Not impressed. I wanted to try this place for sometime so I was excited to go here tonight. We did not have a reservation as we decided to go last minute. There was a 45 min wait. That is understandable as the place is very small. Luckily there were 2 seats open in their waiting section, and the man that delivered us drinks was nice. We were sat at the bar. Apparently my husband agreed to this. I would have preferred a table but the wait was 20 min longer and it was already after 9pm. They sat us literally in the kitchen. It was hot as hell and I was sweating and miserable. The male bartender was nice. The female bartender I found unpleasant. She never smiled and just seemed kind of arrogant. She also forgot to put our steak order in. At least 20 min after we ordered the steak we ordered a small plate which came out and was finished at least 30 min before we asked where the steak was. She said oh, you are ready for the steak? She said since we ordered the small plate she told them not to send out the steak. I call BullS*** because before the small plate came out she asked the chef where the steak was and they all kept glancing at us and the plating chef made a comment about the bartender not putting the order in. But yet no one started to actually cook the meal until I asked for it about 40 min later. The Steak and especially the salad were way to salty and there were so many whole peppercorns. Drinks were good. Another sever or food runner was nice. This is the part that really pissed me off. When I ordered my dessert to go I watched them pack it up. The guy making a massacre of my dessert in the to go box actually stood there in the kitchen for the whole restaurant, and me, who was watching him, and ATE SOME OF MY DESSERT!! If you are going to charge me $9 for a dessert, you better not eat it in front of me!!! That's some balls. And then he stared me down because I said something to the bartender who asked him if he ate it. His response was yeah, he tasted it and then shrugged his shoulders. I watched him eat a couple spoonfuls. Which, if you do that in the front for all to see, what are you doing in the back kitchen?.... The food wasn't cheap. Due to the bartender not sending our order and not even apologizing and finally that guy "tasting" my dessert will definitely not bring us back. read more

My fiance and I agree - this is the best restaurant we've been to in Raleigh. We've been twice in the last two weeks, and we'll definitely be back. Both times, we've started with the fried green tomatoes. There's a lot of dressing on the greens, but it works well with the fried tomatoes and the burrata cheese. The first time, I had the Tagliatelle (the mound of fresh grated cheese in the pictures sold me), and it was everything I had hoped. The second time we went, I had the Pork Schnitzel (they actually ran out of it the first time, so I figured it must be good). It's a huge serving of pork, but it's delicious. The cucumber and avocado works well with the fried pork, and I would definitely get it again. My fiance had the scallops both times, and let me tell you, they are like butter. Paired with carrots and a pistachio vinaigrette, it was some of the best scallops I've ever had. Food is good, drinks are delicious, and the service is great. AND - dessert next door at Escazu is pretty convenient. read more

Don't walk run to this place. The food and service was off the charts amazing. Get the bone marrow! Phenomenal...

Intimate atmosphere. Unusual menu. Awesome cheese plate. Great drinks from the bar... little squares of chocolate with the check made by the chocolate location next door - nice touch, and I bought $20 in chocolate after! read more

The best restaurant in Raleigh. Get everything. Especially the 40oz high life. If it's date night, stanbury is the only answer.

Stanbury was a real treat and a great surprise. We had never been to this neighborhood restaurant before but heard good things about it and decided to give it a try. It, like Pooles Diner, doesn't look impressive from the outside, but like Pooles Diner, you can't tell a book by it's cover! Once seated the food, drinks, and service were outstanding! We can't wait until our next visit to Stanbury. We had a party of four and each ordered different entrees and all were fantastic. I'm sorry that I didn't know about this gem before now but I'm glad I found it. read more

Here for a celebratory dinner and y'all it definitely lived up to its reputation. The Crab Au Gratin was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Seriously, order it... you won't regret it. The Peach BBQ Pork Chop was the best I've ever had. It takes some talent to cook a medium pork chop really well and you could cut through it like butter. I practically licked the plate clean! As if the food wasn't enough, I can't help but rave about the service. Our waitress was friendly and so attentive... even to my husband who needs his water glass filled every 5 minutes. One recommendation would be to ask to sit towards the front because as you get towards the back of the restaurant, the lighting is pretty bad. I could barely see my husbands face. All that said, we will definitely be making this a go-to for date nights in the future! read more

