It was awful. The food was greasy and salty, not cooked to the correct temperature as ordered and the smell from the unpalatable mixture they call "stack sauce" hasn't disappeared from my several-times washed clothes or hands, and it's not a smell I'd like to remember. I had to re-order my hamburger three times. The first time I had ordered it medium, and it came out rare. When I asked them to make it medium, the manager tried to school me in what levels of rare to medium-well looks like, and insisted my hamburger was medium. ChatGPT agreed that when a hamburger is bleeding, it's rare not medium. The second time they forgot half of it in the back, the third time I just plopped it into a to go box and threw it in the back of the fridge when we got home. They did take the burger off the bill. The starter salads came out after the entrees, and the side of asparagus was a soggy, greasy mess, once they remembered to bring it. Not to be petty, but their diet Pepsi also tasted like dishwasher detergent. Don't waste your money! My dad liked the band across the street. read more

Cute place. It was crowded so we were seated upstairs. They gave us menus and then went to get us water. After reading the menu (almost memorized it) and waiting for the waitress to come back with the water and take our order, we decided to leave. We were not interested in getting forgotten about upstairs. As we were heading down the stairs the waitress started up to bring our water. I told her we decided not to stay. She apologized and I could tell she was distraught. We may come back sometime and try again during the week early afternoon perhaps. Use to leave this place thinking it was the best Bison burger I've ever had but something happened over the last few Mo the because the place is a dumpster fire now. Almost thirty minutes for a burger that came out not even close to medium rare but worst thing is that all the food was bland. Truffle arugula no flavor their stack sauce also changed because it no longer has rosemary now it's just taste like garlic and mayo. What a shame. read more

We ducked into this place during a torrential downpour having zero intel on what to expect. It was after 9pm and we were thrilled late dining was available. Our server, Asia, was super kind and attentive and directed us to an outdoor, covered patio with a dry table and immediately got our pup Winnie a water. Kudos on dog friendliness. We did not partake of their curated bourbons, instead, we had homemade strawberry lemonade with finely diced fresh berries. Not too sweet, perfect lemon/strawberry balance. Mocktail worthy! Next we each ordered carnivore fare. I had the roast beef/ French dip with white cheddar and it was next level. There was hints of rosemary in the buttery aioli, there was so much seasoning to the meat (well brined) and it was so tender and juicy, I declare this the best French dip ever. I have been to Philly, nothing comes close. Those were the sweetest Vidalias enhancing the flavor in an advertised French onion soup au jus but it was not soggy, more buttery filled with flavor. My husband gobbled the bread (since I can't have gluten), and he said it tasted homemade. Pair that with perfectly crisp parmesan fries with truffle oil. Wow, I keep having flashbacks to how good this meal was and am ready to go back! Prices are market rate for Stuart. For a nice dining experience under cover, outside with mood lighting, it was reasonable but if you compare it to some deli or fast food place it will seem expensive. It's a savor and watch the world go by type place within listening distance of Terra Firmata (for live music). I can't comment on what it looks like indoors but for pup friendly dining with atmosphere, it tops our list. read more

Stack has become my favorite spot for a burger upgrade in the Stuart area. The service at thr bar or tables is alwayd great. Stach has some really great specialty burger options. With a full bar, craft beers and a full menu of bourbon selections, I could spend hours in this cozy restaurant. Seating is also available upstairs. read more

Sadly an absolutely terrible experience. We had come here before as part of a birthday party and had a not great experience. At the time, though we chocked it up to a bad night and perhaps a bad server. As you might've read, this restaurant is owned by the same people that own Taco Shack and we really enjoy Taco Shack, but I'm not sure what's going on. This place was beyond disappointing . Between the four of us we had three burgers (all upgraded to their best blend) and a salad and an initial round of drinks. The service was slow out of the gate but not that big of a deal because we were talking and having fun. When the food came though things got worse. All three burgers were over cooked. Mine was supposed to be medium rare but was completely grey (so were the other two that were supposed to be medium) and I sent mine back or at least I wanted to but our waitress never came to check on us. I finally walked over to a server station and talked to the manager who apologized and said they'd fix it right away. I went back to the table and waited while my friends ate. Our waitress came by by 2 more times over the next 20 mins and took another drink order. After about 25 mins the manager came back and tired to apologize again as he told me they forgot to put my replacement burger in. After another 15 mins my burger showed up cooked, you guessed it, well done. At that point I gave up and ate half. Ten mins later our waitress came back STILL with no drinks and we asked for the check. They comped me the one burger but did nothing for the other two folks. Our first experience was a good one. They were very busy but managed to get seats at the bar. The service was very friendly and efficient. I had the Bourbon Stack which was both stuffed and topped with bacon. It was good but the bun was too thick and virtually tasteless which was disappointing. I am always up for trying a new burger. This one let me down. I went with the Plain Jane Burger as I like to get a good taste on my first visit. I cannot be convinced it was not a frozen patty. My friend had the Veggie Burger and was much more impressed. The service was good enough. It was not a busy time we visited, but our server was on top of things. We sat at the bar where it felt as if we were in the kitchen. There is a prep station about 20-24 inches from where we were eating. On this prep table was a hunk of beef about 20 lbs in size. The server has to reach over this to access the bar. A young lady was trimming the beef from the time we arrived to the time we left in between texting. Never good when a cell phone is on the table with the food. She did try to keep a glove on every now and then. So, if this meat was out for the hour we were there, how long in total was it out of refrigeration? Too long? Room temperature? Is it still out? One of the cooks in this exposed kitchen samples the food. Never good to see a cook chewing. No hats or hair nets. No good. No go back. read more

In the mood for burgers and decided to give this location a visit. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our Plain Jane burgers, and the large TV screens. Burgers and fries were tasty and hit the spot. While looking for something new for us in Stuart found this joint. Our waiter was very enthusiastic and made many good recommendations from drinks to burgers. While I ordered the "plain Jane" my G/F ordered the All American. Both burgers were cooked perfectly. Good portion of fries. Both got bourbon drinks which were good but a little weak on the amount. What a great new find for us! Super cool atmosphere and great food! It's small-ish inside but with the upstairs, downstairs and patio...it's perfect! We ate upstairs with a fun view of burgers being grilled and TVs for entertainment! Great decor and just a cool vibe. We started with the smothered tater tots (happy hour price $8)-perfect amount of nacho cheese, bacon and a great cilantro sauce-hot peppers on the side. They had a great beer selection but the bourbon selection and speciality drinks looked amazing...went with and IPA tonight. We ordered the Plain Jane burger($10 bargain bc it was a huge burger), it was juicy and delicious (no pink cook optio sooo juicy and flavorful) with fries. We also had the wedge salad and the Slidas (happy hour price $8) they were so juicy (pink cook option even juicier than the burger) the onions and cheese were perfect as they melted into the sliders. The wedge salad was fresh, crisp and tasty, I recommend just asking for a little more dressing on the side. Everyone around us had so many different apps, drinks and burgers, all talking about how great their food and drinks were. Nothing special about the burgers here and yet they charge 50% more than any other place, which have better burgers. Their burgers are 6 ounces, other places, who make better burgers, are 10 ounces. And yet you pay $17 for a burger here instead of $10 For the better burger At another establishment. I might go back for the happy hour, with its great selection of draft beers, but they have soured me on their burgers. BTW, you would at least expect them to get the temperature right on the burgers at $17 a burger, but no. A medium burger comes out the first time well done, and when sent back, the second burger comes out closer to rare than medium. Blech! read more
