We had an absolutely great time for our first visit here! Love the nautical/octopus decor around the place including a huge octopus mural inside. There were a ton of beers on tap and everything we tasted, we liked (heavy on the IPAs which was appreciated). They even offer wine/cocktails/mocktails. We ordered a few different things; flatbreads, fries, tuna nachos, and the kids cheeseburger and quesadillas. Everything was great and the kids menu was a plus. They even had a toy corner set aside making it family friendly. Our bartender (Trapper?) was amazing, so helpful and so nice! I would definitely visit here again while in the area. read more

Banging pretzel bites! And the mini donuts too! We had the best server we've had in a long time, Laura (I think) was slammed with a wildly busy trivia night. Even with a ton of tables and not a lot of staff she was super on top of it, had a fantastic personality and attitude, and really made our night! Drinks were solid, vibes were right, the trivia guy was pretty entertaining. Brewery was packed but you can see their brewing vats and whatnot on one side and then it's more of a dining room vibes on the other! Great brewery, great burger and dog friendly! They offer a variety of beers from IPA to lager to sour! My favorites are FloCal and the lager. They have a great menu with, drumroll please, a great fresh ground angus burger! I have lived here for 3 years and have been on a quest to find a great burger. Not a smash burger, a REAL, juicy burger. It was so juicy, the brioche bun fell apart! Note to chef: could you find a firmer bun like a kaiser roll? Stopped in while I was in Florida visiting family and we had an absolute blast! I really have it at top of my list to go back when I'm back in town. Luckily enough, we came almost towards the middle of trivia night that they also incorporate music trivia into it seemed really fun and we just as a table played unofficially by ourselves, but one of the main reasons I want to go back is to win trivia night! Our server was super helpful and offered some recommendations for starters and mains and beers so we took her recommendation for an appetizer and we started with their pretzel and beer, cheese bites and let me tell you those pretzels are bathed in some delicious butter - I am not mad at it. For our mains, we took advantage of their taco special for the night and I got their quesadilla with chicken. Everyone loved their tacos and my quesadilla was really good. The quesadilla is pretty hefty and I was able to take half of it home for later (sidenote: it does reheat very nicely.) I tried their paddle out, which is an East Coast IPA and I really enjoyed it, we also tried the Danny boy which is a red Irish ale and also really enjoyed that. Came here for drinks and decided to get some appetizers since it was happy hour. We ordered the pretzel bites which came with a cheese sauce. The sauce was very thick and had a film over it, which wasn't great. The pretzels themselves were okay, some soft and some crunchy. We also ordered the Mac&cheese egg rolls. These were also okay. One of the "tourist attractions" that St. Lucie County is the Treasure Coast Wine, Ale & Spirits Trail. For someone who enjoys a good brew, such as I, this is definitely one of the trails I look forward to completing. For me, I began my trail after work at Ocean Republic Brewing. I will admit that I never really enjoyed any of the breweries in St. Lucie County, before, ergo, this was my first one. Talk about breaking in my drinking virginity in a new county, right? Thankfully, Ocean Republic Brewing was an excellent brewery to break me in. I got to try some of their food, one of their local brews, and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and company as I was there around 2 p.m., meaning not a neigh soul there except for some retirees wasting away in Margaritaville. Ocean Republic is located in the heart of downtown Stuart on the westside of Federal Hwy. If it further helps out, it is located in the same plaza as the Stuart Bowl - Lanes & Lounge (bowling alley). From the outside, Ocean Republic shouldn't be too hard to miss at it is at the southeast tip of the plaza and easily viewable from the highway. Getting into the plaza is another story and may take some fancy driving (zig-zags and u-turns) to get in. However, if you want the easiest access, come in heading south on Federal Hwy. Ocean Brewery definitely has ample seating and space to host a party, a game, or a show while enjoying the local brews. There is plenty of seating inside with both tables and the bar, and the biergarten has plenty of shaded tables for patrons to enjoy their brew in the Florida heat (or 5-minute thunder storm). For my initial visit, I opted for the bar. Struck an engaging conversation with the bartender before I got my brew and my food. I believe I ordered the Equinox, a blueberry saison that was really tasty, and paired it with their street tacos, which were savory and delicious. On a sidenote, the Equinox is not really sweet but has hints of blueberry instead. And their tacos, well done, actually. Seems like it was made or assembled from the base and not just some instant tacos thrown into the microwave. I respect that. Of course, we 6need to bring up the take-home growlers and the licensed merchandise. I need to go back and buy some stickers for my sticker book. Ultimately, it was a fine first visit to Oceans Republic. Will definitely come back to try more of their other brews and food. For now, giviing the highe rating of 4 out of 5 stars. If they remain consistent, I promise Ocean Republic will eventually be a five-star brewery in my book. read more

