I paid $20 for Spider Man balloons and they blew away within 30 seconds when I tried to get them in my car because they did not attach a weight to them. I've never bought balloons without a weight??? Apparently it's an extra charge which by the way no one offered or told me about. I asked if I could get another set or get a refund and the manager looked at me like I was crazy and said no. Apparently once they get out of the store it's not their problem. Never mind the fact that even though I managed to hold onto one of the ballons it just slipped off the sting anyway because it wasn't tied properly. Such a massive waste of money and horrible customer service. They can manage to pay 4 employees to stand around in the front of the store and talk to each other but they can't spare a few cents to give me replacement balloons? Been coming to this location for years and everyone but the printing department is helpless. If you have questions about any electronics and they don't have a technician on shift, the manager will just look at you and say "I'm sorry I don't know anything" with the most awkward face like ??? how are you the manager I get it, its just a job to them and they probably don't care but like how are you gonna be the manager and be helpless and just let customers walk away like that. The right thing would be to be like "I don't have a technician and I don't know much but what was your question maybe I can help". I never write reviews but I'm over coming here & getting no help ever. Hubby and I went to this store after 8:30pm last night to have copies made of our Christmas letter. We were told that the order would be ready Monday afternoon. The clerk took my information and said he would put the delivery time for tomorrow so the overnight people could work on it. The next thing we knew, he put the paper we provided in the machine and made our copies! He said he didn't want us to have to come back. There's no other customer waiting and this guy is telling me I have to come back tomorrow...then said one hour after saying I please need it now multiple times. So I popped into Staples to get some blueprints printed in color for my landscaping business, and they accidentally did them in black and white. I'm always on a tight schedule, so I was a bit worried about the delay, but Jose at the print studio was awesome. He spotted the mistake, fixed it right away, and totally saved me time. I've done returns here's and you'll wait in line then a person come to the line to pay and leave us mid way to help them as if we can't see others employees fleeing to not help whether that's here for returns or checkout. NEGATIVE 5 s. Do not se this store for Amazon or UPS drop off. You will wait 20 minutes whether there is a line or not. Most employees will walk past you while you are waiting and not acknowledge you- including the manager. (There are two amazing female employees.) I do not need or want a welcome when I walk through the door, but it would be nice to be given an estimate of how long the wait will be. Never enough staff as most are in their phones- looking like they work in hell, which they may be given the friendliness of the manager. No idea how Staples stays in business- they are always way more expensive than anywhere else. read more

Bought an office chair that didn't have a price listed in the display. The cashier lied to me and told me he was giving me a discount, so that the extended warranty would be free. During the checkout when I asked him about the $299 price, and said I would prefer that price without the warranty he again lied and said that the $299 price was the discounted price. This is my go to staples location. I usually come here to buy boxes since they have great deals when you purchase 5+ boxes, normally under a dollar each, this is great if you have a small business or are a reseller. I recently purchased a laptop and was not satisfied, however, staples made it easy for me to come in and exchange it for a new one. I paid the difference in price and waited a day while it shipped. If you buy a laptop you have 14 days to exchange or return. Every time I've been here I've been helped by a different employee and each time I have had great customer service. I use their app to earn points and it comes in handy since I come here often. In addition, if you have old ink, toner, or electronics you can bring them here to be recycled, you're a rewards member you earn points just for recycling, pretty cool. read more

As a profession, I've been in the printing, marketing, and advertising industry most of my professional career so I seldom needed to use Staples, Office Depot, or FedEx services as I had those services in house wherever I worked. Since retirement, I no longer have accessibility so I rely on the aforementioned companies for those services. Staples is located near me and lately I've needed to use their printing services much to my pleasant surprise and satisfaction. I recently needed to download forms to fill out and mail out using USPS to do so. The companies I've needed to do business with required printed forms to be returned to them as opposed to online forms that could be sent electronically. I thought this was going to be very inconvenient and would incur some heavy costs, but that wasn't the case. Staples copying/printing services seem to be very reasonable and easy to do yourself. They have made it very easy to just go in and do it all yourself, at very reasonable prices. Thumbs up from me! read more

