I've been looking forward to coming her for months! Mother's day weekend was the perfect opportunity. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We arrived about 830 and they're open till 11. We were told he had to order before we pick a seat and sit down. We just wanted to settle in and look over the menu. Instead we were rushed to pick and only has so many options to pick from. Due to being sold out . We ordered 4 tacos (chicken birria, steak and cheese, shrimp po boy , and honey garlic fried chicken). A side of chips and queso , and 2 of there mango/ coco margaritas. It took 40 min to get our chips. Which we went up and asked to get them. They arrived burnt. We asked for a new batch and waa told there are no more chips (and that's why we got what we got ). I kindly asked for a refund, and the manager waa happy to help. I'm currently still waiting for the refund. The bartender was not only rude and very unapproachable, I felt like we we're bothering her. I asked what flavor frozen margaritas they had today and I was told "didn't you read the board!". I brushed it off still orderd and the drinks was delicious. Dare I say the only good thing we had that night . The bartender then proceeded to asked tables if they would like to take pictures for social media page. She skipped only our table! Didnt ask. Little did she know I've been waiting to eat here for so long , and a Yelp elite. We brushed it off and tried to enjoy or frozen treat . Food came out about a little over an hour later. Super excited to eat. Everything looked and smelled great, but that waa not the case at all. Anything that was fried (shrimp, fried chicken) all had the old grease taste and was very over cooked. The consommè for the birria taco literally tasted like cinnamon and old and the taco its self had no flavor. The honey garlic fried chicken was the best tasting one besides the grease taste that one was promising. I would probably never eat here again solely due to the service and unwelcomed feeling we received . Saw the videos of the soft serve margaritas and awesome looking food, so we had to check it out. Service was great with friendly staff who love to introduce you to all of the unique options. The self seat dining offers plenty of interior seating along with a patio on the side. Each bite we took of the three tacos we tried, the more we were delighted by the flavors. We would order all three of these tacos again, with our favorite being the honey garlic fried chicken taco due to its delicious flavor and amazing sauce. The soft serve margaritas are not to be missed. We'd go back just for those. We had the lemon mango twist flavor of the day and it was a real treat. It felt more like dessert than a drink. I was so excited to come here because it's been on my list for years and unfortunately it wasn't as great as I hoped. Being the first time, we weren't sure how everything worked and when we walked in we just had a menu thrown at us and when you're ready come back to the counter to order. Not very inviting and not asking if we have questions. I asked if there were any specials and was told it's on the menu. I meant a speciality taco they were featuring and they said no and by the way we don't have brisket. So the brisket taco I wanted to try wasn't even available! If you have items on your menu, you should have them available otherwise it should be a random featured taco or "special". Anyway we ordered and they took our name but no instructions what to do. There were numbers on the table so it looked like they were taken by others that may have stepped outside (there were many people waiting outside for their order) so we asked where we can sit and they said "anywhere". So we sat and hoped no one came back to say we took their seats. It all worked out fine and apparently the numbers mean nothing so they should have taken them off the tables. We also had to ask how to order a drink from "the bar" which was the smallest bar and people were sitting at it that you couldn't see a menu or anything. We had to go back to the first counter with the not so friendly people to ask how to order drinks and the available flavors and again just pointed to a white board like we should know the drill. The frozen margarita was good so I will give them that but the tacos were just ok. I tried the Philly cheesesteak and it was a small amount of steak and cheese and not much flavor. The jerk chicken one was very filled and had many flavors but somehow still dry and both came out cold. I've heard the rumors, I've seen the pics. Today I got to experience the strength of the taste. The super polite woman at the counter got our order taken within a few minutes of walking in the the door and we took our seat in the clean and art laden dining area. Those wall murals.. awesome. The stinger taco was loaded with some tender and flavorful steak and chicken finger, and the Nashville hot taco was loaded with sauced fingers and Mac... both crispy and rich with amazing flavor, and the smoked queso, I coulda used more , it was absolutely incredible. This shoulda be a 4 star but the problem was the wait. 30 minutes to make 4 tacos in a very lightly filled dining room. The first two things I tried to order they were out of. The margarita soft serve type drink was very good,excellent in fact. Three of the food items out of the five we tried were pretty good. The jerk chicken tacos are to die for! they come with a pineapple pico that is soooo good. It really pairs well with the spice of the jerk chicken. Hands down my favorite tacos here! Stopped in for lunch, what a shit show. Tables were either dirty or wobbly. The soft serve flight took over 20 mins and they didn't even give us spoons till we just took them ourselves. The outer shell was crispy and oh the flavors were great. This visit was semi disappointing. It was not busy at all, we were only ones there at first to order. The people who came in behind us to order got their food first. The food was lukewarm including queso that came out. Shells weren't