Ordered takeout for a lazy weekend brekkies, ordering online was simple and easy to request changes/customizations. The order was ready when promised, and everything was correct. Hubby had the breakfast burrito the size of Popeye's forearm with a side of biscuit & gravy. I ordered a bacony benedict type thingy with onions & cheese, it was divoon. The gravy for the biscuit was a little thin but a generous portion of it. Overall, we were both very happy with out takeout and had no issues or delays picking the order up. It was almost noon on the 4th of July when I ordered but still had no issues, and the restaurant did not seem to be it's usual business at that time. Moral of the story: if you like Squeeze In on a weekend or holiday just to come here and complain about the wait or service, maybe just order ahead & get take-out?

Had breakfast with a friend here this morning. I had the "Eric's breakfast burrito" and my friend had the wrap. My burrito had scrambled eggs, avocado, jack cheese and sausage with home style potatoes. Food was fresh and tasted wonderful. It took a while to get our check, the server seemed distracted. The place is a bit small but homey. Definitely a great way to spend a Monday morning.

This was my first time trying Squeeze In. I seen so many raving reviews and thought I'd give it a try. I'm disappointed and feel like it was a waste of money. I'm not sure if I went on a bad day but I didn't end up eating any of my food. The flavor was off. My eggs tasted mostly of yolk, like that boiled egg yolk flavor. French toast wasn't any better. The only thing I ate was the fruit on top and the bacon. There was a taste that overpowered the whole meal. I'm not sure if it was thyme or what. My husband only ate the chicken from his country fried steak, his hash browns looked like they were just thrown together. Don't believe the hype.

Best service, best food, best location in Sparks. This is definitely our go to spot since its just a walk away from the house. Tony is the best server in Reno!!

One of my favorite places to go eat breakfast. Tony and Miguel make the experience that much better. Super friendly and personable service. The atmosphere is always fun. Lots of quirky artsy decor. The food is great, lots of flavor and love the sauces served hot to add more flavor to the food. Great potatoes too just the right amount of crisp.

My friend and I had another eggs-elent meal at Squeeze In today. The restaurant is bright and cheerful, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is fresh and delicious. Today we had a Misty's Mocha, a Mango Tajin Mimosa, Violet's French Toast Breakfast, and Kay & Shi's Superfood Scramble, and we enjoyed excellent service from super friendly Tony L. We'll be back soon.

The twice-baked scramble is still my favorite go-to breakfast or lunch form here. It comes with a side. I often choose to top it with hashbrowns. It is so scrumptious this way. This time, I opted to get a bowl of fresh fruit. It is packed full of potatoes, bacon, cheese, and green onions. I prefer to have my potatoes extra crispy. I love to get over-easy eggs and have the egg yolks run into the potatoes. It is a creamy lucscious bite. Being that it was a Sunday, we got a reservation through Yelp. I highly recommend doing this. We had a party of 5 and had a short wait of about 15 minutes. We all got something different. Our waitress made sure that my grandson got his meal first. He is three, and toddlers have a hard time waiting. She found out he loved strawberries and made sure he got more of them in his bowl. Service was wonderful, and we all had a great time.

Half order of biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs. Yum.

This place is the place to go to for breakfast, the food is amazing, I ordered biscuits and gravy and egg and bacon, and the husband ordered an omelette, and the food was awesome and the service was great! They have the best biscuits and gravy, delicious!

An absolutely enjoyable experience! It was my family's 1st time here, but we will definitely come back again the next time we're in the area. The family wanted brunch and this place was close by and dog friendly. We sat at an outside table (with our dog in a carrier) as a party of 6 and water and cups were promptly brought out and drink orders instantly placed. Our server was Kaitlyn (spelling may be wrong) but she was very attentive and patient and answered our questions. The food portions were huge and most of us took home leftovers. Food was tasty, except for the spuds (they were crispy and lovely but lacked flavor). However, everything else was a hot i ordered the Garth sandwich and it was delicious! All in all a lovely experience. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, since it's a shared parking lot with tons of businesses, but it was manageable. The outside seating was also on the sidewalk, so close to the parking lot, but still comfy.

