I was in the mood for an egg, ham, and cheese croissant . I work in Benicia and this place was the first result. I am all for helping local businesses. Donuts are great. You have to get there very early because they run out quick. Donuts baked at another location (West Vallejo), still fresh though. This was the first time I can remember, that I purposely did not finish an Apple Fritter. I went on Saturday March 15, 2025 about 8:45 ish, and there were slim pickings in the case, so for the business thats cool they obviously had a busy morning, The lady helping me said they got wiped out with big orders, that's good for them, The customer in front of me ordered an Apple fritter, I was surprised because I didn't see a " normal" looking Apple fritter in the case, but the lady grabbed what they're selling and put it in a bag, I thought, well the remaining donuts didn't look welcoming, so I ordered two Apple Fritters. Long story short, Both Apple Fritter's were burnt, as soon as I bit into it I knew there was a problem, I didn't even bother giving my daughter the other one. So the donuts are fresh and a good flavor. However.... The selection is very limited EVEN if you come early in the morning. I've stopped into the shop maybe about 5 times within the past two years because it is the only place to get donuts in the area other than Safeway, and it's always the same. Very limited variety, and never enough. Coffee is also overpriced. There's literally a Starbucks next door cheaper. It was already pretty late for me eating breakfast but I still wanted it. But then it dawned on me...Benicia doesn't have a lot of breakfast anymore. But my friends recently had a conversation about that new(it's not new) donut shop that's in Benicia now. What a perfect time to try this place out?! So this place is nestled in the back of the plaza where Napoli's is. There will probably be parking when you go. Ive lived in Benicia for 30 years and I've never seen this lot full. But as for the donut, I really liked it. For a minute it reminded me of this one donut place that was in the Raley's shopping center years and years ago. It was soooo good. It's not like I hadn't had a really good donut in years. No. Far from it. I think it's just that the only donuts Ive ate up to this point were Krispy Kreme and Vegan donuts which are well and good but what happened to just a good ole fashioned donut? The owner is very kind. Others are not so kind. I bought 2 cake donuts, one raised glazed and one crème filled maple (not a long bar). Came out to $6.75. There wasn't much cream inside the crème filled. I also noticed the old fashioned donuts shrunk. I won't be going here anymore. The only plus is the location. Both were delicious. I can't really explain it, but the donut holes had an amazing flavor to them, were warm/soft on the inside, and no over-glazed. I recently moved to Vallejo and I'm exploring the many stores and restaurants the city has to offer. I stopped Daily Donuts about 9 AM on Sunday 9/11. I had a day full of projects ahead of me and I wanted to start the day off with some fresh made donuts. The shop is tucked away in the corner of a small stip mall. There were no other customers. The display case was practically empty. There was a very meager selection of donuts on a Sunday morning. My companion and I purchased two each and after we drove away we realized we had been over charged. The donuts themselves were delicious. Well made and very fresh. The local safeway may have a bigger selection but these donuts were better. I'd add another star if they had more donuts to choose from and if they actually charged the prices on the menu board. read more

I stopped by on my son's birthday to get him a special birthday treat. There are two signs outside; one says they open at 6am, another says 6:30. I waited until 6:30 and then went to the door. There was a woman inside, the lights were on and the door was open, so I went in. She very rudely told me she wasn't open. I apologized and said I thought they were due to the sign and the door being open. I turned to leave and she said again that she wasn't open. Very well .....I was on my way out. I won't go back. I had very good donuts from Royal Jelly in Vallejo instead. I recommend locking your door and updating your signs to reflect actual hours of business. read more

This is a pretty nice donuts shop in Benicia. The place looks clean and open, few tables are there for customers who like to dine in. I thought the donuts we're dry and stale when I first see the donuts but I was wrong after I took a bit of it, it is moist inside and delicious. My only complaint is the exits of the mall only allow you to turn right, so it takes a little extra time in driving. Overall, I will definitely go back to try their donuts in different flavors. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh donuts here! The glazed ones were huge and clearly proofed and then some. I always support locally owned businesses like this one. My only suggestion is that they should consider changing their frying oil and separating frying savory with sweet. (since most of the Winchell's have closed) Pre covid I would stop in on my way to work and bring the crew a dozen. They are always fresh, dont taste greasy. They are not overly sweet or heavy (or even highly processed tasting) like some of the chains (Krispy cream, or voodoo - yuk and more yuk). The owner is super nice. I'm an old fashioned glazed donut kinda gal. Daily Donuts old fashion glazed are soft and moist on the inside and have a nice structure/crunch on the outside. Their cake donuts are on point as well! I have come in a couple of times - once in the morning and after 3 p.m. There is a nice selection moreso in the morning. The owner is super nice and welcoming as well. The shop is situated next to a nail salon and Napoli's Pizza... a bit easy to miss but look out for the signs when entering the small parking lot. I'd come here every morning if I could :) read more

I have driven by Daily Donuts several times and finally gave it a try this morning. I'm sad it took me so long as I was clearly missing out. I think there is certain standard of donut shops we have all come to expect living in this area and Daily Donuts breaks that mold.
