When I'm craving something sweet I think of Ice Cream. The closest Cold Stone is near my job which makes it even better! I wish I could say I'd visit it every week if I could, but I limit myself to a once in a while treat. When I've gone, I have been treated fairly by the staff. They also let me taste some of the new flavors when I ask. If they don't, they're probably busy. It's one of the cleanest places I've gone to! It hits the spot though! read more

What's the deal with the no indoor seating? They also put a tape a few ft from the glass so you can get close when ordering. I get it if you don't want customers to sit all day, buts a shame to not be able to enjoy the ice cream on a hot day. read more

Stopped by here after KBBQ, it was nice and the staff were friendly. We tried a few samples which was enough for us to make a decision. Flavors were good and fresh, ambiance was quick walk in and out. No, seating but it was a cool place. It's right in the corner, hard to miss. Will come here again after KBBQ for sure. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Alhambra, California

I had the worst experience picking up a cake order here. There was an employee who seemed like a manager gossiping with customers under the pick-up sign and rudely pointing at other staff when asked for service. Meanwhile everyone else is totally slammed, running around, and she won't even stop her gossiping session long enough to answer the other staff's questions so we can all move on with our lives. Everyone in the shop is just screaming at the top of their lungs to be heard over the chaos, no one is getting helped, and it was overall just very slow and miserable to do what was supposed to be a quick pick-up. read more

Being lactose intolerant I have never had Cold stone Creamery. Well all I have to say is.......... It was worth it! Every spoon full of that delicious milky ice cream was worth it. 10/10 would take that risk again. Thank you Julian for the recommendations and suggesting the cold stone app to save! Cold Stone Creamery - Strawberry Passion and Founders Favorite - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Alhambra, California

I haven't been to a Cold Stone Creamery in yearssss, but recently went (twice) and it's just as delicious as ever. Super fast service, delicious customizable ice cream concoctions and fresh waffle bowls. The second time we went, the girl (dark hair) made not only delicious ice cream, but took the time to make it look picture perfect worthy. Clearly, she takes pride in her job. : ) I'll definitely be back soon! read more

Excellent service, though the tapes in front of the glass isn't necessary... They will work with you if you don't know what you want to have here, lots of combinations possible. Don't forget to get your BOGO on your bday month. There is no indoor seating but smaller 2 person tables for outdoor seating. It's quite nice actually to sit there and people watch as well as traffic watch. 24 min parking on this street so be conscious if you park outside read more

I've never been to a cold stone where you couldn't try their ice cream. My kids have never been to a cold stone, but we're only allowed to try the promotional ice cream.. the ladies in here aren't very friendly as well. I ordered a shake and it was more like a juice lol the lady told me it was because of the fruits I added in my shake LMAO no it's because you were stingy with the ice cream and added too much milk. I never come back here again. I should've just went to Monrovia and they skim you on the ice cream, my kids were complaining that it wasn't enough. Customer service is horrible. read more

I ordered a birthday cake for delivery through Grub Hub. My selection was not available but Leyla made sure we were not disappointed. She called me twice and felt a voicemail and provided over the phone all the cake selections they had in stock. She even personalized the cake too! Her professionalism and determination to make sure I was a satisfied cold stone customer is commendable. Thank you Cold Stone and Leyla!!! read more

LULU was the worst. Attitude , unprofessional and talking bad about customers under her breath. Horrible experience thanks to LULU.

I come here often but today I got a worker named lulu. I ordered a strawberry randevu which was a discontinued recipe And she made it seem like she wasn't allowed to make it. And kept saying she doesn't know why it was discontinued and said maybe she's not allowed to because of the toppings but she'll make it for us "this one time". We literally get that ice cream every time no problems. It's literally on the cheat sheet the workers use for recipes. She just was annoying and took it too serious just make my ice cream. read more

Ordered 5 ice creams. $60. Young man with a mustache made 4 of the 5 orders in 3 minutes. They tasted like crap. Nothing was mixed in properly. The ingredients were exhausted in 3 bites, and the rest was plain ice cream. Come on CS. Work really hard for my money. Last time I was there it took 20 min to make our similar orders with care and attention to detail. 3 minutes making 4 of our 5 orders...tasted like crap. Nobody behind us in line. No need for a mad rush of any kind. They had 3-4 employees. Can't understand why the employee was in such a rush. read more

