If we could rate this business a negative number we would!…read more We had been working with the manager to reserve a the larger of 2 rooms in order to conduct a large business meeting with about 20 of our consultants on Monday the 14th of September 2026, at 7pm. Red Zone agreed to provide the space for free as long as we ordered food. Which we happily agreed. When we got there and explained who we were, they showed us to a space that was not closed off and there was a great deal of ambient noise as well as that space was not able to accommodate our group without negatively impacted our business meeting nor the other customers in the cafe. When we explained to the 3 waitresses that we were promised the larger and more secluded room, their response was "well, we gave it to another group. If you don't like it, you can leave..." My wife and I were stunned. Never have we been so disrespected by someone in a customer service position. Needless to say, we won't be back. And my wife was a loyal customer for decades! Not only did you lose a 20 person table that would have provided a LOT of revenue and tips, we will ABSOLUTELY make sure everyone we know, hears about how awful Red Zone Cafe treats customers and groups. I highly encourage people to stay FAR away from this business. They are not even remotely customer friendly. You need to do better! Have the day you deserve!

Logistically there is both amble parking and space inside for groups of all sizes. Very simple inside and sometimes that's all you need. The service was spot on, even if a bit on the slower side for how busy they were. We weren't in a rush, so not a big deal. They were accurate, attentive, and very friendly. The chicken fried steak was delicious, and cooked perfectly. Their gravy was very nice as well. Eggs cooked correctly and had browns crispy. All I could ask for there! The french toast was good but not great. I'm not sure what it was that they coated it in but it had a bit of an odd crispy texture that was almost like it was pik-nik sticks (for lack of a better comparison), and while it wasn't bad, tilt wasn't my favorite. Overall it was a very positive experience with a delicious breakfast!

I decided to eat a good breakfast while getting some major admin work done and went to Chicken Run. I ordered the Hiker's Benedict since I was specifically craving Eggs Benedict. But being neurosparkly has its challenges that show up in the weirdest ways. While I have a very open palate and can be a total foodie, I can get very weirded out by textures. So when my meal came with all of the toppings chopped up into small cubes, I simply couldn't enjoy it. The waitress asked about it, and I told her it's my own weirdness and not to worry about it. They still took the meal off even though I fully planned to pay. I don't share this so that people will abuse their kindness, but so that people will know that this is a business with heart. At a time when I'm feeling like especially sensitive about being too much, this little thing meant so much to me. I will absolutely return here. Thank you, Chicken Run - Lubbock.
