I purchased a dozen donuts I believe it was $17 for a mix. Sadly they were not nearly as fresh as I remember which is the soul reason I loved this place. I really hope to try again as they have such a large selection and even a couple tables if you wanted to eat inside. This donut shop has been a Vallejo staple for a very long time and I've been following him around ever since I was a little girl. They now have a favorite of mine that I only come in for I don't want to mention what it is because then it'll be sold out LOL. Softest freshest donuts and just the right amount of frosting that also taste wonderful. I love the chocolate bars and twists. The only downside is they don't take card they take cash only that's kind of hard to do now in a cashless going society. Keep up the good work. read more

It's been a while since I've come here, last time I did, the donuts were decent. The only issue is they are never open when I am nearby which is usually in the late afternoon going into evening. Royal Jelly used to be a 24/7 hangout were you could grab coffee and donuts at any hour, not they are only open during certain hours everyday. read more

I would've said this place was AWESOME. They have EXCELLENT customer service, they know folks an are trying to get to work, no attitude, just pleasant. Unfortunately, I saw a very large cockroach skitter across the floor in front of the counter first thing in the morning. It was pointed out by another customer who was letting me go ahead while saying, "Im still messed up about seeing that that roach." As he pointed it out. I just could not un-see it. Don't get me wrong, food establishments will sometimes have. Pests. Yeah. But if they're out and about where guest can see them, it's a problem. I grew up going to the donut place next to Safeway on Admiral Callaghan - it was part of my childhood. Well now that place is closed so I had to find a new place. I live in San Francisco and I'm always in Vallejo to check on my parents and I can remember these people being around since my kids were babies and now their grown adults,nothing never change about the taste or freshness maybe location but never the donuts.