The food here was really good! We ordered the famous crispy pig head and grilled romaine. They definitely hold the reputation! If you think they're just as easy as the names sound, then you are wrong! There was an egg in top of the crispy pig head, as well as many beans and pork belly small chunks. It was covered by mustard as well! The running egg and mustard added a complex flavor to it! So delicious! Definitely my favorite the night! The grilled romaine had smashed olive and some canned fish on top, as well as a lot of cheese! Absolutely yummy! Just a little too salty for my taste. The toaster on top of the romaine was also delicious, but very oily (be careful)! My husband's favorite for the night is the lamb chop. We were warned that it's medium rare and we are totally fine with it. It was well flavored, very tender! Not chewy at all! The quality of the lamb was very good! It was also of the right seasoning and salt level for me! The beans inside were also really soft and full of flavor. The beans obsorb the flavor from the lamb and the tomato sauce! I skipped the bread ibside, as it's really greasy! Mexican corns were also good! Just a bit oily for me, but perfect for most Americans. My husband also enjoys his drink. It was very orangy. The dessert, chorcalate tarte, has peanut butter ice cream and chocolate cake! Perfect for my husband and me get what we want (he likes peanut butter ice cream and I like chocolate). In general, the food here is really good! They are good at mix the flavors of different food together and make every fish has a complex taste. There are three reasons I gave it 4 stars, but not 5. First, we were seated at a table next to the door and the window. It was really hot for a while! And I could fill the sun and the heat through the window blade! I had to use the menu as a fan to cool down! I read a review from Google complain the same seat being too cold in the winter. I think they should avoid letting people sit there! Second, it was TOOOOOOOOO loud inside! I had to speak really loud to let me heard. My throat felt very uncomfortable after the dinner, even though I kept drinking water! Third, the service was slow today, maybe because it's Friday night. I can understand this. So it's not a big deal. read more

Solid chef talent and thoughtfully sourced local ingredients as well as a knowledgeable and pleasant front of house staff make for a very pleasant dining experience at Stanbury. There are so many delicious things on the menu that it's hard to narrow down your choice, but if the grilled octopus with chipotle mayo is around, I highly recommend it. It is cooked to succulent perfection and then lightly charred and tossed with tasty spring greens. Local North Carolina softshells are fried to a juicy golden brown and served with a "ramp ranch" dressing for even more NC flair. A dish of spring asparagus also made deft use of the open kitchen grill to put some deep flavor on the crisp young spears before covering them in hazelnut brown butter, lemony Hollandaise and a fat, golden-yolked duck egg. A dish of thick, rustic cavatelli with a savory-sweet-umami sauce of roasted tomatoes, pork, raisins and cocoa had a satisfyingly firm chew and layers of well developed flavors. Don't skip dessert either; their lemon pound cake with lemon curd, macerated berries and a decadent dollop of whipped goat cheese cream is amazing. The beer and wine list as well as creative cocktail infusions with fresh house made syrups are well chosen to pair with the delicious food. Pro tip: if it's a warm evening, ask to enjoy their outdoor seating, which is a great spot for people watching. read more

Service was outstanding, best I've had in a long time. Food came out promptly and staggered, so we wouldn't have more than we wanted at once, drinks were always filled, and the staff we extremely nice and welcoming. We had the duck pastrami, grilled bone marrow, beef tartar, and crispy pig head. Duck Pastrami: OUT OF THIS WORLD phenomenal. Tons are very complimentary flavors, well cooked, and beautifully matched. One of the best dishes I've ever had out. Highly recommend. 12/10 Roasted Bone Marrow: Was tasty, and a great experience; not a dish you can find everywhere. I recommend spreading the marrow on the bread, then adding the arugula/caper salad on top, then dashing with the sea salt they give you. 8/10 Beef Tartar: Wasn't my favorite dish, but wasn't bad. I enjoy Tartars in general, but something just rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe the siracha sauce on the dish? Or the nuts? Not sure. I'm not a fan of nuts in my food, so I might be biased. 6/10 Crispy Pigs Head: I was expected an actually pigs head/half a pigs head, something of the sort. Then we bit into it and were still disappointed. Texture was not ideal, too much mustard/sauce on it. The fried exterior was great, breaded nicely. But that's about it. The wierd texture of the inside mixed with the mushiness of the mound of lentils it was served on just didn't pair well. 2/10 I still give a 4/5 for the duck pastrami and the services. Would definitely go again to try some other, new dishes! read more

Best restaurant in Raleigh!! Truly one of the best ambiance! The food is always killer with drinks to match!!!

