanna shout out to the barista Cinthia! She's super friendly, and she makes the coffee in right portion. She already knew my name, so I may pick up my coffee in a speedy way every time I come. Thank you Cinthia for making the mobile pick-up efficient. Although the parking here is not convenient, she makes that part up. Thank you again! read more

You go to buy overpriced coffee for the customer service. After spending $40 you would expect a little more than to be treated like cattle. I learned my lesson today and for now on I will be getting my coffee from independent coffee shops. They need our support more than ever. read more

Place an order at 8am for 2 crafts for pick up. Arrived at 820 and then was told it takes 15 min per a craft. So it'll be ready by 830. It's 843 now and they told me they just started brewing the coffee. JUST STARTED. I order a craft cause clearly I have a function I need to be present for. Very poor time management. They need to set up realistic time and wait expectations to avoid upset clients. And cherry on top when asked how much longer so I can anticipate how much time I have to rush to work. We headed over to this place because we were on the waitlist for Gen across the street. There are parking structures nearby, so parking is easy. Restrooms are located to the right of the Starbucks cups/coffee beans near the refrigerated items down a short hallway. The place has several different seating options such as counter seating, table seating, and individual couch seating. The interior was pretty clean and brightly lit. There were quite a lot of people, but we got lucky and seats freed up at the counter. We ordered our drinks through the mobile app, grabbed those seats, and enjoyed our drinks. Super nice staff and good drinks. I'm giving 3 stars because they prepare your drinks then sit them out for random customers to touch, pickup and look at. Mine was actually stolen on more than one occasion due to people just randomly walking in and taking drinks. They gotta think of a better system I'm sure the loss revenue is high simply beget don't directly hand you the drinks. One time someone took my drink I had to wait 10 minutes for them to make another one and as I walked back to work I saw the person with my drink sitting at a bus stop enjoying it. read more

Decent Starbucks, but how do you not have ANY electrical outlets? Is this a new thing? I came here after dropping my car off at Toyota in the morning. I will say its one of the few places open at 7am in the morning but I had my laptop so I could work remotely. There were seats at this time but not one outlet in the whole place. How is that possible? The line was pretty steady throughout so I waited for it to die down before I ordered. I got my standard Spinach Feta Wrap and sat down to do work. This Starbucks is pretty busy and loud. I had one work meeting and my boss had said the background noise was loud. Overall a good Starbucks, clean and friendly service. But you need at least a few outlets! read more

I live close by and This is my go to Starbucks everyday before work and even on my days off. I always mobile order 10-15 Minutes before going. Yes they are a very busy location but you have to keep in Mind it is expected as they are located on Main Street near other restaurants, movie theaters , high school, police station, city hall and the fire department of course it's a busy location as it attracts many. The staff is very friendly and I've never had an issue other than waiting a bit but again it's expected due to the location and amount of traffic they deal with. People have to just be patient and respect these baristas that are doing their best daily to get your orders. Thanks Team on Main Street read more

Love coming here for my morning coffee Always order ahead of time on the app , and just grab and go ! There's a parking structure so parking shouldn't be a problem . And the staff here are always nice (: I love the upside down caramel macchiato with extra caramel or matcha green tea latte And the cream cheese Danish warmed up is to DIE FOR ! This is a nice, small spot to get some work done with their free Wifi. There is a restroom in here, and the staff has always been courteous to me here. You can park in the limited street spots, or in the large parking structure across from the motel. I enjoy the hot cafe mochas! read more

Red Velvet and a Mouth Full of Dry Carpet! Cupcakes and even Red Velvet? Since when does Starbucks sell red velvet cupcakes? I couldn't resist when the employee told me they were good and baked by "a special Starbucks Bakery." Recently, another Yelper (Maggie C) suggested I try Starbucks Macarons..which were delicious.. how could these be bad? I want my $2.25 back please! The frosting was ok. The cake itself was dry. Felt like I bit into carpet. Red Carpet Cupcake. The employees at this location are always nice and friendly. I have yet to see them grumpy. They always make my coffee just right. After having lunch with some fellow students, we walked across the street to get some much needed refreshments. We decided to walk around town a bit, and Alhambra was hotter than usual. We ordered some tretta iced green teas, and enjoyed them while checking out downtown area. This location is friendly and efficient. The restrooms and kept clean, and you need a code to access it. Their air conditioning provided much needed relief from the heat outside. Most other patrons were families enjoying a Friday night out. Some students were here as well, although I could never study at a Starbucks. I'm glad their here though, their green tea hit the spot. read more

