Really enjoyed by beer (cherry chocolate stout) and the ambiance (dark, romantically lit, busy and friendly). The bar was doing drawings for a giveaway while we were here so it drew a big crowd. The section in the back room provided enough privacy for good conversation with company. They also have an outside patio.

Cool little brewery right off Rt 1 in Tequesta. The inside is a little dark lighting wise but the small patio in front is a chill spot. I got the Haze you Guys IPA which was pretty good. My wife got the Der Chancellor Kolsch which she enjoyed. Cool spot to pop in for a beer and sit outside.

There's nothing better than a fresh Chancellor straight from the source... I love coming to TBC for so many reasons and occasions. Although the bar area is darker than some may like, it's unlike any other brewery around. You get a great view of where the magic happens, and you also get to watch sports on the TVs that are located all over. They recently added another large room that offers more natural light (no, not the beer), and connects to a patio area with covered seating. Brownie Points-- Dogs are allowed!!

Nice lineup of brews. Had a flight and all that I tried we're good (see pic); of special note was the "Stuck" which is a prickly pear wheat beer. Very unique and refreshing. Definitely a good summer beer and should appeal well to the ladies. Their brewery is quite cramped and the night I visited was extremely loud. Plenty of parking as it is in a strip mall.

Beer was great! They have a dog friendly outdoor patio too. Go next door and get Greek food (it's really good) for a full experience.

I've lived in PBC for five years, and only recently was able to check out Tequesta finally. You would have thought being a brewhead such as myself, I would have gotten up to Tequesta to gander at their full selection. But being that it's a little bit of a drive from Lake Worth, you have to time it right so you still have time to sober up and head back -- unless you Uber or take a shuttle with a bunch of people. The latter of which I did. For some reason, I thought the location would incredibly tiny and cramped. It wasn't. Really cool, dark ambiance with plenty of room at the bar if you come at the right time, as well as high-top tables and a lounge area in the back with sofas to chill out if you're with friends. The beer is solid and consistent, having enjoyed their trademark Der Chancellor kolsch, Gnarly Barley American pale ale, Rounding 2nd Belgian-style triple, and their Santana nitro coffee porter. Haven't had a bad tap yet. I was fortunate to enjoy cans of their Freedom IPA and Brave Tart Berliner Weisse recently from there. Very pleased with my experiences thus far at TBC, and look forward to many more on the horizon.

Yummy.

Now this is what I'm talking about. An honest to goodness real brewery right here in my back yard. And the beers are awesome too. This place is loaded with character. With a true local bar feel. From the minute I stepped inside I knew this place was going to be great. It was in between lunch and diner so it was not very crowded but I imagine this place gets pretty lively late night and on the weekends. The bar tender took the time to describe each beer and a little of the breweries history. I had some time so I sampled each of the beers on tap, even a special batch that was made for Cinco de Mayo. I was also educated by the bar tender about Florida laws about breweries not being able to prepare food in there establishments. This is easily remedied by ordering food from the restaurant next door and they will deliver it to you. I had a great time here, drank some unique and delicious brews and ended up taking home 3 growlers. Guess I will have to come back to have them refilled. Can't wait.

$6 flight. PF FTW!

Six. Dollar. Flights. If I absolutely need to go further, it is that every one of the 8 beers we tried were drinkable, unique and delicious. Each one had a very distinctive nose, followed up by a taste that did not leave me wanting more. The Pucker Factor is the most drinkable kettle sour I've ever put into my mouth. You need to stop here.

Having lived in NYC, where there were enough craft beer places in walking distance it was like swatting flies... this place rocks. First, the cobalt blue lighting and steel canisters gives this place a steam punk vibe-- the perfect place for inspiration for a sci-if writer like myself. I never wanted to leave. The beers made on premise are second to no one. I had the "Motion Oatin," with hints of oats laced with coffee that was so smooth and delicious. Then the, "You'll Poke Your Rye Out" IPA was a great compliment. Food here is a hoot. They have a bar menu, but you call a number and the kitchen near by delivers it. Too funny, but it works. I had the wings which were good. I marveled at the growler filler, like some mechanical wizard fulfilling one's dreams. Awesome.

