We came here for an early midweek dinner. We were seated immediately and ordered the chips and salsa and some cocktails. My mom and I both ordered the al pastor tacos. They were good - not authentic or super flavorful but nonetheless they were enjoyable. A solid option in Buffalo!

Service in the restaurant is amazing. The Ambiance itself is in the heart of Allen town. Making it a great spot to get drinks and a small bite to eat before partying on the town.Food brought a different component seeing is that the chicken was seasoned nice while the shrimp being battered and fried took away from the overall flavor. Covering it with a rich sauce didn't help the quality of the seafood itself. Moving on to the beef , while seasoned heavy the enough of salt or seasoning used can be much at times but all in all a great experience

Absolutely outrageous. My wife & I attended brunch yesterday afternoon. Left a $5 tip for a couple drinks. The bartender attempted to charge $500 to the debit card!!! We will never be going back.

I wanted to update my review for Casa Azul. I ate here when they first opened and was pretty unimpressed. However, I think they have improved after visiting recently for a meeting and having drinks and food. The tacos are different, and the fillings and tortillas are better. The shrimp tacos contain lightly battered perfectly fried shrimp and I'd come back just for these. The potato and poblano taco was also a flavorful vegetarian option. We also ordered a skillet of meatballs that came with several tortillas and a generous amount of sauce. This resulted in even more meatball tacos and provided quite a meal for two. We also had some lovely drinks. They were artfully presented and quite good. Churros were our dessert choice and they were crispy, sweet, and a perfect ending. We also had the very pleasant experience of sitting at the back bar and patio area that can be closed off for weather and faces even more patio seating for warmer months. It's quite beautiful back there and I recommend you ask to sit back there sometime.

It's not that I wouldn't recommend this business, but I thought it was only OK... the interior has a nice ambiance and is tastefully decorated... Buuuutttt, First of all, bathrooms were on the dirty side, and for it to be a Latino restaurant, there was a visible lack of any person from the Latino community inside... We ordered the octopus tostado for $18, and I guess we expected there to be more than one on the plate... it was very good with tender chunks of octopus, chunks of pineapple, sprouts on top, with a crisp shell nestled on a bed of guacamole... it was very good, but for the price, there should have been more than one It was taco Tuesday, so we each ordered a trio of tacos. They were discounted by $2... the shrimp taco was the best in the trio... the sauce drizzled over the fried shrimp, and veggies was the high light... the fish taco lacked flavor and gusto, just meh... the al pastor taco had some nicely seasoned meat and was the second best taco on the board, and in my table mate's trio, she ordered the Brussel sprout taco... she barely ever eats salt, but thought this needed some salt or more seasoning. The tacos were pretty bland... We ordered a basket of chips and salsa for $5, and the salsas were very flavorful, not hot spicy, but well seasoned. The chips were unexpectedly bland and not warm... we were assured they were fresh at the beginning of the shift but I wouldn't recommend them... So, it was an OK meal, but I won't be hurrying back

Great food. Great service. The location is right in the middle of all the fun stuff! If you enjoy a nice patio, then this is your spot!

The rating is heavily leaning on the food, which for me wasn't great. I got their queso and I'm not sure if it was the ingredients that combined to taste burnt or if the bottom of it was actually burnt, but it left an unpleasant taste for me. Unfortunately, my chicken was also decently dry. The chips were super salty, but I happen to like them that way. Our server was lovely, but it took longer to get basic drinks (no cocktails) than the actual food, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the agua fresca (basil peach) I got was delicious. I would give it another shot and try something different, as I could tell the place is beloved and has lots of regulars. I'm hoping I just got an off night.

The service was excellent and the food was great. We did not wait long at all. The place was clean and modern with a comfortable ambiance.

