Cleveland and Elmwood

I love Spot Coffee, especially the Elmwood location. It was my high school hangout and now it's my grown up one. Delicious coffee and foods, great ambiance, wonderful people, excellent service. A Buffalo institution.

One of the bigger SPOT locations (first one?) It's in a great area of Buffalo; Elmwood. Like Buffalo and Spot a lot!

Just stopped in on our morning walk for some coffee drinks! Fast and friendly. The drinks were good. Nothing stood out as above and beyond. We would stop back if we were in the area. Also, the food options looked promising.

Always a great 'spot'! Cozy, welcoming environment that never fails to please! From their wide selection of teas, coffees, specialty drinks and a sundry of food selections, there's something for everyone. I always enjoy coming here for a quick bite or coffee to go but most of all to sit relax and work on projects.

Always a great stop. We are big fans of the grilled cheese. Get the salad dressing on the side though as it's pretty intense and they usually put too much on. Excellent coffee, and chai latte.

The "avocado"

Today, I ordered the $7.60 "The Mike Sandwich- Our Best Seller" and paid an extra $2.25 for bacon and another $2.25 for avocado. To save you the trouble of doing the math, that totals $12.10 -which is pretty steep for a sandwich so naturally I expected a modicum of good quality to grace my presence when it arrived. I probably could've gotten over the fact that my sandwich was lukewarm OR that only two strips of bacon were in my sandwich but the avocado I received was just disrespectful. Firstly, I ordered AVOCADO but received guacamole. Secondly, the amount that was added to my sandwich looks like someone put guacamole on the bagel and then tried to wipe it off. All around, it was a sad and Extremely overpriced, pathetic sandwich.

After reading a review online complaining about bad service but amazing bagels (lol) I decided to give it a try. Overall I would say the food did not disappoint! The bagel and panini were both crisp, and the drinks were sweet and refreshing. I'm not sure if it's because we visited close to the closing time, but there wasn't much waiting either. The employees at the time of my visit all seemed friendly, except for the guy with long hair who would just leave food on the pickup area instead of notifying the customers. My only complaint is that the tables all seemed kind of dirty, and there weren't enough employees cleaning the tables after the customers used them.

Caramel macchiato, hot chocolate, bagels, one with salmon.

If you are as adorably crumudgeonly on such matters, support local! The sisters that run Unapologetic Coffee are creating something special. My work schedule doesn't allow me to get there in person very much, but when it happens its worth it. I said what I said is a fine brew either hot or cold and I am sure Black Mixed with Black will class up my home brewer until I can pay my next visit. My daughter and I like to go to coffee shop dates on the weekends together , and this time Haraz was the stop. Your instantly transformed transported to a new world. The art, cultural, lighting everything is just so beautiful, and cozy. They have card and small board games available to play, while you wiat for your order or during your visit. The staff is always so friendly and kind. Ive been to the location on Elmwood as well. Almost 2 , 3 times a week lol . And the staff in both locations are wonderful . Not the drinks and food. There is soooo much to choose from , and everything looks and smells equally delicious. Our first visit I landed on the Pastashio frappe, and my daughter the hot chocolate. For a bit to eat I ordered the Bee bits. Which is Toasted Bread with Cream cheese and Honey. So delicious!!!! Recommend 100%. My daughter ordered two Macaroons. She also enjoyed. Now my go to drink is there Pistachio Latte!!!! Order one next time. You'll thank me later. We've also tired the virual fruit desserts. So far only tried the lemon. Was good but not my favorite. To much cream for my taste. But still very delicious. If you like creamy desserts that would be a great pick. They have soooo much to choose from. I get excited to return everytime. There is a drink for everyone's taste from , coffee to refreshers. Make sure you drop by soon !

Fun coffee shop in the heart of downtown Buffalo, definitely worth a visit…read more I was staying at Hotel Lafayette for a couple of nights and right before I checked out I decided to swing by to grab a coffee. While you can enter from the street, it's also connected from inside the hotel, which is honestly how it caught my attention. The space is actually pretty big, bigger than I expected. It's open, colorful, there's a ton of natural light, cool murals all over the walls, luscious greenery, and a variety of seating options. The counter where you order is nice and open, with a big menu, and a sheet of glass between the customers and what I quickly came to know is their staple item, the cruller - a donut-like pastry that's super airy on the inside with a delicious icing glaze on the outside. Along with my oat milk latte, I had to try one... ok two. I got a seasonal Pride one and I can't remember the other one. Both were dreamy and it was easy to see why they are so popular. If I lived in the area this spot would totally be a go-to for working out of when I want to switch up my scenery.
