I just went to order a burger and fries to take home after work. I sat at the bar top to order to go, and I had a tall beer as I waited. The burger took 25 minutes. I figured thats why it was so dry. Because it was done very WELL. I asked to have it a little pink, not so DONE! Then she asked if I wanted all the vegetables....I guess that just meant the piece of lettuce, a tomato slice and two onion pieces. I told her I wanted mayo and ketchup only. I found like 3 packets of mustard, mayo, and ketchup in the bag! So, are we to not only pay & tip them, but we are to put our own burger together? The only thing good was the fries (although a little too salty)....and the very OVERCOOKED burger. No wonder irs a bar, you need to drink all that beer to wash down the DRY OVERCOOKED BURGER PATTY! NOT IMPRESSED. Its just a burger and a "show" kind of place. Twin Peaks has a much better burger than this place! Even Burger King has better burgers...save your money, don't go here unless you just need to boost your ego, (I mean, its your tip, for the view)...lol Dry burgers. Get rid of the cook! read more

On March 29, 2026 my wife and I went to your Bombshells Restaurant at 6407 6415 Spur 327 Lubbock Texas, a visually appealing spot. Got 96 tv's!!!! There being about 20-25 people there, how was our meal prepared with no culinary attention to detail? For example: my wife ordered the chicken fried steak, mash potatoes and salad. Her steak was so "bland and lukewarm" that it literally removed all sensitivity of taste from our tongues..., no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. On our drive home that's all me talked about. Mash potatoes were likewise "lukewarm and bland"..., then factor in the gravy..., exactly the same. Her plate obviously sat at the window too long or perhaps her food was simply "sitting there" waiting for us to order it. Her salad: there was nothing "green" about it, it was "all the white stalks" of the lettuce, literally 4 olives, a sprinkle of shredded cheese, 3 half slices of tomatoes with "gigantic croutons (that was interesting)". My "blackened chicken salad"..., salad was the same as my wife's; double-dang because I love salads and being type 2 diabetic and having high blood pressure this would have been the perfect meal for me. HOWEVER; the chicken was the worst ever because it was saltier-than-a-1820's-sailor..., horrible..., and drier than a camel's hump in the Sahari. I never knew that a chicken breast could be abused like that on purpose. So, how does such a nice looking place sell someone "absolutely ridiculously horrible food". read more

It's brand new, so it's clean and fresh inside! Our server was very attentive and did a great job. The food was just AVERAGE and the kitchen still loaded my wrap with ranch when I asked it be kept on the side. I'm sure the longer they are open, it will improve (communication, quality of food etc.) read more

One and done for me. After being seated it took 15 minutes for a server to come and take our drink order. We ordered the full brigade burger and the recruit burger. The full brigade was supposed to have avocado with no onions and tomatoes. It wasn't close to being correct, and the onion strings were cold. The recruit is just a plain burger and it was overcooked. The onion rings order is very small and they weren't good. Also, the kitchen is apparently out of salt and pepper for the burgers no seasoning at all, and you have to ask for mayo, mustard and ketchup. The salsa leaves a weird aftertaste and the chips were stale. It's a sports bar so it loud, and the booth was uncomfortable. In summation, I did not enjoy this experience. read more

Only one item is worth ordering. The bombpopers. On the appetizer menu. The drinks are extremely expensive As is the food It's almost not worth going, but that one appetizer is worth it. It doesn't really honor us vets it just seems like an expensive twin peaks. $40 for an appetizer and a drink. Fml. read more