Been coming for years, get my keg filled here all the time love the place. The only thing I wish they would do is allow kids during the day on a weekend.

Stainless steel fermenting tanks

This is one cool tap room. I know this brewery is not very old at all, yet the bar has a dark, divey, lived-in feel that lends a great beer vibe to the place. It feels like it's been around forever, as if it was a venerable old Chicago pub. There's no food here, but customers may order from the cafe next door. Illuminated in blue light at the back of the bar are the stainless steel tanks in which the fresh beer you will enjoy here ferments. If you are new to Tequesta beers, order a sampler/flight tray - the samples look to be about 4-6 ounces or so, plenty enough to get a feel for what's on tap. I liked their Julio's Hefeweizen and especially their Terminally brown ale, a low-ish ABV brown ale jammed with chocolate and coffee flavor. Beyond the normal offerings, on the day I visited, for their Jupiter Beer Fest afterparty, they also had a special cask of their Terminally ale I mentioned above, treated with black licorice and raisins. This was a real treat, a densely full-flavored cask ale at a relatively low alcohol level. I didn't even mention the prices. You can drink like a king here at a pretty low price by South Florida standards. When visiting the Jupiter/Tequesta area, hit up TBC and thank me later.

I think they said this was the American Ale.

I'm brand new to the area. I just moved to Jupiter about three weeks ago and haven't really been out. I looked up good bars/breweries around the area hoping I could go and relax and socialize. I went by myself since I didn't really know anyone. I decided to go there right after work last night (Friday). When I got there around 6:15pm, the place was fairly full. The majority of people in the bar at that time of day were older, middle aged people who looked like they just got off work too. I walked up to the bar and within about 15 seconds one of the bartenders saw me and offered service. I told them it was my first time there and the people around me immediately turned to me and said "Oh! You have to try this this and this!". The bartenders themselves also agreed and shared information regarding their beers. They were extremely knowledgable and helpful. I order the American Ale for my first beer (I think) and it was good. A little strong for me since I'm not a regular drinker. But it was nice after a rough day at work. While the bartender was fixing the drink, a few people around struck up conversation and everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was great as well. I was informed that the bar was only about three years old, but I could tell that this place will be in business for a very long time. I was introduced to the owner, Matt, who was a really genuinely caring guy. He seems like the kind of guy that everyone would like and it would be very difficult to find a reason not to like him. The whole setting of the bar was very relaxed, friendly, and just all about drinking and socializing. I ended up staying there from about 6-10. Around 8-9 ish, I noticed a younger crowd moving in, which was a nice change of pace. I'm sure you're wondering about the pricing by now, right? Let me tell you, for craft beers, these beers were CHEAP!! I drank three beers and ended up buying a $16 t-shirt, and my bill came out to $30. You do the math! Have to go to the bathroom, don't worry, it's clean. Most bar restrooms are trashed and nasty looking, but the restrooms at TBC look like upscale, fancy bathrooms. Not to mention, the sink handle is a great idea! When you're walking back there, you'll notice large tanks where they brew the beer in house. All in all, I had a GREAT experience. The locals are very friendly, the staff is very friendly and very intelligent. The owner is probably the nicest bar/restaurant owner I've ever met. The drinks are delicious and cheap. You really can't beat this place. Just from my review, I think I'll have to go back again tonight!