Ice Cream, you scream..."Scream what?!" Ice cream duh! Cold stone creamery has been a staple in the SFV for years. You can order a signature creation or create your own. Pick your base flavors, add ins of choice then watch a cold stone employee mix up your personal concoction right in front of your eyes!!! Pretty cool, right?! It's a creamy delight that has the soft consistency like soft serve, my personal fav! Great for taking the family after dinner...but who needs an excuse for ice cream? Not me! Pick a cup or a cone! They also sell ice cream cakes and sandwiches! A little pricey but sometimes ya just gotta go for it! Plenty of parking read more

Kudos to the Thursday night crew! Thanks for hooking me up with some tasty late night treats! Thanks Julian for awesome service

Have not gone inside a Cold Stone in maybe a decade. Its located on a corner on Main Street next to Starbucks with no place to sit down unless there is availability outside on the sidewalk. Decent ice cream if you want something customized. If not, go to Afters. read more

This Cold Stone Creamery location in Alhambra is my go-to Cold Stone. I've been coming here for years. Most recently I got an ice cream cake here and now with the online options, things are very easy and streamlined. You're able to do everything online and show up in the store to pick it up the day you have it set on. It's been a hot minute since I have been to a Cold Stone. There is definitely a sense of nostalgia for me. I kind of hate and also love the waffle cones and waffle bowls because the way it wafts through the air and it just smells so amazing. If you've never been to a Cold Stone, you're able to choose an ice cream base and then toppings where the team member will mix and chop up the ingredients into the ice cream for a yummy treat. The ability to customize things to whatever you want was pretty novel at the time. Parking: there is a structure right across the street but slightly north. There are a couple of 24 minutes spots on the first floor so it makes it easy for a grab and go. Otherwise, if you get lucky there is street parking if you get lucky. read more

Almost $8 for a small ice cream and no samples of some flavors I've never tried before doesn't seem reasonable to me... It's a loud environment and you aren't allowed to get close to the ice cream glass as they have it roped off so make sure you use your loud voice and listen closely. Not much to say about the service. They all seemed pretty young, not very friendly and probably tired from a long day. All I can say is I miss the rite aid down the street and their ice cream. read more

Response from the owner Elizabeth after I raised an issue about the spelling of the name being wrong. There's no accountability for the store or employee to acknowledge a mistake was made but rather made it look like I could have avoided this when the employee or even the manager could have done their due diligence to ensure they did their job correctly. They said the issue could have been avoided if I alerted them in the store. An employee called me and said the manager would reach out regarding a reimbursement or a discount and I got none of that. (Owners response to me below) "Hello, we do apologize for the inconvenience. In the future, when an issue arises, we are more than happy to correct the error. We looked into the situation via cameras, and we saw that the issue could have been avoided. We viewed a picture that you posted on Yelp that we have a video of you taking in the store which lets us know that you could have alerted us of the misspelling in store. We would have been happy to correct then and there in the store. Sorry again." read more

Cold Stone (Alhambra, CA) 1. Berry Berry Good | $8 | 4.5/5 Review: - This is actually my first time trying cold stone (no way!) and it was amazing. I didn't know they would create the ice cream in front of you. I thought they would scoop ice cream like all other places. - I got a large and they gave me so much! Make sure to come during closing! - The berry berry good had all the berries and was extremely sweet and fruity. - Would definitely come back here again as I love the complexity they have in their ice cream. Parking: Free. There are free parking structures around main street. read more

Daughter loved her first cold stone experience, inflation has made the smallest size Oreo flavor without the cone $7.99 Also no places to sit inside nor a bathroom. Outdoor seating had their chairs on-top of tables. We ended up going to the Starbucks next door, using their bathroom, getting coffee, and sitting there at the chairs outside Starbucks. So yeah kind of a long process to get ice cream but we had a great time read more

second time coming and leaving disappointed. why are you guys promoting still promoting the boo batter ice cream taco and not having it? and it's not like I came around closing time I came around 7;20 and you guys close at 10 so why you guys aren't prepared for the second time is beyond unacceptable. On a corner on Main Street, no place to sit down unless there is availability outside on the sidewalk. This location protects its worker and customers by maintain safe distance protocols being a high traffic store. Ordered the chocolate devotion was is essentially dark chocolate with brownies, fudge and bits mixed into an awesome scoop. They have three sizes and the price difference makes it completely more worth it to just order the largest "Gotta have it" size. (50 cent differences between the sizes). Besides having delicious selections the service here is top notch and wanted so a shout out to James for being such an awesome, patient, and courteous customer service professional highly admire by my wife and I. There is parking in a structure down the small street that free if you cannot find parking in this busy street. I highly recommend this business and location! Again thanx James for making our night through kindness! read more