Food was good except the HH listed 10 boneless wings and I received 8. I did mention it with no avail. Was more on letting them know vs a complaint. Wife had the hamburger, comes only one way, well done. Fries were really good especially the poutine. Our server was there for her first day. She was nice and attentive. Only complaint would be about another server who kept doing nothing but complain about everything from tips, other employees and work. Decided to come here during spring break when I was visiting my parents, this is a fun location! There was a small business selling dog products, I had a beer flight that was very tasty! I let them know that I don't like ipas, so they gave me a great selection of tasty beers. To eat I had a trio of pulled pork sandwich's, and my dad had the mahi tacos which I tried as well. Mussels were good - could have used a bit more garlic - and the spinach dip was average but at least came with tortilla chips so I could eat it. Stopped in for an impromptu lunch with the fam and we were served by a friendly bearded dude who told us all about the hot sauces and the Holiest Of Mole BBQ Sauce, which I had to ask to try with my Dolphin Fingers. Both of which were fantastic! Their "craft kitchen" menu is for sure a 10/10. My husband really enjoyed his burger and beer as well. Between the service and the food, we highly recommend! Absolutely love this place! I am a huge dog person and being able to find a place I can bring my dogs too, is always a plus. When I was told the owner also owned Labs, I was even more thrilled. They even had homemade treats for purchase. We stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. We order the chips and dips, shrimp tacos, and a hangover burger. Everything was delicious and the service was spot on! First off, as a Canadian, any place that serves poutine is automatically at least 3 stars - and I will never not order it. That said, the poutine (authentic, as one of the owners is Canadian themselves according to our server!) was absolutely fabulous! We had it with pulled pork, and it was great. Our company had boneless wings and a burger, and both were happy with their meals. The different beers we tried were all excellent, and I would love to try more of their selection another time if we're ever visiting the area again. Our server was on top of everything, bringing everything out quickly, and I wish I'd gotten her name to give her a shoutout for being so great. I went to Ocean Republic Brewing for a quick pint and leave. But I was greeted by a bartender named Tina. Tina was a dark skinned exotic looking woman who was waiting to take my order. We talked about what beers I enjoy and said she could match me up perfectly but suggested I tried another type.. I tried it and it was delicious. I believe it was called house brew or something of the sort. Tina suggested a few more samples and each one had a great fresh taste. Tina let me know that it was also Taco Tuesday and since I'm crazy about tacos, Tina suggested her favorite the blackened shrimp taco. Bursting with flavor the taco and the beer Tina suggested were spot on. I was going to leave and found out it was Trivia night. I saw a co worker and his wife sit at the bar and into trivia night we began. Tina cheering us on. What was supposed to be a quick pint became a two pint two taco trivia bonanza! We were in Stuart to visit some family over the weekend and needed to kill some time so we looked up breweries in the area and found Ocean Republic. They had live music the night we went and we were able to find a few seats at the bar between the sets. The vibe was pretty laid back which I liked. The bartender greeted us and let us sample a few of the beers. I'm a pretty basic bitch so I went with the Flo Cal lager and it was honestly great. My girlfriend was feeling adventurous and tried the Tropical Breeze fruited wheat ale and loved it. We didn't order any food but the menu looked like it had some good options. We will definitely try something from the food menu next time. I really liked their logo so I ended up snagging a pint glass and t-shirt as well. We will definitely be back in the future. read more

We drove off I-95 just to check this place out. Glad we did! The wait staff were very friendly. They had great beer recommendations. There is a nice selection of craft beer for everyone to find something they like. They were very welcoming towards us and our dog. It's a rare find to have a place let our dog sit inside with us. Just an unorganized waste of a restaurant, slow or no service. Kitchen was just as terrible as a party of about 16 had ordered and the food came out over a 30 minute time span. We ordered for the grand kids and the food came out 40 minutes later cold. We waited another half hour or more for the rest of the order. It was not edible. The water station where the customers had to get their water was empty too. Never had a worse meal in Martin county. Nothing more to say as I suggest you go to another place to find food.
