    STREET TACOS

Service and hospitality and vibes are a 10/10. Food came out reasonably fast although my daughter had a cheese quesadilla and french fries and that took the longest. I had the street tacos 2 chicken and 2 carnitas. Honestly the best I've ever had. Will def be back again in the future!

Food was great, server was great. I started my review with five stars, I felt like food and service were amazing the first time I came. Second time our server seemed to not be so attentive, seemed annoyed we were there. The food was also inconsistent. Very disappointed, dropped my score down to a 4 unfortunately for this reason. But the gummy bear marg was great both times! And I do love how the restaurant is decorated.

Very nice establishment, conveniently located at the intersection of Main and Transit in Amherst. Adequate parking. They bring water to your table in an empty tequila bottle, which is a nice touch for this Mexican food eatery. Besides a nice assortment of tequilas and Mezcal's, they do have a full bar staffed by a bartender who knows how to mix a drink. There are large screen high-def televisions strategically placed around this large space, with someone controlling the channels from an unseen location, and they change channels fairly frequently without explanation, at least on the one occasion that I was there. If there had been a Bills game on, and the channel was changed, it would've resulted in property damage for sure and possibly personal injury, but since it was a news program, nobody really cared that much. Multicolored tasty warm tortilla chips are brought to the table automatically with a salsa that by most standards would be considered quite good except that I hate cilantro, so for me it was dry chips. I probably could've asked for a salsa without cilantro, but I didn't think of it. The entire experience was made quite enjoyable because of an attentive waiter named Ian. He knew the menu and worked hard to keep the food coming. The menu itself is quite deep, and although seafood options are limited, everything else of a Mexican nature was covered nicely. I do need to come back to try more of their offerings, but everything that I ordered was cooked properly, nicely seasoned, and was presented attractively on the plate.

I don't like that I ordered churos for $11 and got a bag full of corn tortilla chips with it. The menu didn't mention that I was getting the. And i only got mini churos. This was NOT WHAT I ORDERED OR WAS EXPECTING FOR $11

Our server definitely needed more training... After about 5 minutes of being seated and looking at the menu our server finally came over with some glasses and chips and salsa then left again. She did not even take our drink orders. When she did come back for the drink orders, we asked what was on tap and she read the list off of the little thing, but it didn't say what type of drink it was just the brewers name, she didn't know what any of the drinks actually were. We asked what the "12 Gates" was, she said she thinks it's raspberry. Then we asked for an IPA, and she said the 12 gates was an IPA..... so Kyle ordered the 12 gates, and guess what... it was not an IPA. So Kyle walked to the bar to look at the taps... it was a lager. & I ordered a Paloma. She brought our drinks over and walked away again, still no ordering any food for us... Paloma 6/10 Tastes like sprite honestly. Not grapefruit at all. Chips & Salsa 9/10 The salsa was a very good mild salsa. I liked that the chips were multi colored as well. Tableside guac 7/10 I don't recommend from here.. Very plain avocado tasting. Needed some more salt, cilantro and lime to bring those flavors out. Tacos Chicken - 9/10 seasoned beautifully and cooked well. Very good. I added some of our guac and salsa to them as well. Chorizo - 9/10 Seasoned and cooked well. The green salsa on the side of the tacos is VERY spicy. My mouth was burning for about 10 mins.

This is definitely one of my top 3 choices when I think of Mexican cuisine! I love their salsa and it's almost never crowded when I decide to stop in. The servers are always very friendly and great at giving suggestions! I am a fan of the mexican street corn at the fair, so if you're looking for something similar in taste to that theirs is a close try! The restaurant is very spacious and does have a bar area.

The menu is extensive and the wait staff was simply ideal. We enjoyed ourselves having a good meal. Whether I was relaxed, I'm not sure :). The early afternoon music selection was great, fun and energetic. Perhaps I ate my food too quickly, but I couldn't help myself. The La Bandera was three enchiladas, one cheese, one ground beef and one shredded chicken, topped with three different sauces. It was good. Maybe if there was more green sauce, it would be even better. The small side of salad with a good amount of avocado was refreshing. From the beginning to the end of our stay, I felt welcomed and invited. I almost took a photo of myself wearing one of the beautiful sombreros placed around the dining room. They looked like new, super colorful and sparkly.

Our waiter got us set up in a reasonable amount of time at a table that was a "little tacky" and by tacky I mean sticky (I did see someone wiping tables post meals). We ordered a couple margaritas because why not enjoy a frosty marg with tacos and the frozen lime one .... Definitely delivered on the booze. The chips and salsa were a big hit with the little yelper, and the salsa was a little runny for my Liking but it was definitely good. We started off with some nachos and this kinda set the tone for the rest of the meal. The queso on this dish was literally like a runny wet texture, most queso tends to be a lot thicker than this and the chicken was a touch bland, those chips had no chance with this queso, they all got a bit soggy in no time. We also had a heavy quantity of tacos ordered. 3 beef and 6 chicken. The beef tacos were pretty bland, as were the chicken tacos (dripping with water). But for $1 tacos I guess it wasn't too bad. I'm just guessing that the chicken is boiled because the amount of moisture was pretty decent. The beans carried the runny theme as well, with the rice being the most non soggy item we came across. Overall though it's $1 tacos, so we can't set the bar too high with them.

I came here with some family who were visiting from out of town. We wanted somewhere that everyone could eat at since we have omnis, GFs, and vegans. Love that there were options for everyone. However, my partner and I ordered the guacamole azteca which came out with cheese clearly on it and mixed in. I asked the server immediately if it was cheese and he said no, they would never put cheese in it. I had my doubts but thought perhaps it could be finely minced garlic. So we started eating. About halfway through we hit a pocket of unmixed cheese and I stopped eating. Asked the server a second time who denied it was cheese. He claims he also asked in the kitchen and they assured him it wasn't cheese. Well, it was- I got sick that night. My vegan dinner was small- no rice or beans. Just two sad little enchiladas with very little filling. There was a pile of iceburg lettuce next to them with a small scoop of pico. But all in all, the meal is NOT worth the price. The vegan options were the same price or more than the meat options, but came out with half the food on the plate. I felt this meal deserved only 1 star, but the fact that there were vegan options on the menu bumped it up to 2 stars. I will not be going back, I would much rather eat elsewhere in a more quiet atmosphere where the servers and kitchen staff KNOW what they put dairy in.
