Brava is hands down a Lubbock favorite for a reason. it's your local go-to for affordable dishes. EVERYTHING on the menu is only $4.99! Talk about a great lunch spot during the week that doesn't break the bank and is affordable. Their tacos are amazing, but I found the Green Chili Burger to be the best in town, hands down. Next time you're looking for something different to try, give Brava on Milwalkee a try!

The service was friendly and fast! The ambiance of this place is great full of good vibes. The best food I've had it's real authentic Mexican food with other options like burgers and pizza. We came two days in a row since we're only passing by Lubbock. The prices are also great!

There being about 20-25 people there, how was our meal prepared with no culinary attention to detail? For example: my wife ordered the chicken fried steak, mash potatoes and salad. Her steak was so "bland and lukewarm" that it literally removed all sensitivity of taste from our tongues..., no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. On our drive home that's all me talked about. Mash potatoes were likewise "lukewarm and bland"..., then factor in the gravy..., exactly the same. Her plate obviously sat at the window too long or perhaps her food was simply "sitting there" waiting for us to order it. Her salad: there was nothing "green" about it, it was "all the white stalks" of the lettuce, literally 4 olives, a sprinkle of shredded cheese, 3 half slices of tomatoes with "gigantic croutons (that was interesting)". My "blackened chicken salad"..., salad was the same as my wife's; double-dang because I love salads and being type 2 diabetic and having high blood pressure this would have been the perfect meal for me. HOWEVER; the chicken was the worst ever because it was saltier-than-a-1820's-sailor..., horrible..., and drier than a camel's hump in the Sahari. I never knew that a chicken breast could be abused like that on purpose. So, how does such a nice looking place sell someone "absolutely ridiculously horrible food".

Tons of TVs everywhere, lots of standing-room-only tables. A lot of outdoor and bar games to play. It's a huge place and very loud - definitely not family friendly, so I'm not sure where other reviewers got that idea from. Also, parking is a nightmare and you will likely end up having to park in a neighboring business's lot. The orders for drinks and food are incredibly slow. Bartenders will straight up ignore you if you don't look or act a particular way, plus they're kind of dismissive and rude in demeanor when you do finally get service. It's all fit for a particular group of which I am not actually a member, it seems. But a friend wanted to visit for his birthday so I went to entertain his request. I would not personally go back here of my own accord.

We happened upon Little Woodrows because they are open until 2am and pet friendly. How lucky were we?? Courtney took the best care of us! They have a slide. A very cool slide. Nick took great care of us as we slid down the slide! (Do the slide)! We had sliders and chicken wings, cocktails, cold beer and fantastic conversations with the staff. They brought water for the dogs and kept our drinks full. Now, it's a monday in july. It's quiet, big screen TV with baseball on, swings...and the slide. Highly recommend!

Listen up, this place is new (opened late Nov 2024) so they are still working out the kinks. I say this because there are two reviews on this place that mention negative things. IMHO I think thus far they are excelling and will only get better and better. We need to give them grace as they learn and grow. ***So please READ MY REVIEW and ignore the 1 stars.*** The food we ordered was tasty, affordable and came out quickly. Drinks for the entire table were on point. Shout out to Chet who will gladly curate a drink for you if you are not sure what you want. Oh and did I mention 237 is located inside? 237 is Speakeasy located inside of Soggy Dog (at this time 237 is open Thur-Sat nights). 237 has it's own vibe and drink menu. PRO TIP: Enter Soggy Dog through either of the double set of metal doors. Yes you are at the right place. I will take pictures of the entrance on my next visit.

The chips and queso were an appetizer but came out with the rest of the food. Queso was extremely burned so I asked for it to be removed from the ticket; instead, they replaced it with spicy broccoli cheese soup. Okra and fries were not cooked all the way through; seems hard to mess up food service frozen food, but here we are. The hot chicken sandwich was made with chicken so tough I couldn't cut it. The hot sauce was nice, the salsa was decent. My giant mug of beer was flat but at least it was cold. Overall: poor food, slow service. Was hoping for better.

We started out with the mozzarella logs and the devil's on horseback. 10 out of 10 on both. For the entrées, we ordered the boom boom shrimp tacos and the ribeye sliders. I couldn't believe how tender the ribeye was in the sliders. They were so good. For dessert we had the mini beignets and the bread pudding. I think the beignets were better than the ones from New Orleans. They were so soft and warm. Yum! My Husband compared the bread pudding to the one at the Dave Ramsey restaurant in Las Vegas. The ambience was cool of course. It's a sports bar so you hear everyone's excitement from football. Pretty cool location if you ask me. I highly recommend if you're in the area or live in Lubbock.

Five-Star Experience at Walk-On's in Lubbock!…read more I can't say enough great things about my visit to Walk-On's in Lubbock -- especially thanks to our incredible server, Alyssa! From the moment we sat down, she made the entire experience amazing. Alyssa was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely attentive without ever being overbearing. She knew the menu inside and out, offered fantastic recommendations and made sure everything came out fresh and perfectly timed. Even when the restaurant got busy, Alyssa kept her cool with a smile and checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell she truly cares about her guests -- it's rare to find that kind of energy and professionalism all in one. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and thanks to Alyssa's outstanding service, it turned a casual night out into a memorable experience.

I will give major props to the server, Mollie, and her manager for doing a phenomenal job resolving a minor issue with the order quickly, politely, and effectively. The atmosphere was fair with good music and humorous decor in the bathroom. The lights weren't for me, but others may like the statement. Where The Reserve was lacking was the food. The pepperoni pizza was pretty good, but again there are better options around town. It did taste like it had been prepared in a genuine brick oven. The tortellini was bland. The queso was good enough, but nothing to get excited about. The salsa was downright terrible. The chips were actually phenomenal. The margarita made no attempt to cover up the strong taste of tequila. The Chilton tasted like club soda and not much else. Lastly, some of the surprise fees made me feel like I was booking air travel or paying a wireless bill rather than getting a nice meal. The final charge was a few dollars more than what was shown on the ticket. I assumed this was probably due to a service charge for paying with a card, although I didn't see it with a quick glance at the receipt. In all fairness, I'm sure this was disclosed somewhere and I overlooked it. I have come to accept this as the way of the world now. Also, when we ordered the chips and queso, we were asked if we wanted salsa with it. We accepted the salsa with the assumption that it was complimentary. Granted, since we were asked, I should have assumed that there was a charge for it. The charge was reasonable, although wasted because the salsa was so terrible. I did receive approximately a 5% discount for the order mix-up, and I actually ended up with a free pizza as well. The service and attentiveness were truly exemplary. I would give this place a second chance if I were in the area, but I certainly will not go out of my way for it.