Interesting drinks and imaginative dishes at Stanbury. The green bean salad with Green Godess dressing had smoked fish as a bacon substitute, and used Durkee-styled fried onions, house made, on top as an accent. Great mix of flavors, and the beans were perfectly cooked. Good service, a nice crowd buzz, and Paul Simon's Graceland on top made for a nice evening. read more

Wah wah.... talk about bummer. Food tasted fairly well overall... service lacked tremendously. Walked in on Friday night, plenty of open seats at the bar despite the lack of tables available. Menu is appealing, 4+ stars acquired.. super excited for the Stanbury experience.... wah wahhhhhh Male bartender was semi attentive, seemed a little wet behind the ears. My roommate and I have been eyeing Stanbury for a while now. We picked this place for a friend's going away dinner. Their reservation fills up quite fast. I called on a Tuesday (or was it Monday), and the recorder said their dinner reservation is all filled for the entire week! We arrived at around 6:30/6:45 on a Wednesday, and the place was busy. We were told that the wait for a table to be around 2 hours. Luckily, there were two seats open at the bar, thus the three of us decided to grab a drink and wait there. While waiting for our other friend and our table, we started with some of their cocktails. By the end of the night, we pretty much sampled everything. The Grand Baja was very interesting. It had many layers of flavor. I really enjoyed both the partly cloudy and stanbury gin tonic. I love strawberries, and Stanbury gin tonic was light and refreshing. The year of the horse was also very good. They even had a horse design on the egg white. The night started off with good drinks, and it continued to wow us throughout. We ended up eating at the bar, since we could not get a table. It actually worked out quite nicely, because we got the corner of the bar for the 4 of us, so we could keep a rather intimate dinner. As per the bartender's recommendation, we decided to get 4 appetizers and 2 entrees to share. It was the perfect amount! The place had a rustic feeling to it with the open kitchen and many heads mounted on the wall, but the dishes were elegantly put together! We got grilled romaine, crispy pig head, roasted carrots, steak tartare, grilled pork chop, and chicken. The most memorable dish was the pork chop. We were all blown away by it. It was very flavorful with just the perfect amount of fat to keep the meat tender. We ate it off the bone because it was that good! Everything else was also very good. The guinea hen might be the only one that was a bit disappointing. It was a bit dry, but the side that came with it made up for it. We ended the night with coffee chocolate creme brule. It didn't really have that smooth texture of flan, but more like a mousse. Nonetheless, it was the perfect touch to finish the night. A little hip cup was that in the beginning they only placed our small plates order and not the large plates. Thus we had to wait a while after we finished our small plates. Since we weren't in a hurry, we didn't find it to be too much of a problem. On a side note, someone took my roommate's polka dot umbrella :( Other than that, it was a lovely night! read more

We love Stanbury, but of all places that 'take' reservations, this is a place where we have come to realize we really NEED a reservation. The bar is small and people tend to linger, so even with their expanded patio and waiting area, reservations will make your evening a little more enjoyable. Perfect place to share small plates. read more

Stanbury had me at "chef formerly of Asheville's The Admiral," one of my favorite restaurants of all time. And it didn't disappoint. The good: creative, sophisticated, meat-centric small plates and entrees. My companion and I stuck to the small plates, so we could explore the menu. We enjoyed an arugula salad, simply but perfectly dressed; soft shell crab, lightly battered and fried, then served with a Thai-inspired dressing - probably my favorite dish of the night. Next up: bone marrow, served with crisp grilled bread and a delicious parsley and caper salad on the side. We scooped the marrow with a spoon and slathered it on the bread: heaven! This marks my first marrow experience - but not my last. Finally, our last course: General Tso-style sweetbreads. This dish is straight from The Admiral's playbook. I am a sucker for sweetbreads, and they were perfectly prepared, though I have to say the General Tso sauce may be a bit too sweet for my liking. However, the sweetbreads were my friend's favorite course of the evening. Although I was already about to explode out of my dress like The Hulk, my friend ordered two items from the dessert menu: a Coke float, which included bourbon along with the soda and ice cream, and a trifle. We both found the cake in the trifle a little too dry and dense, but the mousse was delicious. Stanbury has a great cocktail menu as well - I highly recommend giving their specialty drinks a try. On the downside, on a busy weekend evening, the house is LOUD and feels a bit cramped, so don't go expecting a quiet, intimate experience. And DEFINITELY make a reservation in advance. It's in the space formerly occupied by Market, if that helps provide perspective. However, is it worth it for a unique dining experience featuring creative cooking and cocktailing at a surprisingly reasonable price? Yes, yes it is. read more