My girlfriend & I were there this past Saturday night. The cashier had taken the order of a couple & continued to smoosh with them while for a good 15-20 minutes while we waited in line. When she took our order, her friendliness had been wasted on the young couple. I wanted to use the bathroom. The guy making the coffee rudely said it was closed. I went here a week ago and a barista(tall white guy) told me to put my mask over my nose as it was already over my mouth. He made a point of calling me out in front of all the customers. I was six feet apart from everybody and it felt like a petty thing to do. To top it off, they somehow forgot to make my drink and I stood there for almost 20 minutes doing nothing until I asked about it. The baristas should making drinks and not policing customers. They can at least do that right. read more

Beverages: Starbucks has always been a quick-coffee-stop for me (regardless of location). I'm a black coffee drinker, and 96% of the time, my Starbucks order is "Grande Pike". If I'm feeling adventurous, I'll dive into their other drinks. Food: Call me crazy but Starbucks bakery, hot breakfast, paninis, and salads are actually pretty tasty! My favorites are their scones, coffee cakes, savory squares, and their salads. Service: I heard that baristas are trained to try to remember regulars and their orders. I don't come to this location as much so no one really knows my order. Regardless, the baristas are so friendly (like all Starbucks) and chill! I love hearing them greet a regular by name as soon as they walk through the door! Parking: At this moment, the closest free parking structure is on 1st Street (diagonally across from the corner that Starbucks is on.) There's also street parking if you are able to find closer spots. They're going to start construction for an additional parking structure on North 1st soon, so, closer parking! *Note: My geography kind of blows sometimes, so hopefully I didn't get my streets mixed up! read more

Parking is bad here and some areas you have to pay. You can find free parking in the parking structures on first st, the cha for tea parking lot, or even the movie theatre. Service is exceptional here. Well that's what I've notice at the times I've been here. Estaban is the greatest barista ever! He even remembered my face when I walked in last week. He use to work in the Rosemead location in the target plaza three years ago! He has such a good memory. It's interesting that this place has a code to use their restroom. I guess it's to deter non-customers from using their restroom without paying for something. Smart move on their part! read more

The matcha itself was pretty weak and a bit flat, missing that rich, earthy depth you'd hope for, so overall it just fell a little meh. The sesame cream added a nice richness, but didn't bring much of that distinct nutty sesame flavor and mostly just tasted creamy. That said, the space is beautiful. It's clean and minimalist with lots of natural wood, high ceilings, and an open, airy layout. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to work, study, or just hang out. I'd still be open to coming back and giving it another try, maybe the double matcha will hit better next time.

The coconut juice is refreshing while the perfectly sweet espresso foam still has enough of a caffeinated kick to get me going. A good option when I'm not craving something with milk. Their regular latte was okay and didn't like the other drinks I have tried on the menu. A lot of my friends love their other drinks but they might be a little too strong for me. There is some seating for small parties or dates. The place is decorated in a way that makes me feel like I transported to a cute cafe in Asia. The service is mostly friendly but they all do seem tired and super busy most of the times I stopped by.

I ordered mine with the extra lychee popping boba (+$1), so total was $7.95, and I'd rate it around a 6.8/10 this visit. My husband always tells me to stop doing 70% sugar because "either commit or don't" and honestly... he might've been right this time. But even aside from that, both the coconut topping and mango felt less sweet than usual and just didn't have that bold flavor we normally love. Maybe it was because they were extra busy and moving fast -- totally understandable -- but it was the first time it felt a little less magical than usual. Still... one off night absolutely won't stop us from coming back because when that Coco Mango hits, it hits.
