    Diavlo!?

Jim's Steakout The quality has been going downhill the last 6 months. We attempted again and spent near $60 on takeout. Terrible, never again. The Diavlo, terrible quality meat, stringy and grizzle. The meat barely covered the dry roll. AND, they forgot the sauce. I called the location that said "sorry" we have 5 new people...never offered anything further or a free sub for next time. Terrible food and customer service. To my family and friends, I recommend STAY AWAY. #disappointed #pissed

Steak Hoagie Deluxe 8" with no lettuce
    Jennifer K.

I grew up in Buffalo and any time I come home to visit this is what I want first and last. They are delicious and consistent from location to location. My go to is the Steak Hoagie Deluxe 8" with no lettuce. I highly recommend. :)

World famous steak hoagie. Looks good, probably need rubber gloves to eat this thing.

Kind Jim's Famous Philly is really good. Flavorful beef on a really soft and chewy bread. It is the perfect combination. We have them put the"works" and it was tasty!! Needed extra napkins because of all the juicyness.

My go to Jim's, mostly because it's in area I work. Everything I had here has been very good, just go in knowing this isn't gourmet food. My go to picks are the diavlo hoagie, the cheeseburger hoagie and the chicken finger salad. If you like ham subs this is one of the best I had anywhere actually. It just hits the spot, try it and you will see. Staff is very friendly and I don't think I ever had an order messed up in over 30 times I have been here.

Jefferson with chicken instead of steak
    Kelley S.

The Jefferson is delicious!! I did chicken instead of steak- Great choice I may say!! I also added bananna peppers! I always get extra sauce here because their Jims sauce is sooooooooooo good! The Jefferson is chicken (or steak) and sausage .

I usually use a drive up window at another location but decided to venture to a different location since it was closer. This Jim's was very nice inside and even outside. There appeared to be a small outside area for those summer days and many tables inside. It's a very clean sub shop and you are able to watch your order being made which I think is fun. The staff is very friendly and I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I places my order and was out of there in approximately 10 min. Very fast considering I ordered poutine fries which had to be cooked first. The poutine fries had a good amount of cheese And gravy. Only issue is traffic because it's on busy Sheridan so just be careful pulling out. Great friendly staff made this a very pleasant stop

The owner stopped by the table and conversed a few other times he was walking by. Their complimentary chips and salsa are heavenly. The chips have a southwest seasoning of sorts, and the salsa is not your typical salsa... but a few bars above. We also ordered queso. It was TO DIE FOR. I need to go back already for more chips and dip. My fiancé ordered the tacos... his three were carne asada, adobo grilled shrimp, and the pork belly. He struggled to pick a favorite. He loved the sauce on the pork belly, and decided the carne asada was his favorite. I went with the shrimp fajitas. Very good sized meal. The shrimp were delicious. The Mexican rice was a bit different than usual Mexican rice... seemed more like a blend of other grains, and instead of your typical refried beans, they were just straight up pinto. LOTS of food. We went home beyond stuffed, and still wanting more chips.

It looked like there were only about 3 tables seated at the time and a few people at the bar. The restaurant has a cool vibe with bright colors and a VW bus in the middle that you can sit in! So neat! We chose to sit outside on the patio, which was a nice option to have. Once seated we were brought our menus and shortly there after complimentary chips and salsa. We each ordered a drink, one was a non-alcoholic grapefruit jalapeno refresher and the other was an alcoholic watermelon basil margarita. The NA one unfortunately didn't have any heat or flavor at all of the jalapeno in the actual drink, but it was ok. My friend enjoyed his watermelon drink, but only had one because it was a bit sweet. We ordered the Pozole Rojo, shrimp taco trio and shrimp fajitas. The Pozole Rojo was great and definitely my favorite part of the meal. It had a lot of pork in it and I enjoy the hominy corn, which you don't see on many menus. My friend really enjoyed the shrimp as did I; it was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The beans that came with the fajita were quite bland, which was disappointing. All in all, I would give them another shot.

When you walk into the gas station, Tacocat is in the back. The many menu options are on the countertop. I opted for a chicky creama taco and my boyfriend got the chicky buffalo. Neither of us were even close to disappointed and we probably would've had a second visit by now if it wasn't an hour away. My taco was stuffed with shredded chicken breast, cabbage, onion, tomato, cilantro, microgreens and a garlic lime creama sauce... Garlicky deliciousness! I opted to add a medium sauce to mine as well. My boyfriend's came with shredded chicken breast, cheese, wing sauce, blue cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion and he added hot sauce. Next time I am in the Springville area, I will be back to Tacocat!

After a quick flex over the border into Canada (just to say we did), we swung by this spot... and wow. Certified sleeper hit. Place is super nicely decorated -- warm, cozy, "yes I am a responsible adult who eats at respectable places" vibes. Service? So good it was borderline rude. Like, relax bestie, how are you reading my mind and delivering everything before I even know I want it? Absolutely elite. And the food? When I say quick, I mean lightning-fast like they had a plate waiting for each of us before we even sat down. Flavor was on point, portions were perfect -- not "I need a nap," not "where's the rest?" Just right. Drinks? Cold. Like "Canadian winter sponsored this ice" cold. Bathrooms? Super clean but a little tight, so let's keep it real -- handle your "big jobs" at home before you pull up. We were greeted right away at the door and told to sit anywhere, which made things feel super relaxed Our server was attentive throughout and checked in just the right amount.