My husband unabashedly gnawed on our appetizer attempting to extract the last remaining bits of bone marrow. It was that good. Marrow seems to be the new pork belly... I've seen it trending on Instagram feeds and featured on a few local menus lately (including Death & Taxes and Primal). This was our first introduction, and it's safe to say we're fans. The marrow is quite rich, spoons out and spreads like butter over toasted bread. They give you two bones here, which means we each had a 'bone to pick' AND both of our dogs were able to enjoy the spoils afterward; thanks, Stanbury, for the literal doggie bag! Our other app, the ink octopus, was so incredible I don't have words to describe it. The surprising flavors and textures of both starters left us a wee bit disappointed with the entree we opted to split: a fish prepared Thai-style with rich coconut milk and jasmine rice. It was still tasty (featuring bright flavors and flakey fish), just not as standout or original as everything else we had. My cocktail was a light seasonal selection, subtle and refreshing. Place was packed and a little loud, but service (except for the hostess, a surprising anomaly) remained friendly and prompt. It's a fun off-beat space, a bit small & bustling, with oddities like Yoda decorations lurking about. Our check arrived with two squares of neighboring Escazu chocolate -- a super-cool (and tasty!) gesture to their neighbor. With the frequently updated seasonal selections ensuring a menu that remains full of surprises, this is one restaurant to put on heavy rotation. read more

One of the really great restaurants in Raleigh. Wonderful to sit at the bar and eat. Perfect service. Beautiful food that is as good as it looks. Thanks to the chef and a fabulous staff. Tops! read more

This was easily the best meal I've had in Raleigh. The (apparently ever-changing) menu seems like it was ripped out of my brain's list of favorite foods ever, and the overall experience was just so pleasant. While I enjoy getting dressed up as much as the next guy, I really appreciate a restaurant that focuses on delivering great food without being stuffy about it. The ambiance and decor at Stanbury are wonderfully casual. You're not gonna feel out of place in jeans. That said, there's nothing casual about the food, or the bar. The cocktails were delicious and original, and even better- they were served to us in a separate waiting/cocktail area so we didn't feel like we were crowding the folks eating at the bar, or fighting for attention from the bartenders. We did end up eating at the bar, which was something I'd actually recommend. We had a fantastic time interacting with the bar staff who were absolutely knowledgeable about the food and had pairing suggestions for each dish. The Bigeye tuna crudo was one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth, and the crispy pig head was a phenomenal, savory bowl of love with perfectly cooked lentils. Don't skip the post-meal coffee either. read more

I had an absolutely amazing birthday dinner here! The food, the service, the atmosphere! It is all great! They do not have a very big dining room, but it makes it feel cozy and the décor has lots of character. I love that they change their menu daily. The menu is even stamped with the date! Since we went on Cinco de Mayo, you could tell there was a hint of Mexican influence to some of the dishes. It makes me curious to see how they switch up the menu next time we go. I'm already ready to go back! But first I'll tell you about this meal... I started off with one of their cocktails, the El Nino. It was basically a margarita and it was delicious! We also ordered a couple of small plates to start. The fried oysters were juicy and the sauce that came with it added some great flavor. We also tried the grilled romaine salad, since we saw lots of reviews about it. I have never heard of grilling a salad before, but I enjoyed it a lot! I ordered the Pork Milanesa for my entrée and ohmygosh it was amazing! The pictures I saw on yelp did not do the portion size justice. It was huge! Another thing I really enjoyed about Stanbury is that they give you lots of greens, which not only adds a lot to the presentation of the dish but also to the taste. My pork was piled with fresh greens and lots of avocado. I can't emphasize enough how amazing this pork was! Then there was a creamier sauce that came along with it and a sauce that had a little bit of heat. So there was lots of contrast, but it all worked! If you have read any of my other reviews, you know that I am a huge fan of dessert. But I was so full that I was planning on skipping it. BUT since they knew it was my birthday, they brought out a Chocolate Torte for us and I somehow found some extra room to devour it. It is super chocolaty, but I didn't find myself getting sick of the richness, because I think they sprinkle on some sea salt to help contrast the sweetness. Kudos to Stanbury on this excellent dessert! Actually, kudos to Stanbury on the entire meal! While the meal was expensive, the flavor, the portions and the service was worth every penny! We will be back! read more