I'm not gonna lie, when Casa Azul was at their old location, I was not a fan... like, I went a few times, tried different things and ultimately, I swore it off because nothing on the menu did it for me. BUT, since moving to their new location on Allen, things have changed! The menu is updated, and I'm so here for it. We always start with the queso (which is a must at any Mexican-style restaurant) and my go-to dish is the pescado. It's hard to explain, but for the pescado dish, the cod is in a broth and seasoned with various spices. It's topped with pumpkin seeds, which at first might seem odd, but it adds a different layer of texture to the dish. They also top the queso with pumpkin seeds, so if you're not into that, just ask them to keep them off. The margaritas are freshly made and they offer a variety! The service is friendly and prompt and the vibes give off the typical Allentown energy. Overall, the move from downtown to Allen was a good choice and I'm glad I gave this place another shot!

Came to try some Mexican food, the ambiance was nice and I loved all the greenery they had indoors. Our server was not the friendliest. We ordered the guacamole and chips which was great. There was a lot of fresh chips. The rice and beans was okay, a little dry and my boys did not like it. The tacos were good, I tried the shrimp, fish and al pastor. All was tasty and shrimp had a little kick to it. The meat in the al pastor was tasty and the tortilla looks fresh pressed. Overall it was good, but I was not super wowed by the food.

I just love this place! Tortillas are amazing and seem homemade. I love all the drinks and variety they offer. Appetizers are shareable. Staff is super friendly and bartenders make a great drink. The charred Caesar is a MUST! We also tried the oxtail taquitos which are delicious. The place is super cute and modern. If you need help picking a taco the Al pastor is the absolute best. If I had to critique it the apps seem to need some salt and the searing process is a little janky / super close to the door which causes a traffic jam.

Cucumber Jalepeno marg

The only saving grace was the chips, guac and ambiance. Food and service was bad- Took a couple bites of everything and left It there. Ordered specific BOGO drinks (Wed specials from 4-7) at 6:40 pm...by the time miserable waitress came back around, It was too late to get the free second drink? what we already paid for...so the BOGO didn't apply. And wasn't fixed when we brought It up.

Caza Azul offers delectable and fairly portioned Mexican options at a very fair price. I split the Queso Fundido with my friend, which had a great flavor profile and honey on top which I enjoyed! The homemade chips were also delicious. For dinner, I ordered the three vegetarian tacos - I loved that they let you mix and match what tacos you get so that you can try different styles! It's a great place to go for vegetarians as everything is clearly marked on the menu which makes it easy to order. They have so many margarita flavors which were all unique and fun to try! The inside is a little cramped, but nicely decorated and very trendy. The waiters were working hard although it seemed they were a bit understaffed.

It's a very casual, no-fuss spot with a few high tables and a bunch of chairs. The colorful furniture, artwork on the walls, and overall hospitable atmosphere make grabbing a quick meal on the spot not a bad idea. We only ordered a few tacos. All were loaded with meat, some onion, and cilantro. We asked for mild and medium-hot salsa, which was served in small, perfectly sized containers. I enjoyed my chicken taco a lot. The double tortilla held everything perfectly. The menu has plenty of interesting options. I'd definitely go back without hesitation. One more thing. The people who worked there were polite and friendly. It's always nice to experience a genuine smile when I leave a restaurant. It feels like I'm always invited and appreciated.

Quick, friendly service, tasty food and a real party vibe!…read moreMy parents and I visited for lunch and there were a decent amount of people dining at the bar & seated at tables. We started with complimentary chips & salsa, a frozen paloma and jalapeno poppers. The chips & salsa were good, but pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant. The paloma had a nice grapefruity taste and came garnished with a beautiful edible flower. The jalapeno poppers were just a cooked from frozen appetizer (my dad's pick) and in my opinion they were ok. Definitely not something I would choose to order at a Mexican restaurant haha. We all enjoyed our main entrees, which were a good size for the cost and were filling. We had a chicken enchilada, chicken fajitas and chimichanga.

When I went inside to pick it up, I noticed the space was decorated with colorful Mexican accents and had a warm, welcoming feel. Everything looked clean and well kept, which I always appreciate. Service was quick and the pickup process was smooth. I ordered the chicken tacos and guacamole. The guacamole was made in a way I have never had before, and I actually really enjoyed it. It had a different twist that worked well. The chicken tacos were good. If I am being picky, I usually prefer pulled chicken on my tacos, but I still enjoyed them overall. It was a nice, quick stop and I am glad we decided to grab food here while passing through.
