    The potato salad

I ordered delivery from them last night I wanted a few sides for a dinner I was having as I had to work late I ordered all side in 16oz but when delivery came it was just individual not enough for what I ordered so I called and they were so rude the cook told me basically they weren't going to fix the error and to top it all off the collard greens were burnt and they tried to add sugar to hide it there was way too much mustard in the potato salad and the candied yams were horrible this is the last time I will try and support this restaurant they don't care about the customer or the food they put out a d the cook there is very rude . That is clearly not 16oz in the pictures

This place can be missed with the blink of an eye. It sets next to a car repair place and a small apt complex. Just wanted to try something. I decided on a 1/2 pound of Rib tips! They are one of my favorites if done right! The tips were good. Only thing I can say is I did ask the young man at the counter if they came with sauce already on them he said No! It will be on the side. I actually didn't want any! Okay that will work. 15 minutes later i got my Rip tips and they were fully sauced! Eyeroll! Oh well they were still pretty darn good. I just wanted to try the seasonings they use to start off the meat! Next time I will make sure. No sauce

Was supposed to be a 3pc all white chicken dinner.

Or did three-piece fried chicken meal all white meat. When I checked my order, it was six or seven little chicken wings. I let the counter know I ordered fried chicken, not wings and paid for all white meat. Was told only Stacy can issue refunds and she's not there. Beware if they are wrong they will not make the order correct and you're out of luck on your money. Besides that the cornbread and wings were so flavorless as was the yams I threw it in the trash when I got home. The banana pudding feels like robbery... It was a container of banana pudding with a few wafers thrown in. I have been following Stacy's on Instagram for a year and their troubles at different locations and really wanted to give them a try and post a solid review but it's actually the worst takeout I've ever had. In the fact they didn't tell me they were subbing and aren't able to refund anything is beyond words. Diners beware

I visited this place a few days ago for lunch. I've passed by it a few times and seen that they had good reviews. I was in the area, and decided to give them a try. Everything on the menu sounded good. So, it was hard to pick what I wanted. But, I decided to go with the 3-wing meal with two sides. For my 2 sides I got fried okra and Mac n cheese. I was pleased to see fried okra on the menu, as you don't see that often on menus. The meal also came with a cornbread muffin. No drink though! You gotta order that separately. While waiting, I looked around and listened to the music. He was playing artists like The Isley Brothers, The Gap Band, and The Temptations. I really enjoyed the music. I reminded me of when I would dine-out with my grandparents. So, it was a very homey feel. The TV was also on, I think Law & Order was showing (something my grannie always watched lol). But, my meal didn't take too long to make. There were 3 people ahead of me; it took maybe about 15-mins to get my food. The man that was taking the orders also served me my order. I'm not sure if that man was the owner or not? He was the only person there... So, I'm assuming he was the owner lol But, my food was hot and ready! Everything was cooked to perfection. I'm picky when it comes to fried chicken, so I rarely order it at restaurants I haven't been to. I would instead get chicken tenders or something "safe" like that. But, I figured it was a black-owned restaurant, so, it should be good! Lol and I was right! The fried chicken was a 5/5! Nice & crispy and great flavor (I didn't have to put much hot sauce on it, as it tasted good as-is). And, the fried okra and Mac and cheese were great as well! I'm just really glad I liked the fried chicken lol because like I said, I'm picky when it comes to that. So, I would've been mad lol but I was a happy camper! The meal was a good portion of food. So, I had food to-go! I thanked the man and told him that I loved my meal! He was pleased! But, I'll definitely be visiting again!

Just tried this restaurant since my husband has been wanting to go to try the ox-tails. He was very happy. The greens were good. Loved the okra. Cornbread muffin is good. We'll have to give this one another visit and try some more things.

I also ordered catfish and shrimp, collard greens and green beans. My drink was the limeade and the red velvet cake for dessert. Fried chicken was not exceptional and the batter was too thick and not really flavorful. Rice gravy was good and the Mac n cheese was decent. The catfish was good and I would order again. The shrimp however were over battered and not memorable. My favorites that hit the mark were the collard greens, green beans and the limeade. I will be ordering all of those again. The big disappointment was the red velvet cake. The multi layered slice displayed in the online/ kiosk menu looked phenomenal. What I got was a a large price of a sheet cake. It tasted good but not the same as a multilayered round velvet cake would have tasted. Overall, I will go back to try the smothered pork chops and bbq items.

Comfortable, sorta on the dark side. Classy. As I was not driving today, I decided to try their smoked Old Fashioned. Excellent -- and the dark cherries they use are the perfect addition to the cocktail. (The glass is coated with smoke from a smoldering piece of pecan wood, and the cocktail was served with a cloud of smoke under a coaster covering the glass.) The pig sickles ( ribs) were the perfect chance to make a pig of myself. Had the two meat plate, pig sickles and barbecued pulled chicken, If you like corn, you must have the side of corn with your dinner. The barbecue beans were delicious. Our server did a magnificent job tending to our drinks, appetizer, and food orders -- despite being very busy (the place was packed! -- and seemed like she was in constant motion. Very nice individual who liked la Prices? It was expensive, but the best barbecue always is. Eating isn't cheap. It was well worth every dollar spent. All in all, it was a perfect dinner. The perfect parting gift: a small paper bag containing four small donuts, coated with cinnamon. Our bag didn't make it home... I think we've found the perfect place to bring our family and out-of-town guests for dinner.

I had the Tri-Plate Chicken ($25). It consisted of green curry, Caribbean BBQ, and Jerk. The spice is a gentle warmth that pervades the upper body. There are plenty of knick-knacks and wall art to satisfy your curiosity while the main guy cooks an unbelievable lunch. This is a family owned and operated restaurant. The son is funny and quick to lend a helping hand. Everything is served in to-go trays, which is a nice touch considering the portion sizes. Don't forget to tip!!!

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The food took about 30 minutes to come out, which would have been fine if the quality matched the wait, but it didn't. Overall, I'd rate the food a 2/10. The oxtails had little to no flavor, which was the biggest letdown. Honestly, the best part of that dish was the potatoes. Gravy was watery and greasy. The cabbage was actually good and had decent flavor, but the VEGAN mac and cheese was completely tasteless and lacked seasoning. We really wanted to like this place, but based on this experience, we won't be returning.

I usually loathe what some people call American food because the vegetables are overcooked and the food is under seasoned, but this place was perfect! We started off having the Frito pie, and the chili was just spicy enough with Fritos, cheese, and onions, and it was just a great, great dish. I remember this dish from my old neighborhood. I had a cocktail that was made with whiskey, lemon, and some other things that was incredibly refreshing. Then I had a chicken-fried pork chop, and this was so good, so flavorful! The gravy was wonderful! I added a little pepper to it and a little bit of the juice from those peppers in the bottle, and it made it perfect. This came with fried potatoes, which were wonderful, and green beans, which were stupendous. The green beans were not cooked in the usual lousy American style but were shiny, taut, crunchy, with just enough give. The almonds added to the deliciousness. Some of the best green beans I've ever had in my life. The pecan pie tasted homemade, and I wolfed it down. The restaurant itself had a kitschy old West theme with tons and tons of signs and pictures up on the walls. It looks like the kind of place that you'd probably drink beer, but the fact that they had great cocktails and great everything else really made it shine. Our server was friendly and very attentive.