Frazier Creek Brewing and Distilling - Barrels

Frazier Creek Brewing and Distilling

Wish I knew about this when I moved to the area! Great place to bring a group of friends or stop in…read morefor a quick drink. Bartenders were super friendly as well and gave a nice walkthrough of what they had to offer on the menu as well. The food service is rather limited but still available as you can read in other reviews but I believe they allow outside food but also check with them first to be respectful of course. Other than that I'm definitely adding this to my place to bring my friends and family when they visit Stuart.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Initially, I found Frazier Creek Brewing and Distilling (which I will shorthand simply to Frazier Creek for the remainder of this review) through my adventuring, specifically the Treasure Coast Wine, Ale & Spirits Trail. Though not the first brewery in Martin County, it is the first "brewstillery" in which it serves as both a brewery and distillery. Wanting to check in at another location on the aforementioned trail, I have to say this place is pretty good, but since I went early afternoon (I work 3rd shift at the time), it isn't exactly the most active place to be at. And to be fair, the same goes for the other brewery I went to at this time (Ocean Republic). Ergo, this initial review will be based on a visit between noontime and 3 p.m. In short, too early to be at a brewery, but the only time I could go because of my working shift. Though an address is provided, Frazier Creek is located in Mayfair Plaza on US-1 (Federal Hwy.). If it helps, it is the business that seems to have a "watchtower" rising up from its entrance like a sentinal. Upon entering, you're greeted to a nice open space that hints this place was probably an extreme sporting goods vendor or business in its past. Why I say that? Because of all the decks on the wall used to highlight Frazier Creek's drink menu. I sat at the bar which was optimally observed by the cute bartender, and I understand why it was minimal as it was, as aforementioned, "too early to be in a brewery" and there were like only one or two more patrons inside besides me. Nevertheless, the bartender was attentive and gave me drinks based on how I was feeling at the time as well as the fact it was still early afternoon. So for me, lighter beers. I would not drink a heavy stout or IPA this "early" in the day. What I did have were three drinks they always have on tap, two alcoholic so I had them in 4 oz. tasters and one that was non-alcoholic so I had a regular 8 oz. glass. Must stress I was hitting up the locales in the Treasure Coast Wine, Spirit & Ale trail in Martin County so I can't get all happy at ONE location, right? I had the Stuart Shandy and Zero Gravity Sour in the 4 oz. tasters. The former had more of the grapefruit flavor over the lemonade flavor, but it was delightfully sour. As for the latter, I enjoyed that one more because I prefer oranges as my citrus of choice. And to "fill in the gap" without having too much alcohol since I would be drinking mead next (Hani Honey Co.), I had their root beer, too. That was good too, but I am more of a cream soda kind of guy, and since sugar is in everything, I have a thing for Olipop, Virgil's, and Poppi flavors. So far, not one brewery has made a sugar free root beer (yet). As for the last part of food and drink, there was no formal food menu I saw, but they did have either a collaboration or something "in house" outside of the actual brewery and distillery was served for food: fish dip. There were two versions I got, and I ate one with Ritz crackers at the bar. Fantastic. Definitely home made and independent given the price point, but I am more than willing to pay to help support it. As for the other dip, it was good too once I opened and finished it back home. On a sidenote, the restrooms - at least the men's restroom - was decently clean and stocked. Nothing out of the norm. Given the fact I showed up during a time I don't expect the full service and experience Frazier Creek has to offer, I can only rate my visit(s) for what they offer at the time I went which is three out of five stars. Now I must stress that is actually not bad as they hit all the main points on serving a customer during a time when they are "down" and "slow." I don't expect them, or any brewery/distillery/meadery/etc. to bend over backwards for me when I show up at 1 p.m. on a weekday. But I will also say that for many places, doing just the basics is a chore during that time, so the fact Frazier Creek did, I applaud you all. Now that I am working a normal schedule, I can truly come by during your peak hours and see what Frazier Creek has to offer. I did see they were preparing for a cornhole tournament when I left, and I would have loved to stay to smash the competition, but a las, responsibilities over pleasure when in the midst of a workweek. If Frazier Creek is consistent with what they provided during the early afternoon, plus whatever they do during their peak hours, I'll definitely update this review.
