Truly enjoy my experiences here. Chet during the day is fantastic. Chris at night is great as well. Great service, great food, great drinks. read more

Automatic 5 stars because they have a GOOD Shuffleboard. I love me some shuffleboard. This new place not only boasts a shuffleboard, they have pool tables, a few arcade games, a gigantic stage (think Karaoke, Comedy and Music), LOTS of seating, good lighting, big screen wall-mounted TVs and we have not event talked about food or drinks yet. Listen up, this place is new (opened late Nov 2024) so they are still working out the kinks. I say this because there are two reviews on this place that mention negative things. IMHO I think thus far they are excelling and will only get better and better. We need to give them grace as they learn and grow. ***So please READ MY REVIEW and ignore the 1 stars.*** The food we ordered was tasty, affordable and came out quickly. Drinks for the entire table were on point. Shout out to Chet who will gladly curate a drink for you if you are not sure what you want. Oh and did I mention 237 is located inside? 237 is Speakeasy located inside of Soggy Dog (at this time 237 is open Thur-Sat nights). 237 has it's own vibe and drink menu. PRO TIP: Enter Soggy Dog through either of the double set of metal doors. Yes you are at the right place. I will take pictures of the entrance on my next visit. read more

What a disappointment. We were ignored for our first 10 minutes, then after ordering, the food took a half hour to come out. The chips and queso were an appetizer but came out with the rest of the food. Queso was extremely burned so I asked for it to be removed from the ticket; instead, they replaced it with spicy broccoli cheese soup. Okra and fries were not cooked all the way through; seems hard to mess up food service frozen food, but here we are. The hot chicken sandwich was made with chicken so tough I couldn't cut it. The hot sauce was nice, the salsa was decent. My giant mug of beer was flat but at least it was cold. Overall: poor food, slow service. Was hoping for better. read more

Amazing food and just the best service. I had the beef quesadillas, and absolutely no regrets. Very cool place to be, and the ambiance in the speakeasy in the back in second to none. read more

Great atmosphere...good music playing Menu is good. Food is a good idea, but over two to three times there, it's been hit and miss with some still being cold inside. The most frustrating part about this place is that I really, really want this to be my new place, but the service is TERRIBLE. We got our first drink after 45 minutes the last time we went but the order was wrong. It's never very busy, but the wait staff just disappears. The bathrooms are ALWAYS bare of paper towels and toilet paper. I'm hoping all of this is "working out the kinks" but it really seems that shift managers are not paying attention. read more

We stopped by to check out this place. Heard about it and I was curious. We ordered cheese fries with jalapeños and bacon. Fairly priced for the taste. Typical bar and grill setting with great service, mind you, we sat at the bar. The lighting was surprisingly brighter than expected but the staff dimmed the lights after we were there about 20 minutes. I guess they wait for further into the night to adjust the lights. There's a pool table, shuffle board and arcade games. One thing I wasn't able to figure out is what entertainment they have there and when. read more

The bar in the back is the best thing going. The shinning decor is way cool. Tim the bartender out did himself. We will be back!

Tried this place out since they were a new local bar and grill. Really good food. Love the chips and salsa and the wings! Staff were really helpful and the vibe is real casual. The hidden bar room in the back that you have to use an old school pay phone to get into is sick!! If you're a fan of the shining then you have to check it out. Also the drink menu is different than the upfront bar. It's my new favorite spot. Go support local. read more

Soggy Dog - Soggy dog - Bars Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Atmosphere is amazing, you have a sports bar feel in the main area with pool tables, cornhole and golden tee. The speak easy in the back is much more sophisticated vibe as well so the contrast is perfect. Service was quick and responsive and all the the staff was very friendly. The food was a 10/10 I've ordered quite a few items and have yet to be disappointed. Highly recommend Soggy Dog and will be going again! read more

Went for lunch the other day and ended up coming back a few days later with friends. The food has been great and the remodel looks awesome.

What an awesome venue. There is something for everyone- games, karaoke, sports, great food and the posh speakeasy is top notch! Excited to see all the cool live music they have in line up. Service went above and beyond to treat our group right and made delicious cocktails. read more

We had a wonderful experience. The Texas twinkies and chips and queso were amazing. Chris was the best bartender. He was the attentive and made us some surprise drinks that were so good! Could not recommend this place more! Coming back soon and telling my friends. read more

Sat at the bar and had a great time. Food was great and cold beer. Chris and Chet are great and easy to talk too. Give it a try.

Amazing food and drinks and a Great atmosphere! The Service was spot on also! Definitely recommend!

Terrible service made mid food not worth it. Would have loved to try the Texas twinkies but I think they are still being worked on in the kitchen. When the food did come out, one dish was cold and the other was incorrect, we sent it back and it came out incorrect again. On the positive side they serve alcohol. Will not be back read more

Oh where to BEGIN. The servers and bartenders that they now have as of 05/17/2025 are all absolute trash. For one you have people whom have been rehired who are known around the industry to be drunk, and give away everything free of charge. They are claiming to create a better environment but there's a reason these people who were let go should have never been allowed to return. Talk about going down hill QUICKLY and hiring|rehiring people whom have been let go from every other environment in which they have worked due to their unprofessionalism. Go if you want the trashiest service ever now. If it was possible to do zero stars that would be it. THE OWNERS SHOULD REALLY LOOK AT THE PEOPLE THEY HAVE REFLECTING THEM AND THE ENVIRONMENT. I'm not sure what the owners are thinking or the direction they are going in but SAVE YOUR MONEY and find service that is worth it. Bartenders and servers are too busy playing around and on their phones taking pictures to even serve their customers and FORGET YOUR DRINK not once but 3x before they can serve you properly. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME nor do people seem competent enough to serve properly. read more