On 1/12/2025, I couldn't use my computer; I used the little knowledge I have to make it work. No luck. I then, took my computer to Staples in Santa Ana that morning. The store manager, Andres, assured me that they were going to work on my computer as fast as they could. That same evening computer was repaired. Computer had acquired two viruses. If I could give 100000 stars I would. We had been trying to take passport pictures for our kiddos. My son was having sensory behaviors and was not responding well to the camera. We tried to just print our own pictures edited to fit the passport criteria. Danny in the printing department went above and beyond for us. He downloaded my sons picture over and over again until it was just right. He didn't have to put that much effort but he did, and for that we are super appreciative. Thank you Danny! read more

"Overload of page printing!" (Amateur's) I have been coming here for several years, and the stores customer service seems to be getting worse every month. I went just to get some documents 40 pages of documents printed and they printed them on a single page! They did not double page them, and the contrast on the print came out blurry. I called to talk to the manager by the name of Danny Lopez (hoping he gave his real name-pm shift 8:06pm 2/6/2023) and he only offered to reprint double sided but that I wouldn't receive a prorated amount. So he was gonna charge me for half of printing for the full existing printing price. Never coming back here again, I do not recommend this store I'll stick to UPS printing. read more

So disappointed. I had gone in to print some invitations the first time, where a kind gentleman had started helping me. They must've been understaffed though because he had someone from another store finish helping me while he went to help a previous customer. This women misinformed me about a poster they were advertising in the print section. I wanted a welcome poster for my baby shower in two weeks and thought it would be perfect. I asked her the cost and how soon it could be ready. She said same day pickup around 2 if I came early enough. Well I shouldn't have taken her word for it. I came in the day before my shower and some lady there tells me those are outsourced and take 7 days to deliver, at least. The other options they had would be ready end of next day, at the soonest. And that's all she could offer. Well that was so frustrating, because by then, even the option for Amazon signs was out of the picture. So sad. read more

I also placed an order online for a plastic sign holder and was able to pick that up in store at the same time. I've accumulated a decent amount of e-waste over the years including old computer components, mice, keyboards and cables. This Staples is the best place in Tustin to recycle it for free. Just drop off your e-waste at the service center and you're out in two minutes. No need to wait in the checkout line with everyone else. Not sure how the rest of the store is, but I'm sure you can get whatever other office supplies you need here. Parking is easy, plenty of spaces in front. I would just note that this plaza can get a little hectic if you're near the Raising Cane's drive thru. It is totally weird to review a Staples, but super glad that they provide free e-waste recycling. The only con is that they close at 6PM on Sundays, so don't procrastinate if you're running weekend errands. read more

During this times it's crucial to be as clean as possible. This place is so dusty it looks like it hasn't been cleaned since before the pandemics start. There is dust everywhere that I even broke out in hives and had itchy eyes and an itchy throat. I have been in this store trying to figure out why a document hasn't printed(my doing) since being on their computer I have been non stop having to stop coughing. Please clean up guys.. I had excellent customer service at this Staples location 17th st near Tustin Ave, Santa Ana in the printing department! The young ladies names were Celeste and Jillian as they went beyond and above to help me print some images I had not a clue how to do! I had to do some down loading on an additional app and Iam not the sharpest tool! They were so kind to keep checking on me to make sure I was doing it correct and I was ok! I sat there well over an hour as it was a challenge. Both girls were very professional and personable !!' I needed the images by that day and they helped me make it happen as it was not somthing done all the time their efforts to figure it out was unbelievable!! You just don't get that kind of service these days anymore not to mention they were so friendly and didn't make a big deal of the challenge! I recommend everyone to this location if you need somthing printed! I would also recommend driving the extra few miles to this location as well because it will save you time in the long run!!
