Don't waste your hard earned money with this location. The team associate and manager does not care at all about helping with online orders. I placed an online order on Monday, June 8th and the item noted "24 hour delivery" to this location. 3 days later on June 11, I called the store to ask for an update since I had not received an email indicating the item was ready for pick up. After being told the item was not available I then asked for an update on when I would get the item. I mentioned the fact it was scheduled to arrive two days before and that did not matter at all. Finally I asked for the manager and he told me there was nothing that could be done at the store level and I needed to call the online store. I understand sometime online vs brick and mortar are not connected and there may actually be nothing he can do about this item. My thought as a manager you might be a bit more empathic and offer a solution or gesture of kindness. Recap: First - No order Second - lack of empathy from employee and manager. Third - Purchase from another store and picked up the same day. Forth - Have not been issued a refund for the cancelled item and was told by the online store the item that was scheduled to arrive in 24 hours in now missing in location, so until they find it I will not get a refund... Be forewarned... if you're making copies, you use a credit/debit card to pay. AND it will hold $5.00 on your account. I went in to make a return for something I bought online because I didn't have a printer at home and couldn't' print the shipping label. So I go in... and what should have been a super simple transaction, took me almost 30 minutes. I won't get into all of that.... Just know that they made me pay to print out the label, which I was told would be about 19 cents. But the printer failed to print properly, so we had to do it again. I checked my bank account today and I have TWO $5.00 charges from Staples. I called - and was told that the way it charges, it puts a hold of $5 on your card, like a hotel might do. WHAT? So now within 24-48 hours it will adjust. And I Will Have Had To Pay For The Copy That Didn't Print Correctly!! 19 cents... it's just the principle. I don't have time to babysit literally every single thing I do in life. Staples stinks... Their Website stinks... Their payment methods stink... and so... I called their number today (Sat 5/30/20) at 4pm with questions about a laptop that was on sale on their website. I was looking to see if they had it in stock so I could do curbside service. The young kid that answered the phone put me on hold like five different times because he didn't know what he was looking for and some girl was helping him help me. He said that "it showed there was one in the store but he had to find it." he asked for my phone number and said he would call me back within half an hour. That was at 4:30 and it's now 8 o'clock. I never heard from the guy. I went online to buy the computer and now it was back at regular price which was $714, sales price was $599. I called the store and they're closed. I went there to print a simple three page school paper and was so disappointed with lack of customer services so I walked out of there without my paperwork printed. I waited in line to get a printout but then the lady tells me I can use the automated printer myself so I ended up going try to use it only to see they were not functional! So would have to wait again and ask for help! Even the worst customers don't deserve this! But as soon as I look at their rating it all made sense. Today I came to drop off my UPS package here at Staples since the official UPS store down the street closed early for Sunday. Kylee was so helpful despite my circumstances. I didn't have a shipping label with me since my printer broke and UPS gave an option in the email to have them scan and print at a UPS shop. Unfortunately they didn't have that special scanner to do it there since it was a branch of UPS within a Staples store. At the end of 2023, I was running low on ink. I had some ink cartridges in the printer which were not Epson cartridges. I wanted to replace them because they were clogging the printer and I wanted to replace them before I ruined the printer. I bought a set of Epson ink cartridge (black, magenta, blue, yellow). That cost me about $96. I put in the cartridges. I printed out a test sheet. The Magenta did not print. I thought that I had already ruined the Epson printer by using cheap cartridges. I cleaned the cartridges hoping the red would print. I cleaned the cartridges nearly every day for a month. That used up all the ink in the red cartridge. I was ready to just go out and buy another cheaper printer thinking that I had ruined the Epson $400 printer. I decided to buy a Magenta Epson cartridge for $12 on Amazon as a last ditch try before I went out and bought a cheaper Brother printer. Low and behold, the Epson printer that would not print red was now printing red. I went back to Staples to see what they would do about reimbursing me for the $12 + Tax that I had spent at Amazon due to the red cartridge in the 4 pack that was faulty. I showed them my receipt and their red cartridge that never worked. They said "Where's the box". That was it. I paid $96 at STAPLES for the exact same thing that I could have purchased at Amazon for 2/3 the price. I had the receipt for theirs, I had their bad cartridge, a month's worth of frustration. And I was out $12 plus Tax and Staples would do nothing about it because I didn't still have the box their cartridges came in. read more

Staples vs. Office Depot Hopefully this comparison will help you to answer questions like: "Should I go to Staples? Or Office Depot?" +s: 1. Staples offer many paper choices at different price tags. I specially like the sample paper racks. Staples allows buyers to actually feel their papers before purchasing. The thickness, weight, glossy or semi-glossy, smooth surface or rough recycled surface of the papers can be determined at the site. No worries of driving back to the store for returning when you mistakenly purchased the wrong surface or weight of the papers. 2. Bright white indoor lighting. I don't think this can be a huge factor for shopping or not shopping at Staples, but in comparison to Office Depot, the bright indoor lighting is a positive thing. It helps buyers to locate items easily. I'm not saying Office Depot's lighting was pitch dark, but much dimmer than Staples. Perhaps they're "Power Save" mode or something. -s: 1. In contrast to Office Depot's store hours, Staples opens at 9 in the morning. Office Depot opens at 7AM during the weekdays. Early birds would prefer early store hours. 