Tastes great as usual. Wish they had better deals. Used the special they had for 25% off so I splurged and ordered waffle cone medium size and they only took off like 30 cents so must of just took off 25% of just waffle cone. What a deceiving disappointment and the service was so cold and unfriendly. It wasn't even busy. Only 3 couples were there ordering including us. Too bad Rosemead location closes early. No matter how busy they are they are friendly. read more

We went in around noon today and the worker seemed like she didn't want to do her job. It was a middle aged lady and she tried to not give us toppings and give us plain ice cream. Then I had to ask her to put in toppings and mix it then she said she couldn't mix it in. Very bad experience at this cold stone, I will not be coming back to this cold stone. read more

Although there are many Cold Stones around, I haven't been to one in many years. I visited this one for a quick ice cream and believe got a cup of the Apple Pie a La Coldstone. I asked for less caramel since I am not a big fan of overly sweet foods. I wish I asked for less apple pie as well, since I forgot how sweet that was! Overall, the ice cream was still too sweet for my liking. However, other than the sweetness, the texture and everything else was as expected and still a better experience than store bought ice cream. read more

I took my family for ice cream. We were helped by a very polite young girl. However there was a dyed blonde girl with a nose ring who kept making remarks about us to other customers. She seemed bothered and did not like kids. She also made a remark about how she did understand why someone would bring their kid to an ice cream shop. It felt like it was a race issue with her and her remarks of " these people" My niece is a toddler and our experience was uncomfortable. It was not just one remark but multiple and after we did tell her we felt like she was being rude, she made a comment of " I'm not going to bother with you people". It was the attitude that made the environment hostile. It's not a family friendly establishment. read more

Have always been a fan of Cold Stone. Who doesn't like customization?! My favorite and typically the only thing I order for myself is cheesecake ice cream with brownie and strawberries mixed in. Yum! Seems to be new employees every time I go in. I usually have good service with no complaints. However, my last visit was not so great. The young man mixing my ice cream showed minimal effort in greeting me, in his horrible listening and speaking skills, and in doing his main job...mixing. I was not satisfied when I was handed the order. However, I didn't make a fuss about it because him and an older woman were too busy displaying their annoyance with each other by exchanging looks and comments. Extremely unprofessional. The cashier was friendly and took my payment despite the foolishness going on behind her. I still love Cold Stone and am hoping my next experience will be a positive one. read more

***Edit Added*** Horrible customer service. Ordered ice cream and it tasted spoiled. i took it back and the worker offered to remake it. i asked if i could get a refund instead cause i was kinda grossed out already and another worker, Layla, was extremely rude and told me they wouldn't give me a refund since i had taken a bite already..... but like yeah??? that's how i know it tastes spoiled. i was upset but i said okay ill just take a different ice cream and she said now she would only serve me a kids scoop. it felt like she was being petty and rude for no reason. so i paid for ice cream and walked out with NOTHING. all i wanted was an ice cream that didn't taste funky ***EDIT*** you did not replace my order. i walked out of there empty handed without a refund or the correct ice cream. also... i ordered chocolate and was given what looked like chocolate . so not sure how you mix up chocolate and cheesecake. read more

The manager at this location isn't attentive to her customers. My family and I came to this location for a sweet treat, and before greeting us she just asked "what do you need?" I understand it was somewhat busy, but as a manager you should know how to work through every circumstance. Also she failed to get our order correct, my dad wanted a simple one scoop cone, and she gave him a like it sized cup. After communicating that it wasn't correct, she simply said it would be too much work for her to put it into a cone, and said she would put one on top, but continued to charge extra for the cone on top of charging the like it size that we didn't want. She also didn't wash the utensils that she was using before moving to the next flavor. I didn't want to make a big deal of it at the time, but the service was honestly so upsetting. Cold Stone, please do better. read more
