Food was cooked perfectly and it was great to have a little bit of different parts of the menu.
My wife said that the restaurant was clean and the employees kept the kitchen clean and organized. we are fans of atmosphere and cleanliness! Out of all the places I've order steak hoagies from ever in life, The hoagie stop is number one. Although the size of the sub may not be as big as one place, they at least stuff their sub rolls with A LOT of steak which was more filling than getting full off bread. To me a perfect hoagie is supposed to be as like a sloppy Joe nice and sloppy with the meat and sauce falling out and this definitely in every way shape and form has met my expectations of a steak hoagie since I've known what a steak hoagie is. I love my fries the way they made their fries as well although some people may beg to differ on how they like their fries. They were definitely salted enough and better than 5guys fries in my opinion although 5guys have good fries.
I've been hearing great reviews about The Hoagie Stop so I decided to try them out. I saw someone repost a BOGO special they had this past Friday so I went for it. The entire ordering process was quite easy so I ventured over to their Allen St. location, went in and was greeted by a smiling young lady who handed me my food. I COULD NOT WAIT TO GET HOME TO DEMOLISH MY HOAGIES! I had to roll my windows down because I was tempted at many a red light to dominate them on sight. The smells were divine. I ordered two steak and sausage hoagies and two chicken hoagies, to share with my nieces of course. The portions were more than plentiful and my so picky 11 y/o niece played hers...she put down her phone to eat!!! The 18 y/o did the "dance". Listen, the pictures I took do them no justice because I was so ready to eat! They were not stingy with the meat and cheese and the peppers complemented them so well. This is my new cheat meal restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed!!!
When on Allen, I always have to stop grabbing a sub here. I've had a variety, but the chopped chicken is my favorite. It's a total flavor bomb. The portion sizes make it well worth the 18 bucks. There is no need to order extra meat cheese or sauce, even tho I do get extra sauce on the side just because I could drink it, so good. Would of given 5 stars, but unfortunately, their fries are not good to me. The order of fries is extremely large, but for me, it is not tasty or cooked well at all. The fries came with my beef hot link combo, which the beef link very good, and again, they do not skimp on the cheese here!
The BEST Hoagie Meat IVE EVER HAD!!! (The steak meat) -I got sausage and steak on my hoagie... sausage is very hot dog like BUT that is right up my alley. Wings-crispy, but flavor sucked- got garlic parm, tasted like charcoal and bunrt chicken.
OMG YES!!!! That's really all I need to leave for the review! I am visiting for the weekend and wow! Hands down the best hoagie I've ever had. I got the 8in Famous Steak Hoagie and I added jalapeños. Look how juicy it is! The bread is nice and soft and they are not stingy with the meat. It was so good I had to go back today before my flight and it was just as good the second time. I would recommend pre ordering because it's pretty busy but the staff was efficient and friendly.
I was really excited to try for my first time but I wasn't too happy about my bread being burnt the steak was good too bad though I get mad when I see stuff like this it's like are you just throwing whatever is done out.
This place has been receiving a lot of hype on Social Media so paid them a visit first chance I got while downtown. The set up is a little weird when you enter. You can't see the register due to a potato chip display. Many people came in and walked straight to the back and had to be stopped. Menu is available on wall or on mobile device by scanning a qr code. I order the famous hoagie with no cheese. Was quoted 30 minutes. I already knew about the wait times so it wasn't that big of a deal. I'm also used to being at Jim Steakout after a night of partying so I get it takes time. Unfortunately, the staff forgot I was there waiting and put my food in a insulated bag. I had to get back to work so was just going to leave and let them give the meal away to a hungry person on Allen but then they realized the error and apologized. Only reason for missing a star. The food was delicious! Not the place to go if your on a diet or trying to watch your figure. Don't wear white or anything nice you don't want to mess up. Bib may be helpful. Is a steaksub/hoagie. It's greasy. It's messy. But damn it's delicious! Tasted like a vinegar base to the sauce of the hoagie but very tasty. I heard the fries are fresh cut but didn't try them this time. There's always next time!
Was my 1st time ordering. I used a meal delivery service and it was piping hot when it was delivered! It overflowed with meat and was saucy! Definitely hit the spot. Can't wait to try the steak next!
Ok so I've been hearing about this spot so I had to try it. I had someone pick it up for me so I can't speak on the actual location or how it's set up inside. Online ordering was easy and while I initially planned to just get a steak sub I ended up getting a steak and sausage and some wings. The prices were steep in my opinion, comparing to shys which is my favorite steak spot. But shys doesn't have online ordering so this was easier and it was ready on time. I got the steak and sausage combo with fries and some lemon pepper wings. The steak subs have names after Buffalo neighborhoods but I can't remember the one I got. The sub was delicious, very meaty and good. It was only a 8inch but stuffed. The wings were also good, crispy without me asking and just the way I like them. They had a few different flavors so I'll have to try another next time, but it was so good I'm already thinking about what I'll get next time. Only con for me was price of the steak, but that doesn't deter me from going again. Give them a try. Reason for 4 stars is I need to see if they are consistent, that's big.
Back again for another uber eats deal...food was ready on time so there was minimal wait. Honey Cajun was the choice for today, sauce was spot on and the wings were crispy, the downside is that crispy equaled dry this time. A little too long in the frier. Bleu cheese was spot on as always. Hopefully I'll be able to get another visit in soon. read more

This is a spot that never disappoints. Not only is the food always fresh, and delicious. They also make sure your not breaking the bank. The have specials I'll the time for buy one get one free. Now the serving size is also more than generous. My go to order is the "Baynes- Westside chicken speical". Which is the Gourmet pita with seasoned chicken served w/ fresh-cut fries and a 20 oz drink. Now never skip the sauce. The sauce is the secret ingredient! They have wings , fresh cut fries , sides like pizza logs, tator tots and of hoagies of course. This is a must try if you haven't. They also make it very convenient with there many locations and availability on delivery sites like Doordash and Uber eats. Get yours today!!! read more

I recently went to try breakfast for the first time!! Now I been ordering since before the shops was up! But anywhoooo I called placed my order (the young woman on the phone was nice) I said what I wanted she gave me a pick up time! I get my food,I get home and was literally nothing to it!! No cheese no steak and a hard ass bun not to mention the rock solid hash brown! So I made a post about it and the owner decided he was gonna inbox me and talk to me ignorantly bcz I made a public post on MY EXPERIENCE! Now I don't live 2 mins away so no I wasn't about to call and ask for it to be remade it wasn't even good to wanna attempt a second one or have someone spit in my food bcz they don't know how to take constructive criticism!! Called me a loser to some people who thought he was super out of pocket w how he went about the situation! Which I find hilarious bcz we know the reallll BYRRRON Many others felt the same way and I wasn't the first one to have a complaint!! Or the first to catch the attitude from the owner himself to disrespect someone giving some feedback!! Too big of a world ig for a small minded man! read more

Raw steak when I took a bite of the sub. $18 for a sub that I threw in the garbage. Original order was 45 minutes. Got there in 50, waited another 10 inside, then they give me this. 1 and done. Won't last in Buffalo read more