My wife and I ate at Stanbury last night, 2/20/2014. First, the space is great, the only thing I didn't like was this coffee table out on the deck that looked like it came straight from my grand mother living room. Love my grand mother, but wouldn't put her furniture in a restaurant. Guys - get a new coffee table. Second the staff were all very nice, a little slow, but very very nice. Ok, now with some of the things that could be improved. First, get a hostess stand. For as much as I hate to herded like cattle, every restaurant needs a hostess or host stand, so people know where to stop and don't just wander through the restaurant or stand at the door and look lost. Second, having worked at some higher end establishments, the tables need to be flipped much quicker. Third, get the temps right on the steak, ordered a rib-eye med rare, it came a hard medium to medium well. Sorry, just no excuse for this. Working in the business and being a part time culinary student, get the temps right on a streak, period. Now those are the issues that need to be improved. My wife's entree was perfect, she had the scallops with a lamb chop starter. She literally cleaned the plate. I started with the pig head, it was a little of let down, braising a pigs head, pulling out all of the heady goodness, all great, but then is is breaded and fried, served over some bland lentils with arugula. This was combined with a duck's egg cooked sous vide, love this technique, this should be expanded to other items, but the egg ended very flavorless and just kind of gooey, I would rather them use a regular chicken egg, let that yolk flavor enhance the dish. Now the flavor was still good, but it just needed something. I apologize for sounding negative in this review; however, this place had a great vibe, and I will be back to try the rest of the menu. If these guys can tighten up on the service and some of the quality, this place will dominate. read more

Heard this place was "the best dinner in Raleigh," which I found hard to believe given all of the awesome restaurants downtown (and Ashley Christensen). Decided to give it a try for my dad's birthday. Everything was cooked perfectly -- I've never had scallops so silky or a ribeye so tender. The coolest thing was that when the kitchen said there was a mixup and there'd be a bit of a delay on our main meal, our waitress brought out two additional small plates for us to eat while we waited (without us even mentioning the delay). Then after we got the rest of our food (and were stuffed!), they brought the four of us three of their desserts, completely unprompted! These days, customer service seems a lost art. It seems like business owners are more interested in being right than in having repeat customers. So we appreciated that the Stanbury brought out extra food for us while we waited. What will turn us into loyal customers is that they did so without us even lodging a complaint. One tiny mark against them is the salt level -- the scallops were so DIVINE! but I could hardly tolerate the salt level on them. read more

Wow! My friend and I were in town for a girl's weekend and Stanbury was recommended to us. We were able to get a reservation for a Saturday evening and it was great! Service was excellent! Hostess Izzy, very nice. Salad was top notch, the olive side was amazing. Tuna I found fair. Bread excellent. Steak very flavorful. Scallops sides ok. Other dish's too spicy for my tastes however excellent flavor profile. Overall a nice place to go with friends, tables not on top of each other, music not too loud. Never felt rushed to leave, and they held the table while we were running late. The one thing I would change is making the chairs more comfortable, the avg table is an hour an half I'd presume a little too long for such chairs. We were there for three hours lol read more

It kills me to write this one as I have had a number of wonderful meals at this new hot spot. However, if your going to hire an over the top rude hostess and oblivious bartenders, you kind of deserve to get torched. Hey Stanbury, this ain't NYC. You start being d-bags to your customers and you will end up as another flash in the pan restaurant. "Hey, what was that place called that was good for a year then disappeared...?" "You mean the place that it took 30 minutes to get a drink and the hostess was a crack?" Guys, good food and a cool painting of Yoda isn't going to carry you long term. You treat customers like crap and they, like me, will stop spending money at your spot. Fire your cranky hostess, hire another bartender and I may be back. read more