So I reviewed this place before, about 7 years ago, but for whatever reason, Yelp! pulled my review, and my photos, claiming I was "affiliated with the business", like I work here, or I'm a shareholder. Well, they won't be pulling this review, unless they want to break federal law as my disclaimer at the end will explain. I love the decorations, and all of the different alien stuff, and just random decorum that actually works for this place. People can also sign their name and put stickers on the wall! Anyhow, I've been coming to these for years. The one in Carson City also. I've actually been interested in buying into one of these franchises, because everyone that I've been to have been super successful, but its a cool $¼M just to get started. They have a good diverse menu, and they have mimosas by the pitcher. Of all the times I've been to these, I've only had a subpar meal one time, and that was a few times ago when I ordered the chorizo Benedict. I think they were training a new cook, but the eggs were way overcooked, but they were happy to bring me better eggs. This particular visit, Tony was my server. He is excellent! I'm pretty sure that he's waited on us somewhere down the line, but super on top of things, super happy, just a really good dude, so ask to sit with him if you want top notch service! This visit, I ordered the traditional Benedict. I'm an eggs Benedict FIEND, and every time I come here I always say I'm going to order something different, but I generally don't. I do on occasion, but this bene I ordered yesterday was ON POINT! Large eggs, poached perfectly, perfect hash browns, creamy rich hollandaise sauce, and I even ordered a side of biscuits and gravy, which were perfect. Haley brought our food to us out of the kitchen, she was super nice and told us we could rely on her if we needed anything special! Squeeze in is always pretty much a guaranteed home run. Sometimes the wait times are crazy, which is a good thing, but you can always check in online. I checked in online before I left the house yesterday, had about an 8 minute drive, and was seated within 3 minutes of getting there. But other times, I've checked in 20 minutes before arrival, and still had to wait 10 or 20 minutes. Regardless, to me it's worth the wait. Thanks squeeze in, thanks Tony, thanks Haley, we'll be seeing you again soon! To Yelp: I don't work here. I don't own this place. I'm not a shareholder. I'm not affiliated with this business other than being a faithful paying customer. I wouldn't advise pulling this review. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. I've been here a few times for large dinner parties or even lunch with friends/family and one thing I can say is that the Sparks water bar staff is always incredibly welcoming and kind! The waterfront ambience is always very aesthetically pleasing so we wanted to enjoy it one last time before the warm season ended. We started off lunch today with a crabcake appetizer, I am determined to try all the crabcakes in town, but I will say this one in particular, although the portion is tiny, it is definitely worth every bite. For an entree today, I got the Korean short rib tacos, these included a mango salsa and an Asian inspired aïoli. I wasn't too sure how it was going to feel about this combination but over all it was tasty and the mango salsa complimented the dish well. They definitely were not shy about the portion of meat they added on the small tortillas. If you're looking for a nice place to drop in for a date, celebratory dinner, etc. I would definitely recommend trying out Sparks water bar!

It was an early Thursday evening, plenty of tables open, looked like plenty of staff. So why did it take AN HOUR from start to finish for 2 drinks w NO FOOD?!?! We were sat by a hostess within minutes of arriving. Within about 5 min, we met our server and ordered 2 cocktails, nothing blended or over the top custom, just 2 cucumber mojitos. Those arrived about 10 minutes later, so far, not too bad. Then we sat for about 20 min before we even spotted our guy insode the doning room, but he never came near our section. Another 15 min went by. The 2 tables near us were also ready to pay & we overheard them vocalizing their frustration. We would have ordered another round if we'd had the chance. It took another 15 min just to get our check and pay. He said he was "busy putting out fires". Sir, this was not the Hawk Fire zone, and it wasn't that busy. Servers were all over the rest of the patio getting food, drinks and checks. I was a server for over 10 years, so I notice things. If there's delays, just stop by your section and communicate. No reason to ghost several tables and I'm certain by his uniform that our guy wasn't the manager on duty that evening. At this price point & setting should warrant servers that hustle, that's how better tips are made.

