    B-17 wings
    Michael B.

They bayonets were quartered pickle spears cut into thirds and fried. Not what I was expecting as a fried pickle. Prefer pickle chip style. B-17 wings: first of all these are the meatiest wings in all of Lubbock (5 ). Got 12 and did half buttery garlic parmasian and lemon pepper dry rub. Garlic parm was basically dipped in buttery garlic with shredded parmasian cheese-not really a fan, but the lemon pepper dry rub was awesome!! The one thing I would definitely recommend is don't water down the ranch dressing for the wings. Service was very good even with a packed house. Ambiance was good for any sports fan. Military discount 20% for veterans & active duty personnel.

Great place, kind of reminds me of Hooters environment thou, differently not for kids!!

Places was WW2 designed, food good great selection of Beers ! Only thing I would hesitate to take young kids in this restaurant. Waitresses remind me of Hooters. JS!!

Burger was seasoned and cooked how I prefer it. Beers were awesome. Service was fast and attentive, and the vibes were right.

Listen up, this place is new (opened late Nov 2024) so they are still working out the kinks. I say this because there are two reviews on this place that mention negative things. IMHO I think thus far they are excelling and will only get better and better. We need to give them grace as they learn and grow. ***So please READ MY REVIEW and ignore the 1 stars.*** The food we ordered was tasty, affordable and came out quickly. Drinks for the entire table were on point. Shout out to Chet who will gladly curate a drink for you if you are not sure what you want. Oh and did I mention 237 is located inside? 237 is Speakeasy located inside of Soggy Dog (at this time 237 is open Thur-Sat nights). 237 has it's own vibe and drink menu. PRO TIP: Enter Soggy Dog through either of the double set of metal doors. Yes you are at the right place. I will take pictures of the entrance on my next visit.

The chips and queso were an appetizer but came out with the rest of the food. Queso was extremely burned so I asked for it to be removed from the ticket; instead, they replaced it with spicy broccoli cheese soup. Okra and fries were not cooked all the way through; seems hard to mess up food service frozen food, but here we are. The hot chicken sandwich was made with chicken so tough I couldn't cut it. The hot sauce was nice, the salsa was decent. My giant mug of beer was flat but at least it was cold. Overall: poor food, slow service. Was hoping for better.

We started out with the mozzarella logs and the devil's on horseback. 10 out of 10 on both. For the entrées, we ordered the boom boom shrimp tacos and the ribeye sliders. I couldn't believe how tender the ribeye was in the sliders. They were so good. For dessert we had the mini beignets and the bread pudding. I think the beignets were better than the ones from New Orleans. They were so soft and warm. Yum! My Husband compared the bread pudding to the one at the Dave Ramsey restaurant in Las Vegas. The ambience was cool of course. It's a sports bar so you hear everyone's excitement from football. Pretty cool location if you ask me. I highly recommend if you're in the area or live in Lubbock.

From the moment we sat down, she made the entire experience amazing. Alyssa was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely attentive without ever being overbearing. She knew the menu inside and out, offered fantastic recommendations and made sure everything came out fresh and perfectly timed. Even when the restaurant got busy, Alyssa kept her cool with a smile and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell she truly cares about her guests -- it's rare to find that kind of energy and professionalism all in one. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and thanks to Alyssa's outstanding service, it turned a casual night out into a memorable experience.

Tons of TVs everywhere, lots of standing-room-only tables. A lot of outdoor and bar games to play. It's a huge place and very loud - definitely not family friendly, so I'm not sure where other reviewers got that idea from. Also, parking is a nightmare and you will likely end up having to park in a neighboring business's lot. The orders for drinks and food are incredibly slow. Bartenders will straight up ignore you if you don't look or act a particular way, plus they're kind of dismissive and rude in demeanor when you do finally get service. It's all fit for a particular group of which I am not actually a member, it seems. But a friend wanted to visit for his birthday so I went to entertain his request. I would not personally go back here of my own accord.