as crispy. The place was pretty cold inside that I had eat with a coat on. I had Doms taco which is more classic style taco and that was tasty. Beef had great taste. The birria taco had good flavor but was bit too spicy for me. Stinger was bit dry and lacking in flavor. If this was my first visit, I'd give 5 stars. But it just wasn't the same today. My companion really enjoyed the Traditional Beef Birria. The interior walls of the restaurant are covered in colorful murals. Combined with the dance music, this place is fun and energetic. This is one of the most popular taco spots in Buffalo for good reason! I had only tried their tacos once before at a concert so I definitely had their new location on my list to get to as soon as I could. They opened up at noon and I got there just as they were opening the doors. There was already a line forming to get in. I can imagine a lot of people in Larkinville are coming here on their lunch breaks. I ordered the combo that came with two tacos, chips, queso, and a drink. Awesome combination and I loved the prices for it too. I didn't get the trendy birria taco this time. Instead, I opted for the big mac style taco and then just a standard taco as well. Everything was delicious and I washed it down with a loganberry. Talk about a Buffalo lunch for sure. The only warning I have is they are busy from open to close it seems so when you go, make sure you have the time to wait. They are pretty quick with orders but it can always take longer than expected. Especially with all the online orders they get too. This was my second time having DA taste and first in the restaurant. I went around 9:30pm so it was not busy. The restaurant is cute with decent seating. We were warned it would be a 30-35 minute wait to get our food and it was maybe slightly longer. But the wait was worth it. I got the beef birria and my partner got the fish tacos. We also got the lavender mint lemonade. All were delicious. Two things that I just want to just mention. One, the fish tacos didn't list that they came with cheese but they did. I think making sure that is listed on the menu would be wise for our lactose-free friends. Two, it's on the expensive side for tacos and lemonade. I tried their taco combo, which came with two tacos, a drink, and chips and queso. for my tacos I got the Nashville fried taco and the Stinger taco. Both were delicious and flavorful! I also got two additional tacos to try more of the traditional options, including the Birria taco and one called Dom's taco. This were good as well, but definitely didn't hit as hard as the bold flavors of the other two. The chips were supposed to come with a smoked queso, but that was missing from my order and since this was a pick up, I didn't realize it until I was home already. The chips themselves were fine though. Just used my own salsa with them. While the tacos were delicious, I can't say that I love the idea of spending 6 to 8 dollars on a taco, but for an occasional indulgent, you won't go wrong here for some fun and tasty options. read more

They seemed to be appropriately staffed, but our tacos took about 45 minutes to come. the staff was friendly and they did offer us free tortilla chips while we waited. We both ordered two tacos each. When the food finally came out, the tacos were so tiny. That's fine, as I've heard they are great. This was some of the most blandest food Ive had. Tasteless dry beef in my birria, with minimal to no toppings and condiments. A little over $50 for a very tasteless meal, after waiting over 45 minutes. Granted Tex-Mex food gets worse the more North you drive, this takes tasteless food to a whole new level. I don't see how locals rave about this place, unless we caught them on a very off night. Finally had the chance to try this place! I been dying to try it. It is located on the corner. There are street parking s for customers. There is no indoor seating, just outdoor. You order at the window. When I went with my husband they only had ramen and was sold out of their eggrolls. Make sure to check their menu and IG before going. It wasn't an issue for me because I wanted to try their ramen. I will def look out for their tacos since it's hard for me to go in Tuesday cause of work. The wait for about 30 mins when I went but they were super busy. I ordered the brisket ramen, my husband ordered the beef birria, and my friend ordered the porkhouse. It was a big portion to me. The spice for me was just right, lots of flavors. It was so good. We could smell in the car on the way home. My husband really enjoyed his too and I did try it, it was delicious. The porkhouse contains pork belly, bacon, and pulled pork I believe which my friend said it was really good. I def want to try that next time. There was one teeny downside about it was that the ramen is not separate for takeout. There wasn't enough broth in it by the time we go home and we were worry that the noodles was going to get soggy but good thing it didn't, and we didn't live that far. Wish there was more soup to it. I was excited to see a new taco spot in the area, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The tacos were overly greasy and lacked freshness. The atmosphere felt a bit unwelcoming. If you need something as simple as a fork or water, you have to ask the staff behind the counter, which wouldn't be an issue if they were more approachable. Despite the place being nearly empty, the employees at the front made it seem like any request was an inconvenience. The most frustrating part was trying to order ice cream. I watched multiple people get served at the counter, yet when I stood in the same spot, I was ignored. After waiting patiently, the staff member acted as if they didn't know why I was there and then directed me to the back of the line--despite the fact that I had been standing there before the others who were served. Again, the attitude from the staff made me feel like I was a bother just for asking. The real issue seems to be poor organization and a lack of customer service.
