Went in today around 330, we were carded at the door then walked into what looked like it was basically a frat house but the history room of it. Sat at the bar for almost 10 minutes with absolutely no service at all from any employee. Had at least 3 separate employees walk past us, and the only visible bartender was talking, not tending, to a group of 5 college guys. I could hear the manager behind us on the phone talking about staff placement for the evening and not even she said anything to us when we walked out. Absolutely do not recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a mid-day drink if you aren't a college aged boy. read more

Especially for the price and portion size, couldn't believe we were the only ones there at 6:00pm, We came back later for the nightlife which had a great atmosphere and drinks. They have a new bartender. I found out her name is Kiki. She was banging on the ladies' room stall doors, which caused commotion and arguments amongst some customers in the restroom. I witnessed a fight break out because of it. Management should be trying to avoid fights among customers, not encouraging it. read more

This was a one off visit. A lot of college kids shaking their groove thang. Very eclectic atmosphere and range of music. There is pool and darts which is nice, the bar workers were attentive, and the food was ok. I did not expect too much on the quality but it was not bad. Terrible service. Went in on a Wednesday and it took 55 minutes to get 10 wings. Only two other couples were there.

Sat here at 4pm on a Wednesday (not busy) for 45 minutes after my friend and I ordered 5 wings and a sandwich with fries. We asked a bouncer that was walking around and he eventually brought our food completely cold (reminder - my meal was fries...) and with no ranch for the wings. Again another review on the poor attitude and rude behavior of their staff. I was there early evening at the bar having a beer and dinner. About a dozen of them hanging out before it got busy swearing up a storm. F bomb loud and quite often. I swear, but they made sailors look good. Terrible. Mostly a middle aged crowd there early evening some with children. Mentioned it to a manager, he said it was a bar and that is what happens in bars and if I would like to go somewhere else I was welcome to do so! On or about 12/10/23 130 am, My 2 sons and daughter were viciously attacked outside the bar by the bouncers of Loagie's. They admittedly stated they had been "waiting" for them to arrive based on a text/call thread from another establishment or other bouncers. They (my kids) never even went into Loagie's but were attacked as though they had been. We have video evidence of the attack on my sons. It is CLEAR in the video who is who, and you can see my sons fighting for their lives. In the same video, you can hear my daughter (age 29, single mother of 3 daughters, visiting her 21 yr old brother who attends college) screaming in the background. She is 5'2" and weighs just over 100 lbs, but was picked up and slammed onto the cement onto her head and knocked unconscious. Later diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury. We are offering a $500 reward for the 1st person who can show video evidence of HER attack. Again, my children were NEVER even inside of Loagie's but the bouncers dragged them away from the bar, held them against their will, held them down while other bouncers beat, stomped, and tried to mame and kill my children. My 21 yr old had his shoes and socks pulled off of him, and there is video evidence of at least 10 -15 bouncers attacking them. A nearby Tech cop saw the commotion and ran over to intervene because NOONE was calling 911. I hope that after reading all of these past reviews and now reading this one, EVERYONE stays clear of this place. The bar never reported the incident to TABC, and claim there is no video footage available. We are doing EVERYTHING in our power to get justice. We know who the bouncers are and we have evidence and we will be seeking justice. The place is nice but there is a short brown haired bartender that constantly asks for tips. It's a tad unprofessional to "ask" for a tip. We tip out of gratitude, but to go on and say, "I'll get you thrown out for not tipping" is what brings us here. I understand you get paid $2 an hour and rely on tips. But don't threaten your "wage". It's basically a hang out place for the workers and their friends. Nobody over 25 Works here. Nicks was a beast in comparison. AVOID THIS BAR!!!! A group of friends and I were headed decided to hit this bar up this last Saturday as it was close to our hotel and on the way to other bars across town. When we arrived in our Uber and entered the bar the first thing the door guy said was " I'm not letting the Indian guy in he's drunk" At first we were like oh this is probably a misunderstanding but after talking and we realized what's happening. so I returned inside and called him out on being racist. He told me to leave and that none of us are allowed in. I then asked him where his manager or supervisor is to which he replied he's not working. I then reminded him the tabc laws that in order to be open and serve alcohol you have to have a manager on shift. He told me to go and there's no manager and then his buddy next to him who started acting all tough tried to push our 6' 8" friend out. Mind you this kids only like 5" 8" on his best day and very lucky our friend had a cooler head. After this we had some more verbal exchanges at the door about what is going. Then he calls his all his baby bouncer crew out to intimidate us by trying to surround our group. He said if we don't leave he's calling the cops to which I responded please do because I know you're not going to with what's going on right now. Exchanged some more verbal pleasantries before we decided let's move on before we ruin these kids week. So long story short racist, ego tripping kids are what work the doors and security at this bar. Wish I would've doom scrolled down this review page before we encountered such a sh!t hole. And if the "management" wants to follow up I'd love to hear from you. read more

I went out on a Wednesday night for wing night which if mid and soggy wings was an Olympic sport they would win a gold medal, anyway, I was just here for the deal and accompanied my friend. I asked the bouncers if they could take passports as I recently lost my ID. He said yes and told me it was not me because I was too darkfaced? I continued to ask if he was giving anyone else this type of treatment. No kind words were exchanged, and he told me that I needed to take me and my wide back out of his club. During this interaction I witnessed them letting in multiple minors and not checking IDs as I stood there. He went on to ask for another form of ID in which he still would not give me another reason for not letting me in. He told the bouncer that if me and my jigabo friend did not leave he would kick my fat ass out. This whole interaction was shockingly absurd and offensive. Baffled by this form of communication I asked to speak to his manager and he proceeded to tell me the manager wasn't there which was a blatant lie, as I continued to press him to speak to another authority figure he then changed his story and said that he was the manager. Mind you this child is no older than 21 years old on a good day and barely meets the height requirement to get on a Ferris wheel. This whole experience was insulting and unprofessional. I hope that management can step up and address this situation before these bouncers continue this egregious behavior with someone else! read more

Logie's is one of my favorite bars here in Lubbock. The weekly deals are great for broke college kids to be able to drink in a nicer bar. It's a nice change from Broadway and Depot. Those places are a cesspool of disease. read more