Sooooooo good! I went for the first time for a girls night out and I am so glad we chose this place. First if you didn't know about it you might not ever know. It's tucked away on Blount Street away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. I would highly recommend reservations because it is a small place and doesn't seat very many. It's first come first serve at the bar. We didn't make reservations and were told it would be at least an hour for a table and maybe half an hour for the bar. Luckily someone canceled their reservations and we were able to get a table sooner. When we sat down we were immediately told about the food and drinks. We had a hard time deciding on what we wanted to eat because it all sounded delicious. I decided on the tagliatelle while my friends split a few small plates one of which was the sweetbreads. My pasta was delicious!!! The pasta is homeade and the flavors went so well together. I tried the sweetbreads as well as the other two small plates and each one was equally as scrumptious. I could have eaten the sweetbreads all night. We were also able to try the oysters which had a great flavor to them. At the end we were treated to a dessert of apple pie which was like a bread pudding accompanied by a side of rosemary ice cream. I was a little wary of the ice cream but it turned out to be a fabulous combination. Needless to say we rolled out of Stanbury full and happy. I would highly recommend this place. It is definitely worth the price of the food. read more

I am so glad I tried the Stanbury Friday night. I was in the mood for something different and suggested it to my friend. She called and attempted to make reservations earlier in the day but they were full. We decided to show up and try our luck. The place was pretty busy and we were quoted an hour wait. No problem. We were in no rush. We were just about to grab a drink from the bar when the hostess told us she had a spot outside, though it was a bench and coffee table. We took it happily and it turned out to be the coziest (and probably quietest) spot in the restaurant. Perfect for catching up. Stanbury has an interesting menu consisting of small plates and some select entrees. I hear they switch it up fairly often. We ordered some dirty vodka martinis and four small plates. The martinis were perfect! We started with the green beans, a very interesting dish consisting of crisp green beans, smoked blue fish, green goddess dressing and red peppers. Yum. Our Gnocchi came soon after. Oh wow this one was our favorite! Delicious bolognese sauce! Probably the best I've had. After that we had Steak Tartare. This dish was interesting.. I still am not completely sure what I think about it. I thought the steak seasoned with the berbere was different and tasty however this was my first time trying injera, a spongy, yeasty flatbread, and I just didn't love it. We also ordered the Duck Breast with field peas, duck egg and arugula and that was amazing! I think the soft boiled duck egg and the little bits of bacon made that dish. We couldn't leave without trying dessert and settled on the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Pot de Creme. Does this even need explanation? Wow! I am still craving it. All in all, I really enjoyed everything about Stanbury. The service was friendly, the food delicious, and the atmosphere inviting. I can't wait to try some of the other menu items. read more

I took my girlfriend here on a hot date and it was unlike any restaurant we have been to in Raleigh. Although we showed up without a reservation, there just happened to be a table right by the door that no one wanted to sit at. Well, we jumped at the opportunity and were seated immediately and the evening just kept getting better. The cocktails were delicious and each one had its own unique twist. We started our meal with some Sweetbread (which truthfully I thought was actual bread but ended up being parts of an animal). Very different, but also delicious and the shaved salmon on top gave the illusion that our plate was moving while we ate. For dinner we split the ribeye with mushrooms and brussels in a brown sauce (some sort of gravy) and to this day my mouth still waters when I think of that dish. It was cooked perfectly and the presentation could have put even some of the top steakhouses to shame. We finished our meal with the Apple Cake baked in a little mug, just the right amount of sweetness to counter the savory of our meal. Hands down this has been the best restaurant we have eaten at in a while and we will definitely go back. (By the way there is this incredible metal Yoda sculpture in the outside seating area that one of the owners created) "Eat well you will!" read more

Well this is quite the hidden gem tucked away in a neighborhood. Reminds me of up north where that happens a lot. Very cool and very eclectic atmosphere. Very big city. Sat at the bar because we had no reservations but to be honest I'd prefer that here. Watching the bartender nay mixologist create these drinks was like performance art. Also the wide open kitchen same thing. It was SO refreshing to be in a place without a stupid tv!! On to the food. Here's what we all had. .. Smoked blue fish - amazing Grilled Caesar salad - incredible Bibb salad - refreshing Cheese plate - stellar Fried oysters - crispy and light Bone marrow - weird but the guys loved it Sweetbreads - ditto. Grilled sirloin - tasty but overdone IMO Scallops - simply divine Mahi Mahi - just ok a bit tasteless Chocolaty coffee creme brulee - OMG It's definitely different. In a very good way. But if you're not the adventurous type you may not like it. I loved it and can't wait to go back when the menu changes which apparently it does frequently. read more