The fried chicken was easily a 10/10! Perfectly seasoned, crispy skin, and juicy, tender meat. The fried catfish was also amazing. Not overly oily, perfectly cooked, and honestly one of the best things we had. The baked beans were incredible too. So much flavor and nice and saucy. The ribs were a close second. Great flavor and they literally fell off the bone. A few sides missed the mark for me personally. The cornbread was super dry and looked and tasted almost like it had been dipped in the fryer. The rice and gravy was really under-seasoned and didn't have much flavor. And unfortunately, the mac and cheese was pretty underwhelming. It was very watery and lacked any flavor. But the lemon cake?! Moist, delicious, and the serving was HUGE. Definitely save room for dessert! Despite a few misses with the sides, I'd 100% come back for the fried chicken, catfish, ribs, baked beans, and that lemon cake. Great service, a welcoming space, and some seriously good Southern food!

You can wait to be seated or order takeout from the counter. The servers and staff were extremely friendly and treated you like a good friend they have known for years. Of course we started our meal with sweet teas. The tea was perfect and transported you directly to the south with every sip. As an appetizer we had the fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were lightly battered, seasoned beautifully, and fried to perfection. The sauce that was served with them complemented them perfectly. For our mains, I had the shrimp basket with red beans and rice and my husband had the catfish plate with Mac-n-cheese and collard greens. I also ordered a side piece of fried catfish and a basket of fried okra. The catfish and the shrimp were both coated in the same light batter as the tomatoes. Like the fried green tomatoes, both the catfish on the platter and the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked beautifully. The tartar sauce was rich and rich and creamy with just the right amount of tartness. The Mac-n-cheese was well seasoned and delicious, however the cheese sauce was thicker than what we prefer. The collard greens were perfection! My husband absolutely loves collard greens and is extremely picky on them yet he could not get enough of these! The red beans and rice were delicious. I would say that the balance and ratio was a bit off as the rice disappeared due to the amount of "sauce" from the dish making the bowl more of a soup. M&M seems like they can get pretty busy and can get backed up quickly both out front and in the kitchen. The servers were told at one point to wait to put in orders for a bit (it was about 20 min before they were told they could resume) and my piece of fish and my okra came out after we finished our meal (it was almost like the kitchen forgot about it-even though we asked about it 2 times). The okra was crispy and very lightly battered. We will definitely be returning, but will be making sure to give ourselves more time as this meal took us 2 hours from seating to getting the check.

That doesn't change one very important fact: of all the bars I walk into every week, this will always be favorite. It's home. It's one step above dive-y. Two steps down from trendy and in a different ZIP code than hipster. This is a quintessential Nevada bar. There's lots of room to sit at the bar or tables. The bathrooms are always clean. The pool tables are free to use (good luck on a league night, though ). The staff is friendly, happy and always ready to make you feel special. Oh, yeah.. there's food, too. This is where Blitz sets itself apart. We've all had pub grub. Pizza made from recycled banana boxes. Burgers made from recycled tires. Beer made from recycled... Well, you get the idea. Blitz takes pride in their product. The beer is cold and served in clean glasses. The mixed drinks are not watered down or short-poured. Nope. These people are professionals. That is evidenced in every plate which leaves the kitchen. Yeah. Kitchen. Not a microwave and air fryer in the corner. A real, honest to Julia Child kitchen. From there they serve burgers from Blue Ribbon Meats, super fresh salads, mouth-watering pulled pork sandwiches, mountains of real nachos, and...(wait for it)... Tater Tots! Of course they have fries, too, but the extra crispy Tetris-inspired tots are one of my favorites. Definitely try them smothered in chili and cheese. I won't even try to do justice to their breakfast menu. The standard disclaimers apply here. The food is made to order and fresh so don't be surprised when the server isn't slinging it across your table 30 seconds after your order. It's absolutely worth the handful of minutes it takes to make it properly. I'd love to show you pictures of the food, but I'm usually happily chewing the last bite when I remember to take photos. The few minor annoyances I had with my chicken were that the chicken was too thin so it was dry and there was too much sauce on the sandwich which made it really slippery and messy. The onion rings were fantastic. I used a lot of napkins while eating and then had to still wash my hands after. The bathroom was very clean and the service was great. We'll probably be back.