They bayonets were quartered pickle spears cut into thirds and fried. Not what I was expecting as a fried pickle. Prefer pickle chip style. B-17 wings: first of all these are the meatiest wings in all of Lubbock (5 ). Got 12 and did half buttery garlic parmasian and lemon pepper dry rub. Garlic parm was basically dipped in buttery garlic with shredded parmasian cheese-not really a fan, but the lemon pepper dry rub was awesome!! The one thing I would definitely recommend is don't water down the ranch dressing for the wings. Service was very good even with a packed house. Ambiance was good for any sports fan. I wanted to write our review a couple days ago as this was our first time visiting the new restaurant We think it's an Amazing place for a quick dinner.The prices are reasonable due to inflation you know everything is a bit pricey these days.Our sever Amor was kind and great at keeping up with our drinks when we needed refills we didn't even have to ask The AC isn't much of an issue anymore they seem to have smalls portable ones all over the restaurant so it's not bad at all Overall was a good experience for me and my husband however the food itself could use a bit more attention my nachos weren't as great as I'd hope but my husbands burger was great so it's just a hit or miss with the food, will return again. read more

Ate here for the first time. Didn't want to go, but when the older kids want to go, we go. Restaurant is neatly decorated. That was the first thing I noticed from the outside. I'm not stupid- I knew what I was going to see when we got in there. And I saw plenty. In fact, I had a burger with a side of nipple. Our waitress about pulled out her whole tit when asking if we needed more beers. Another "waitress" was dancing up on a guy. I told my family we'd be lucky to get out of there without being shanked- felt like there was some sketchy stuff going on. I hate that's my feeling because the food was actually really good. Service was all around bad. Food was mediocre, majority of it came out room temperature. Everything tasted like it was frozen and then not warmed up enough before being served. Gala was NOT a good server. Rude. Had to ask for things twice. Bad attitude. The food was horrible. Not warm. Shrimp was cold and rubbery. The fries were so salty that we couldn't even eat them. The food was excellent. I had the grilled salmon with steamed veggies and French fries. My wife had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Excellent food. The wait was a little long. But the young ladies taking care of tables were very nice. They were courteous and kind. We were a little surprised by their dress. I didn't expect them to wear little short skirts like that were very showy. The ambience is WWII aircraft but more like a large sports bar. Food was really good. Our service was a good as it's trained to be. The waitstaff is chaotic and a person can see and understand that they need quite a bit more training. We sat at the bar and saw lots of mistakes in food being brought out twice for the same order and some definite chaos. Good vibe inside. My sister and I went there. We got seated immediately and were handed menus. No water, no waitress even acknowledged that we were there, and the place was not busy. We saw 3 waitresses stare at us, but none came over. 2 men walked in, got seated, and the server couldn't get to them fast enough. After 15 minutes, without even someone saying, "I'll be right with you", we got up and walked out. We had servers walk right past us, and never ever asked if we needed anything. It's horrible service (and yes I complained as we were leaving and were told very cheerfully "thank you for coming.") Over priced restaurant with music so loud it's trying to be a club, but you can't dance or hear your table conversation. The girls are typically rude but a few are nice. Sat at the bar, bar wasn't full. Took over 6 mins to be acknowledged even while the 3 bartenders were at the register I was sitting by. Although I was behind the beer tabs I was leaning over in front of register. I finally got a beer but wasn't offered a menu even though I was there to eat. Well after an excruciating first visit the third day they were open and finally Priscilla responded to multiple phone calls everything had been handled very professionally and very nice so we got to eat there again and they offered free food and free appetizers but the bathroom was clean this time it was cool in the restaurant and we've had great servers every time we went the last server we had her name was Tessa and she was a very very sweet girl and handled everything very well I appreciate you Tessa get ready for football season read more

I'll start by saying that I had no idea what the concept of this restaurant was! I was traveling alone and stayed at the hotel across the street from Bombshells. I was tired and very hungry from a long day driving and just wanted a quick dinner. Imagine my surprise as a woman, when I walked into Bombshells! I'm pretty sure I was the only woman in there at the time. After I realized that this is more of a men's hangout, I really didn't care. My hunger and exhaustion told me to sit down. I'm so glad I did! The young ladies working there got a good chuckle out of my "mistake" and did not hesitate to make me feel comfortable and welcomed. I quickly got over my discomfort and enjoyed an ice cold $3 beer and a delicious hamburger.
