We visited TCB on a Friday night with a few friends for dinner and drinks. When we first arrived a little before 7:00, the patio was packed so we went to the bar to wait for the rest of our party. By the time they arrived and we were seated, it had cleared out a bit. What a beautiful night to be sitting outside. We started with chips and guacamole. The guac was so good! And it was a big bowl. No just dipping a few chips here. Plus, the warm chips kept coming. I ordered the blackened fish taco and the Nashville shrimp taco. The fish was nice and flakey with the perfect amount of aioli on top. The shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly. Only disappointment was for being 'Nashville style' I expected them to be a bit hotter. It didn't take away from the flavor though. Beers were cold, service was great, and so was the company! Met some friends for dinner and drinks. Nice place but short on parking spaces. We sat out on the patio. Service was great. Thay have a menu full of good food. I had two tacos. One was the Chef's Special, a Nashville Chicken Taco which was really good. The other was a Philly Cheese Steak Taco which was a too salty. The salt overpowered the flavor of the peppers and onions. TCB is a really good place to get a great drink and good food. Parking is a little odd, and I say that because. There's a few spots in front of the restaurant. But there is more parking a street over. There's also a parking ramp($1.50 per hour) in the back. Inside the restaurant, you have spacious room and a nice size bar area. Everything was so clean. Service was amazing as well. Tacos- ordered 3 different types. Chicken, pulled pork and barbacoa. You can choose your shell and toppings. Tacos came with plenty of filling which is nice. Unfortunately, the flavor all tasted the same. If you were blindfolded, you wouldn't know the difference. Between the chicken, or pulled pork. Chips/salsa- Salsa was ok..I always get mild. Could've used a little salt. Plus it would've been so much better for me. If the salsa was room temperature and not cold. Quesadilla- Like the fact you can build your own. I went that route, and even though cheese was in it. I feel they should use the cheese that pulls away from the food. Cocktail- Anejo old fashion was amazing. I have heard great things about TCB and I can't believe it has taken me so long to get there. We went with friends to try the Delaware location out. The server was friendly and great. We ordered some chips and salsa, which were good. We went with the medium and it had a kick to it. I ordered the anejo old fashioned and enjoyed it. I can't remember what tacos I ordered, but my boyfriend and I shared a couple bites and I liked everything I tried. This location recently opened on Delaware so me and 4 of my friends decided to give it a try for dinner. When we went inside we were impressed by the atmosphere and really liked the decor and layout. Since the weather was nice we sat outside on their spacious patio which was really nice. It's quiet outside but great for any sized group. You may have to push some tables together but they're accomadating. We were greeted by several employees when walking in so we were immediately impressed with the service. They have a surprisingly good beer list for a taco place and also feature several margaritas. The menu itself isn't too large but has a lot of good options. Our waitress recommended ordering 3 tacos if we weren't starting with any appetizers and that was the perfect amount. However, the price of the individual tacos is a bit steep and higher than any other taco place I've tried I'm Buffalo. That is their one downfall. We really enjoyed the stinger and blackened cod tacos. They were all delicious but those were the clear winners in our group. Our waitress was great. When our food was taking longer than usual to come out she kindly brought us out some free chips and salsa to hold us over which was really nice of her. We ended the meal with the churros and empanadas, both of which were delicious and definitely worth trying. Overall, its a really cool place and a great place to go with a group for tacos. It's been a while since I've been to TCB on Delaware but happy to say my experience was just as good! A family member and I rolled in around 6pm on a Tuesday and were able to grab a parking spot with relative ease. If I have any complaints, it's I wish parking was a bit more, "defined", as the parking spots nearby make it seem like you can't actually park there, but for the most part, most spots nearby are fair game. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by one of the young servers who told us to sit where ever we'd like - bar or table. We chose a high-table in the corner to see the bar, TVs, and do some people watching. Our server, Tori, was great! Tori immediately came to our table and told us to scan the QR code on the napkin-holder to see the food and drink menus and listed off the beers on draught. She made sure to bring waters with our beers - much appreciated. She gave us the right amount of time to read over the menu and did a great job checking in throughout our meal, while serving several other tables. She was plenty nice and friendly, a big factor for me when I dine out (in the rare case I'm not just calling in a pizza, my "norm" haha). For dinner, I went with a special quesadilla: the Philly Quesadilla - 10" flour tortilla filled with chopped ribeye steak, cheddar cheese, diced peppers and onions, with house queso on the side. Now, I typically don't get quesadillas because I worry it won't fill me up, but that was certainly not the case here! This was plenty of food, everything tasted fresh, and was cooked perfectly, to me. There were plenty of fillings within and the tortilla was nicely crisped. The house queso, with a couple drops of chipotle house sauce, on each piece equals bliss. A quesadilla and a cold beer made for an excellent dinner and left me the right level of full. I thought the price for our quesadillas was fair as I thought they were plenty big and fresh. Note that it may take a little longer to make compared to the tacos they make but it's worth it! TCB's on Delaware is great! To me, it has a local bar/restaurant feel with a comfortable, yet modern, dining area, nice-size bar, some TVs, friendly, young staff, and great food. read more

