Don't know this PM bar but back in the 80s O'Malley's I spend pretty much all my allowance on beer with good friends. I even live in the apt behind it. Noisy but what a blast. Go Raiders. read more

Good food and good price on drinks. Fun dive bar atmosphere. I'd recommend if you'd like a more local feel instead of the college vibe I'd recommend checking it out. read more

5 star dive bar for sure!! Excellent service food and drinks!! More importantly the bartender made sure to give me all of my shiny quarters!! Most people would keep them as a tip but not this guy, as honest as they come in the industry! read more

Great bar. Only one complaint... The bartenders hate the customers here! What is their problem? They act like they are inconvenienced by a customer asking for a drink. The bar back had an incredible attitude problem. read more

My favorite place to meet friends for a drink and a bite to eat. Great live music and the friendliest bartenders. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. read more

Bar Pm - Dive Bars Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Stopped in while in town because of the wings and yeingling beer and let me say they didn't disappoint wings were spot on and beer was ice cold!! Price was very reasonable. Will definitely go back. read more

In town and decided to check this place out due to the great reviews. Very unfriendly bartender jacked up prices on well drinks and will not be coming back. read more

Think of a Bar with wooden tables and chairs. The bar is slightly aged and full of character. The specials look tasty and there are plenty of fried options. This is that bar. This is that charming lovely typical bar. They have daily specials and live music. They seem to have a normal following of regulars based off of the one time I visited. I hear that on the weekends it gets crazy crowded and is a really fun time. Beware, this is across the street from campus. That means parking is slightly more challenging and you might see some students here. read more

I always enjoy this place, the staff is amazing and remembers everything I drink! I come in with the staff always with a smile, and happy to see me! This is the best place you can go with the best food options! The best thing to eat is the "best burger ever"! David, is super awesome! As well as Joey, Jared, Tye, Scott, Wally, Steve!!!!! Huge Kudos! I have been coming here for 10 years and they still remember me!!!! Love this place! read more

I've been to Bar PM, on several occasions and what I found to be most inviting is the casual, low-key atmosphere. Unlike other bars in the neighborhood, this bar wasn't always full of undergraduates or the like. But this afternoon, the service I received from the tall, bearded, stocky bartender--whom I'd never seen before-- was completely unacceptable. I headed there for lunch with my coworker for a beer and a snack. We sat at the end of the bar. There were less than ten people in the bar, yet the bartender never made his way over to us. Instead, he sipped on his cup of water, and made small talk with the cook in the back. A small group of people entered and also sat at the bar and he immediately helped them out. When my coworker and I tried to get his attention, he completely ignored us. I will never return to this place again. And I hope the owners, Paige and Michael, see this and fire that guy. I'm definitely going to share my experience with the faculty and staff I work with so they can avoid that place. read more

The bar tender was so rude. He accused my ID of being fake for no reason (I am definitely 23) and then proceeded to talk about me to his friends that were sitting at the bar. Don't go here it's full of sexist jerks. read more

Went there on a crazy home game night and the staff was on point. I saw them constantly cleaning up bar glasses, as well as picking up broken glass from right under the patrons. Since it was a home game TTU won, you can imagine how drunk and crazy the crowd was. I was definitely impressed with their cleanliness and fast service. read more

This is the most horrendous bar in Lubbock. Literally go give your money to a prairie dog instead. It's smoky and ugly and they discriminate to people that they don't want to serve. Management is rude also. read more

seriously underrated food here. go with black and blue burger, jerk chicken tacos, or the wings. good: TV layout for sports watching Some very experienced bartenders working the usual domestics plus St. Arnold bottled generous pours on wells room for improvement: door staff - apathetic to crowds at times. could do a better of bouncing undergrad riff-raff I know there isn't very much room but draft beer options would be icing on the cake some weekend nights just way too crowded with the undergrad broadway crowd read more

Great lunch specials, if your on campus and need a cheaper lunch option would recommend I'm a bigger guy this but this place always fills me up with any special. Staff is helpful and friendly. 5 stars for lunch only drag is smoking read more

This is definately a hidden jewel in Lubbock. The food is amazing and at great price. Eclectic drink combos and shots. Highly trained bartenders make getting a drink at night easy (plus there are two bars!!). Go early if u want to catch the awesome bands. read more

Awful bar staff. For such a small bar a decent bartender should be able to run it flawlessly without breaking a sweat. But all too often the bartenders are married to their phones and completely ignore their patrons. Ordered food there about a week ago. Was standing between the bar and the kitchen window and saw my food sitting there for almost ten minutes. The bartender had his face in his phone and the cook never once thought to get his attention and say something to the effect of, "hey idiot, you wanna serve this or just let it die on he pass?!" I eventually just went over and took it. When the imposter posing as a bartender finally came out of his phone trance he didn't even acknowledge that I'd somehow, miraculously - as there are no floor staff, been served. No silverware, no napkins, no condiments, and sure as hell not the ghost of an interest or concern from the tool behind the bar. Completely unprofessional operation, high time the owners stepped-in and tightened this ship up, before they lose anymore customers. This one won't be returning. read more

The only thing better than the food is the staff! Bar PM is a great local place for a bite or a cheap drink and always has great live! No matter what the occasion, this bar has something for everyone! read more

This place is a little hidden gem right off Broadway. You'd think because of the location that this would be full of drunk college kids, but it has more of a hip, local vibe. And the food is AMAZING!!! 10/10 would recommend. read more

Drinks were only okay, and the band was obnoxious and loud. We stayed for one drink and left, there really wasn't anything there that we were willing to stay for. read more

I go there for the bad ass music and their chicken wings. Cheap bear and listening to John Sprott-can't beat it Only downside is they allow smoking but tbh it kind of adds to the charm read more

The staff at this local watering hole is the best in town. Always takes care of me. Treats my family and friends with respect. The sunny side up burger kills it. Kills it!! Do yourself a favor and go here. You won't be disappointed!! read more

I love this little bar! They have great food & I recommend the philly (the fries are amazing btw)! The staff was very attentive & served great drinks. The specials on food & drinks are some of the best in town (I think). They consider themselves a 5 star dive bar & I couldn't agree more! The PM stands for Paige & Michael (the owners) so don't let the name fool you, this place is good anytime of the day read more

To start off the service was terrible at best! Two bar tenders and it was practically empty bar. Group of 3 sat at the high table and never got service. Bartenders were not friendly because we weren't locals. Won't go back. read more

Always go here once a week for a meal after class/work. Grilled cheese is my go to, but the Mediterranean salad is great also. The food is amazing and always get the chips n' salsa. Oh, and the drinks are on point also. Service A+ read more

Bar PM is my favorite dive bar in Lubbock. When I went to school at TX Tech, many days my friends and I would walk across University to get their $5 lunch specials. Great bar food-Philly cheesesteak is my favorite. They also have daily drink specials and pour a stout well drink. They have TX beers available as well. I've never had a bad device experience here. They do have wifi--making it easy to do some homework during lunch. During the day there's not a large crowd, pretty quiet, but the weekends it gets packed. read more

PM is one of my all time favorite bars! If you went to Tech, you went to PM. It's a staple for undergrads and it's one of the best bars on broadway. The service is awesome, the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff is professional, courteous and they will even pay for your cab, a safe ride home! Also- the food is amazing- try the green chili burger or the jerk tacos! We love stopping by on game days, meeting for happy hour or checking out the best live music in town- they always have someone cool from outta town playing on the weekends. This place is GREAT! read more

Underage drinking bar. Bouncers insult customers, kicked me out because they don't accept NJ Id's. if you look young font waste your time, drink specials are not worth it either read more
