OMG.. senorita bread.... they're just yummy delicious morsels that you can eat an entire box of.. and well, they come in different size boxes too.. lol. I had heard about this Starbread place several times from my husband who couldn't stop raving about their Senorita bread. So, while visiting family friends with my dad, somehow this place came up in topic. I told our friends about how I keep hearing about it but had yet to try some, which immediately sparked them to take me to get some. Boy was I glad when I did. Walking into that bakery & smelling the divine bread, it was awesome!! Made me want to just stay & work amongst the yummy goodness. We decided on getting a few boxes containing 25 pieces of this amazingly good bread that is just so simple! You can opt to get more or less pieces, depending on how strong your urge is, but they really are small. On top of it's amazing flavor, they give it to you FRESH & warm! It was so fresh, I couldn't wait to take it back for a taste & opened the box in the car to grab one....SOOO, so good!! The buttery, sugary goodness is what makes this bread so addicting!! Delicious pastries, they have the most delicious Señorita bread: sweet, salty, soft, warm, and fresh from the oven. Small shop in a dead shopping center. Definitely a place to not judge by it's cover. Because in one of those shops is a place that makes something to make your mouth water. That place is Starbread Bakery. Senorita bread is all you'll need. Look at all the other nice goods if you please but if you walk out without purchasing any Senorita bread you need to get yourself checked out. Upon choosing how many Senorita bread you would like to inflate your belly with, the nice old lady will retrieve to the back with fresh, hot Senorita bread. I haven't found these cylindrical, hot, sticky buns anywhere. Also don't think you can get only with just eating one. No matter how strict you may be with your diet, I'm sure you will be wanting more than 1. Go ahead, no one will judge you. I know all Asians area always looking for a deal. Just to save you the trouble, there is no deal. No matter how many you buy it is always $2 for 5 Senorita bread. There are several other Starbread Bakeries in the Bay Area, but this is the only one I've been to. Cream cheese senoritas... My lawd.. So good. You gotta come here at the right time. When they first open, they're pretty much stocked but when it comes to a couple hours after their opening time, they're usually out of almost everything. It takes a couple hours for them to bake more of certain stuff.. The prices are super cheap for what you get. I always buy way too much because I come in there way too hungry. My fault. But senoritas always taste better with Thai Tea next door. The service here is always friaendly. Just gotta watch out for that homeless guy thats always outside. He's a trip. My boyfriend took me home for the weekend and before we got back to his dad's place, we stopped off here for Tapioca Express and seniorita bread. I've never really been to the Vallejo area and I have a Starbread Bakery back home in SSF so why would I need to come all the way over here for bread? Well, according to my loving boyfriend, Vallejo's seniorita bread is WAY better than the one in SSF. Fine, show me. This Starbread Bakery is located in a small plaza so parking is abundant. The inside of it looks sort of iffy, but the desserts in the glass case was enough to get me interested. What's interesting about this plae is that they have photos up of strange men to keep an eye out for. It's kinda weird having those photos out because it's like... as a customer, what am I to think.. but anyway, service was fast as always for seniorita bread. My boyfriend got the $10 box since you need $10 minimum in order to use card. We were in and out of here pretty fast and I was able to eat one of these breads as I waited for my drink at Tapioca Express. And now that I have had what Vallejo has to offer, I can safely say that SSF has way better seniorita bread. My boyfriend agreed that the bread just didn't taste as good as it usually does and suggested it was a bad day for them, but oh well. I give the senorita bread my first 5-star rating. Biting into the senorita bread is how I imagine biting into a cloud feels like....it's just heavenly! I bought 25 pieces for $10. I originally intended to give it to my favorite cousin in-law (in my dad's side of the family) as a "thank you" for taking us to the airport....however, while i was driving home, i couldn't resist the smell of the delicious rolls. Before I knew it, I was reaching inside the box and helping myself to a roll, then another, then another, then another.... I just couldn't stop. The location of this Starbread and neighboring businesses have became homeless central. I wanted to pick up some Seniorita bread today but couldn't because I was being yelled at by a crazy homeless guy as soon as I parked out front. I had kids in the car so I decided to park further away and see if they would accommodate by bringing it out instead. They did, however, the guy kept following us and harassing us where ever I moved. On a recent trip to Napa Valley, my parents decided that the last thing we needed to do before making the long drive back to LA was to make a quick trip for what they called "Senorita" bread. My other relatives were big fans as well and directed us to this Vallejo location, telling us to come early so we can get the freshest bread. We came early on a Monday morning and the parking lot was almost completely empty. We almost missed it as it is a nondescript location in the middle of a big shopping center plaza with a huge parking lot. After opening the door and catching the first whiff of freshly baked bread, I knew that these were going to be great. The bakery itself is pretty small, and nothing about the decor of this place was especially clean or memorable, and there weren't even places to sit and eat. But it was clear that with the small crowd inside, and the customers that came in quickly after us on a Monday morning were good indications that these many people could not be wrong! Their famous Senorita breads are little rolls of heaven, sized just right for 2 or 3 bites. They are buttery and sweet with just a touch of honey inside the roll. They aren't overly sweet so you don't get sick of the taste, and before you know it, you can quickly finish a small order of 5 pieces in no time. They sell 5 pieces for $2 and they also sell them in boxes of up to 50 pieces for $20 for the fresh bread. They had pre-packaged bags of 8 sold for $3 which is what my parents brought to give their friends when we got home. Without hesitation, we sprung for a box of 50 pieces and were on our merry way back to Socal... So overall... The good: The Senorita bread. Amazing. Just a little sweet, buttery, and delicious. I'd imagine they'd be perfect for breakfast, as a snack, with coffee. They are great even by themselves! Accepts card, quick service, and very reasonable prices. The bad: The selection was pretty lacking, but it was clear that the focus of this place was on their star product. The ugly: I could imagine how well this place would do if they spruced up their bakery and turned it into a little place to eat with coffee and other pastries, because the place itself is not all that great. But who cares with bread this good? :) read more

Delicious. Señorita bread is ALWAYS a hit, and this is one of the few places you can get its there is really little else to get from Star bread except for the señorita bread. All you have to do is line up and choose what size you want ($8 for 20 pieces is popular though you can get smaller). Someone told me that they know of people driving from San Jose (an hour drive) for the senorita bread. That should pretty much sum up what this sweet delicious bread taste like.