I came here for lunch on a weekday for tacos and margaritas. I wasn't a fan of the mango margarita or the spicy cucumber margarita.. and the ribeye tacos were really burnt and lacking in flavor. The buffalo chicken taco was okay but the fish taco was really good! Id say Moes queso is a lot better than theirs. And Our server wasn't the best.. she didn't seem happy to be there. Visiting my hometown, had an opportunity to try these Philly cheese steak tacos....All I can say is WOW!!!! They are delicious from start to finish. I say this because I remember this part of Delaware Avenue when Millard Fillmore Hospital was open. Now there are new streets that were created and it's all residential, so this restaurant fits the vibe of the neighborhood. Easy parking! If you don't find a spot in the Brylin parking lot, there's ample parking on those new side streets. Other things to note: chips are homemade, guacamole is great. Had to work late and the family had dinner at the in-laws, so that left me open to whatever I was in the mood for. I realized I don't treat myself to enough tacos, so figured tacos and beer at the bar would be a nice choice to hit the hunger. First time here and the ambiance was good for a Tuesday night. Not packed but enough to enjoy the air of good vibes from others in the community while not being loud or crazy. Sat at the bar and the bartender wiped quickly down the area and pointed me to the QR code menu. Now one of my only gripes is for a place to have beer in its name the draft selection was a bit to be desired but I found a local Pressure Drop IPA that did hit the spot. For tacos I got a Carnitas, Iberia, and Nashville hot. All 3 hit the spot in different ways. With the meat in all being plentiful and tasty. $6 beer and at $22 total before tip with it and the tacos had me seeing some value price wise. This place was a surprise discovery for me. I was badly craving tacos on a Sunday afternoon and I found this place on Yelp pretty close to where I live so I thought I'd give it a shot. It has a very 'sports bar' vibe and since we went when there were no games airing, it was pretty empty. It has a very large space so it would be perfect for big gatherings. They also have multiple TVs strategically placed at every angle so it is an ideal spot to be to catch a game with friends. The food itself was decent. I got Greek falafel taco and TCB beyond taco. Together they made a good meal and tasted fine. It was nothing super delicious but nothing bad either. My friend got a rice bowl with chicken and that looked a lot more appetizing (even though I don't eat meat). I think the name TACOS, COMMUNITY and BEER really does summarize what it is all about! read more

Today was my first time here and I love every little thing about this place. I can't believe I didn't come here sooner! I passed by everyday and finally dined in with a friend today since he wanted some tacos. My friend lives right across the street but it was also his first time. We walked over there so we didn't have to worry about parking. For some customers, the parking will be a little difficult especially if you're not from around here, but there are street parkings available close by where you can walk to the restaurant. Service: The staff members are really nice. One bartender in particular caught my attention when he greeted a family of four ( 2 kids, 2 adults) even though he was busy making drinks, he still took the time to greet them on the other side of the entrance ( been to a lot of restaurants and bartenders usually don't take the time to greet guests since they feel that it's the servers job.) Our waitress Miranda was wonderful and attentive. Being a waitress can sometimes be exhausted as I've been a waitress myself for over four years, but she have positive attitude towards her customers. Appetizer: we started off with chips and queso. Our appetizer came out less than 5 minutes along with my margarita, awesome!!! We refilled our chips and queso two times because it was that good! Rice bowl with pork belly: I love pork belly but I haven't find a restaurant that serves good pork belly beside Korean bbq place where you grill it yourself, however, this place changed my whole perspective! To some people, the pork belly might seems a little burned but it's perfect for my personal preference. I added everything beside the guacamole and sour cream to my rice bowl and loved it! For me to order the pork belly was risky because I like them in a particular way but it's like the chef read my mind and cooked it to a perfection! Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla: my friend loved it. He said the price and the portion is perfect. He also loved his tacos as well, but we both had to pack some since we ate too much chips before our entrees. I came here recently with my husband on a break from work. Our waitress was pleasant and greeted us right away. The place was clean and decorated nicely. I especially liked the televisions by the bar. Our waitress offered us margaritas to start with, but since I had to go back to work, I couldn't imbibe. They sounded delicious, though. I ended up getting a lemonade and my husband, as always, ordered unsweetened iced tea. For starters, we ordered chips with chorizo queso. I absolutely loved the taste of the chorizo and the queso was fresh and warm. The tortilla chips were good, too. Next, I ordered a chorizo taco and got some elote as well. I liked the taco just fine, but I wouldn't write home about it. The elote was disappointing because I thought I'd be getting a corn on the cob with cotija cheese and elote seasoning. Instead, the corn and other ingredients were mixed together in a small bowl. It tasted okay, but was a little too spicy for me. We ate pretty quickly, so our server gave us our check promptly. We paid and left with full bellies. I really like the location and how this restaurant is set up. The service and most of the food is great. Some not so great things I will chalk up to the restaurant just being new. I bet in a few more months they will have ironed out the kinks. I'm definitely coming back for that margarita! read more

Stopped in for taco Tuesday and left kind of disappointed. Ordered three tacos, molida (ground beef), rib eye caprese, and Johnny's buffalo chicken. I also tried the elote (street corn). Molida was small and I ordered sour cream to be put on it for 50 cents extra. There was the smallest amount of sour cream, I could barely enjoy it. Rib eye caprese - wanted to try something different and this was on their gourmet menu. The menu describes the meat as a rib eye (USDA cut), it was at most a burger patty. A circle thrown in to one side of a tortilla shell. There was no seasoning, found it to be very bland even with the balsamic glaze. Johnny's buffalo chicken - this gourmet taco container shredded chicken. The chicken had loads of salt. I guess the seasoning from the burger made its way to the chicken instead. However the buffalo sauce was delicious and the chopped carrots & celery tried to mask the taste of the salt and made it bearable. And lastly the elote- spicy corn if you will. Very minimal cojita cheese found on the very top of the bowl. I did enjoy however that I was served as loose corn kernels instead of on the cob. Muslch easier to eat just wish it was more that just a sprinkle of cheese. (Pictures attached for all) The best part of the meal was the mild salsa. For starters, I'm only giving them 2 stars because their queso was DECENT. I came here for a night out with my boyfriend, hoping to spend a decent amount of time here. However, immediately as I walk in I am met with a stale, boring environment. I'm pretty sure my boyfriend compared it to a "bowling alley" and "school cafeteria". Due to this, we didn't care how decent the food could have been. We got our drink (which was OK) had a nibble of chips (which were served in paper plates and cups) and queso, and left immediately. The margaritas are so good and flavorful! The queso is quite a large bowl, and very enjoyable. Decided to try this place after seeing it while driving in the city. What a hidden gem! I took a picture but after the guilt of having almost every taco on the menu so I won't post because it does not justify my experience. We asked the waiter not to judge us. We ordered two Mineo and Sapio sausage tacos and OMG what a wonderful combination. Also ordered the blackened fish taco, pollo taco and the Korean taco with a side of rice and the chorizo queso. Again no judgement. Everything was fantastic!!! Service was amazing. Sat on the patio and had a nice day date. It's nice to see so many people walking and traveling in city. This is TCB's new downtown location, located in the ground floor of a building on Delaware Ave, minutes from the heart of the elmwood village and Allen St. They have a great sized patio for outdoor seating and a large indoor bar. The menu is the same as the transit road location and just as yummy. We went for taco Tuesday and they had a $6 margarita special running. If like tequila, you will love their cocktails. If you are more of a beer drinker, they have an extensive selection of canned craft brews to choose from as well. You can either choose from their gourmet tacos, which have all the ingredients predetermined, or you can create your own with whatever toppings you like. This is a very odd location with horrible parking. There is barely any parking in front of the restaurant. The parking ramp was closed. So we had to just park where ever we could. The menu is the exact same as the original location. The tacos are good. I had the Philly cheesecake, Johnny's big Mac, and a Greek falafel taco. The Greek taco was the best. The Philly and big Mac tacos were just ok. I also ordered the elote. It just didn't have enough cheese mixed into the corn for the large serving. I came here on a Thursday night and they had a good crowd, but I didn't have to wait long to be seated on the patio. Even though it was a cool night, the heaters made it comfortable to sit outside. I had a strawberry margarita and it was delicious! Just the right ratio of margarita mix to alcohol - not overly sweet. I shared some chips and mild salsa and chorizo queso with a friend. I'm glad I opted for the mild salsa cause there was definitely a kick. But it was very good and tasted fresh. The queso with chorizo was the scene stealer! I could've eaten a whole order by myself.
