So I was looking for a unique brunch for my birthday. After searching for days, I came across Andale Cantina. I loved the ability that you can make reservations for a large group and that you can order both brunch and off their regular menu. The decor: lf you are from the area, then you'd know that the building was once a Friday's and then most recently Dad's prior to becoming Andale Cantina. Let's me tell you place is a whole vibe!! The colors, the designs and music !! It kind of reminds me of Agave and Rye, in Cincinnati,Ohio ( if you have been, please go, but that's another review, lol) The menu was massive, and like I said, you can order both brunch and off their regular menu.. They have options like Churro waffles and a kids' menu, and when I tell you this drink menu seemed like it never ended !! Unfortunately, they were very understaffed that day, I made reservations for at least 14 people. Our waitress was not only taking orders by herself, but she was also bartending. As you can imagine, orders got messed up multiple times, and a few never came and / or came over very late. I only have a picture of my drink because my food came out, so i late devoured it too quickly to take a photo, lol. I was a little disappointed that the manager didn't come out to apologize, but i imagine they were too busy putting out the multiple fires of the day. So I get it !! Positive: Our waitress was sweetie and definitely did her best given the circumstances. I know she had to be frustrated, but she handled herself professionally and attempted to fix each problem as they arose. The food was really good, I ordered the chicken arepas, such a great flavor and surprisingly filling !! And the drinks !!! I, of course, got the unlimited mimosa, because why not? !! Best decision ever because of their multiple flavor options and the beautiful floral garnish. One of my cousins got the maragirita flight, which she raved over !! Overall, to be honest, many of my guests were frustrated with the experience but understanding. I was a little disappointed with this being my birthday brunch. However, the food and drinks were good, and our waitress handled herself well !! Honestly, I've heard great reviews from this location as well as their tequila bar downtown. Therefore, I'd definitely be open to coming back again in hopes for a better experience because this place definitely has potential!

Was a bit disappointed with the food here. It lacked flavor and was dry. Most of the dishes needed to be more saucy. We ordered the mucho grande burrito, Tex mex, chimichangas and banderas enchiladas. I'm used to chimichangas being more saucy and cheesy. It was just full of shredded chicken. I've been to several Mexican restaurants, and this one did not meet my expectations unfortunately. I think the best dish of what we ordered was the Tex mex dinner. However, we did enjoy the drinks we ordered. Also, the service was great and everyone was friendly.

Andale was just ok. Nothing wrong with service or anything but the food was just sort of plain. Even my friend who doesn't like anything exciting with his food called his meal (I believe he had enchiladas) bland. I had the carnitas and felt the same way. Our tortilla chips were served warm which was great but some tasted sort of burnt. It wasn't a horrible experience but it missed the mark for us and didn't deliver anything that gave us a desire to return.

Two chicken tacos for $11.99 combo are 4/5. Fajitas Texanas - are 4/5. Chicken, beef and shrimp. Chicken dish called Pollo Madrina - grilled chicken breast 3/5. Meat was a bit rubbery. Strange to have combo of carrots and cauliflower thrown into the vegetable mix in this dish. Really does not go with Mexican fare. There was only one couple dining in the restaurant when I picked up my takeout order. Appears to be clean. The staff was friendly. I look forward to trying this restaurant again and sampling the margaritas and service component. I would say a bill of $55 proximately for the three dishes is pricey. Good food. East Amherst prices.

Authentic Mexican food, that you can see in the photo was ample! Prices were on par with other Mexican restaurants with the exception of the drinks. I could get a regular margarita just about anywhere else for 1/2 the cost of one here, which is why I opted for a beer instead. The atmosphere was truly Mexican, decor and music.

Andale has pretty good Mexican food. Their ingredients taste fresh and not overly heavy like many Mexican restaurants. We ordered drinks while we were waiting for our takeout. The skinny margarita was very tasty so don't think you will be missing out on anything if you order it! They gave us free chips & salsa with our drinks. The salsa was a saucy consistency (not chunky), tasty with a bit of a spicy finish. The enchilada dinner came with cheese, beef, bean and chicken enchiladas. All of them were good. Enchiladas were topped with sauce, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. I thought they came with rice and beans but we didn't receive any with our order. Chile relleno was very good as well- Poblano pepper stuffed with cheese and covered with sauce. The service was fast and professional. Not my top Mexican restaurant in the Buffalo area but definitely in the top 3.

Mistake number one was sitting at the bar. The bartender spent the majority of her time talking to her friends. It was a significant amount of time before she even took our order. For a second I thought it could be because it was Taco Tuesday but it was nearly empty! I'm hoping and believing that it wasn't intentional but it felt as such. When it was time to order the bartender was legit not able to answer any of the questions that we had. Everything came out separately. Let's start with the appetizer. I had to ask multiple times to get chips and salsa. When I finally got it I ate it quickly becsuse I was starving and asked for more which I never received! My friend ordered corn and it legit never even came until her entree came out. One person got they steak while the other two of us hadn't gotten our food. Well the next person got their meal and here I am still waiting for my food to come out. Which is a tad bit concerning because. When the bill came out there was a plethora of stuff on it that my friend did not have. Now as far as the food I throughly enjoyed vegan tacos. It was incredibly flsvorfu Misc We didn't get any silverware. The most disturbing thing was when the bartender bit off of a fork to try some food her friends offered her. I believe this is cross contamination. I don't plan to return back here because of alarming lack of awareness.