2. Difficult to locate what you want to buy. Office Depot has big signs to guide the buyers to go directly to the sources without wandering around in the store. I needed to buy a printer. The website said that the one I was looking to buy was in stock at the Glendale store. To be sure. I called the store to verify that they did in fact have the printer and was told that they did. So I drove over there. While there was a display model, it turns out that they did. It have the printer. They then tried to sell me a more expensive printer. I declined. I asked if I could buy the display model. I was told that the display model was not in fact a functional printer and that there were no actual parts inside of it. I said "Really? Let's open it up and see if that's true." and they wouldn't do it. So, the website said they had a product in stock that was not actually in stock. I was lied to over the phone to get me there and try to upsell me. I was then lied to yet again about the display model not actually being a real printer which was really just some next-level-jive-ass-baloney. Staples dropped the ball at every possible step. I've been here a couple times now and every time I've been here the staff has always been over the top helpful and friendly. I love it! They will stop what they are doing to help and assist...and go above and beyond. In my most recent visit, Lidia over at Printing was stellar. I could see she was able to help multiple people at once an she was was so calm. I get that there are customers left and right needing help with the copy machines and help at the desk and then there's me, who had an order sent via online. i typically have a good customer service at staples every time i go. this time, i wasn't too happy about the service i received on Sept 16 & Sept 17. i have been working on a booklet for a project for the past 4 months. i was having a hard time submitting it via online and the way i want it for printing. so i decided go into the store to talk to a staples rep. i arrived around 4pm. the person i talked to said she couldn't help me since she was leaving at 5pm and had a printing job that need to get done. she told me to send it to the email and didn't give me any further instructions. i was confused since i wasn't sure if i submitted the printing job. so i asked her if i would get a notification for when the job would be done. she responded that the link is good for 24 hours and that i could come back the next day. so i came back the next day, thinking that i submitted a printing job, only to find out i didn't. then as we proceeded she told me that she couldn't perform the job since it was single pages and she couldn't make a booklet with it. i would have to redo the entire template to fit it into a booklet. i informed her that i had a printing job done before at staples that i was told i could not have a booklet template for printing. hence why i created single pages for printing purposes. she became defensive and almost argued with me. frustrated as i was, since i had made 2 trips here and didn't have the time to redo the whole booklet. i felt if she took the time the day before to properly explain to me about the process then i wouldn't have wasted my time going back and forth. unfortunately, because of the miscommunication, i am unable to provide these booklets for my medical trip this week. big disappointment. i don't expect to be returning to staples. read more

I have only 1 complaint about this Staples store, but that complaint is a deal breaker. The most important attribute of any business establishment is its trustworthiness, and that's where this one falls down. I went to buy a yellow cartridge LC2011 for my fairly new Brother J88ODW--where I saw a prominent sign over the counter saying that all ink is always in stock, and if not the customer would get a $10 discount plus free shipping [no exceptions stated]. This was not in stock, and I was encouraged to let the store order it for me, but without any discount, because it's "never" in stock. BUYER BEWARE - iPhone screen replacement. Took my iPhone 6 in for a screen replacement. Aside from the broken screen the phone was working perfectly up to that point. Within minutes Staples' screen was failing. On the third return visit to the store they damaged the Home button, disabling the touch ID and causing the phone to black out randomly. It would also lock me out for periods of time. Staples solution was to send it out for repairs that I was promised would take 3-4 business days. Although I took my phone back to them before mid-day on a Monday, they didn't send it out until the next day. Five days later, on Friday and after business hours, Staples called and said the phone couldn't be repaired. They offered me a new phone which I learned is used and refurbished. "How soon can you get it to me?" "Five business days," was the answer. Going seven more days without a working phone wasn't acceptable so I made the reasonable request they return my phone in the interim, having it to me by the next Tuesday morning. That would have been one week ago but it's yet to show up. The replacement I was promised? Haven't seen that either. What I am getting is the run-around. IT HAS BEEN SIXTEEN DAYS. One person from the corporate level--Heather, who seems to work their social media accounts, has contacted me but only after I raised the issue on Twitter. Huge shoutout to Bree in the copy center! I went to have brochures printed for a school project today, and due a few technical issues, I was running extremely behind. I was already late for class by the time I get to Staples, and then the files I needed were nowhere to be found on my USB Drive. Enter Bree who saves the day. She quickly helped me recover the files via Google Drive (luckily I had thought to also save them there) and even though Staples doesn't have the ability to print full bleeds, she was managed to expertly cut the brochures to look as they had originally been intended. This is a review for the UPS office in the Staples Store in Glendale. Although my comments on the service and attitude of the team applies to both. If there was a rating lower than 1 star, I'd pick it. I came in to ship a jug and six glasses. Not only did no none help me pack the shipment, (I packed it myself with materials I bought from the store), but even simple things like tape were grudgingly offered. Since I haven't packed breakables in several years, I grossly underestimated the level of wrapping needed to get this thing secure. That's on me. But i'm frustrated by the fact that the UPS guy WATCHED me pack fragile materials and did not even offer the most basic suggestions... Like "Mark the box 'FRAGILE'" or "Do you want to insure this?"
