Never a bad meal at Andale! I had el burra rancheros and my husband had chimichangas. Food was quick. Our server was friendly and very attentive. Love the decor! We were there early for dinner. It wasn't that crowded.

It kills me to update my review like this, but Andale is not what it used to be. I brought a friend here a few months ago (while there was still snow on the ground) and called to make sure they were wheelchair accessible because I honestly couldn't remember. We got all the way there, and the wheelchair accessible sidewalk was covered in snow. To say I was angry is an understatement. I called the next day to let them know and the manager barely spoke English. Fast forward 2 weeks and I stopped in with another friend, and almost slipped while opening the door. I caught myself on the handle, but my bones were feeling it. It took us THREE times to mention something to staff before someone went out there to de-ice. In the meantime we watched a few other people slip in the same spot. I brought another friend there again last night, and the service was terrible. The waiter also didn't speak any English when I was trying to ask questions about the menu. I realize it's a Mexican restaurant, but how do you have employees who speak little to no English? This posed a massive problem when I was trying to tell him that the bacon in the camarones a la momia was raw! A manager (or someone who at least spoke English) came out to investigate. She tried telling me that the bacon wasn't raw, and offered us another one. See picture that doesn't do it much justice. Bacon was slimy and cold, and parts of it were still pink. It was almost like half of it was cooked, and the other half was outside the frying pan. Against my better judgment, I agreed for them to prepare a new one for us. The rest of our meals came out and they were room temp, I felt bad saying anything because I felt like I was already being a hassle, which I wasn't trying to do. Just all around poor service and experience. We waited for the new Camarones a la Momia. We waited, and waited, and waited. At this point we have to get out of there. A manger came out to check up on us and I asked for them to not cook us a new Camarones a la Momia as we were running late for something. Manager insisted, but I told her we didn't want it anymore, and we just wanted the bill. The Camarones a la Momia came out, then our bill followed. We were charged for the appetizer despite us telling them that we didn't want it and the waiter was not helpful. Apologies if this review is all over the place. Just really disappointed with the way how things were handled.

La Quesabirria

I'm writing this from a food coma... I ordered Andale out for the first time tonight for dinner. I ordered the Birria tacos, it comes with chips, rice and beans. I ordered an extra side of queso. I am literally giving them 5 stars because queso is the best I've ever had. The birria is tender and delicious, it comes with consommé for dipping ( you would be surprised by how many restaurants don't include consommé). Food is excellent, and the restaurant was clean and smelled delicious upon entering. Thank you staff of Andale, you guys are amazing.

Chicken fajitas

Andale has quickly become a staple for my parents, so I was excited to try it for myself! My mom and I opted to get takeout, which can be hit or miss, but the food held up. And it held up well! I decided to get the chicken fajitas and they were 10/10. An ample portion of chicken and veggies, plenty of rice and side veggies. And everything was delicious! We also indulged in an order of chips, queso, and salsa and were pleased with how hot and fresh everything was. I'd love to order here again sometime. My mom is a huge fan of their shrimp tacos, so I know I've got to give them a shot. Don't pass this place up!

The food was incredible. My fried chicken chimichanga was sensational. Perfectly cooked - crunchy exterior, flavorful chicken inside, smothered in queso. My gawd it was amazing. Big gripe, I was still very hungry after polishing off my plate. I had to fill myself up on chips + salsa (which was also great). Not cool when spending over $20 on lunch.

Love the colors:).

I don't remember the last time I had a huge colorful Mexican restaurant plate for lunch. I just want to say, Andale fed us well and we truly enjoyed our visit. We had possibly the best view of the house, too. The colorful wall with beautiful murals and cute blue boots would put anyone in a festive mood. The complimentary chips and salsa were beautifully served. My chicken fajita burrito was full of tender, nicely spiced meat and perfectly crispy vegetables. The little side salad was served in a tortilla shell, how lovely:). The combination of beans and rice had a very pleasant taste as well. It was a late lunch and we were looking for a satisfying meal before going back to work. The service was great and the food came out from the kitchen quickly. We couldn't ask for more.

The chimichangas are very good, definitely one of my favorite things on the menu. The staff was nice and they weren't too busy so it was pretty easy to move around in my wheelchair and walk with my service dog.

I would like to give this 3.5 stars, not 3 and not 4... but anyway, there's some good but mostly avg. about Andale. My wife & I love Mexican food, and there's a spot on Harlem Rd in West Seneca that we frequent at least once per month (usually at least 2x/month), but they are closed Sunday/Monday, so we decided to try Andale b/c we've heard lots of folks raving about it. First, we got chips, salsa--bad start. The chips are out of a bag and have almost no flavor at all. The salsa didn't help matters. It wasn't awful, but nothing to write home about. Next, we ordered Margaritas... they looked awesome, but were on the weak side, IMO and pricey too. I've included the pics of our drinks, and I honestly forgot to take pics of the food. I ordered the chimichanga dinner, they were really good, but small. The queso was avg, but the beef was the best part of the dinner--very tender/moist and just awesome overall. The beans were sub-par, and the little side salad was really great in a tiny shell. I also ordered a quesadilla and chile relleno as well--both were good but not great. My wife ordered a combo meal and said the same thing about the beans, avg.; not awful, not great. Rice was decent. A very generous scoop of sour cream was given as an extra. Service was decent, not bad, not anything to remember. I dunno, I feel like I should give it another chance perhaps---but for what I spent, we had way less leftovers than usual. The easiest fix for them would be to do a better job w/their chips/salsa b/c it's the first thing we see & eat upon arrival. It would not cost much for them to make their own chips (fresh) and put some more flavor into the salsa.

Enchiladas supremas. 2 chicken 2 beef. Hubby said it was delicious and would order again. Raved about the flavor of the beef especially

Had a late lunch at Andale on French Rd I haven't been but my daughter has it's nice to get some chips and salsa while you wait nice crispy colorful chips and salsa was perfect not to spicy. I had a tequila sunrise nicely done with a sliced orange and my daughter had a frozen strawberry margarita rimed with salt and an orange, pineapple and lime on the rim very nice touches on the drink she enjoyed it also. We had a taco salad and the enchilada supremema. The enchiladas came 4 to the order a cheese,a ground beef,a shredded chicken and bean all we flavorful my favorite was the cheese and the bean ones . My daughter had the taco salad very good was plenty enough to take some home. The service was great right from the hostess to the 2 waiters we had! We came between shifts and both were intentive and very nice to go somewhere where the whole staff are great the prices aren't bad looks like a repeat visit is in the near future I'm also in the neighborhood and see the fire pits on. When the weather is better would be a fun place to sit and have a cocktail and appetizers

This spot was ok, but I think if I had a party of just 2 people it might have been better than a party of 15. The reason I say that is because we only had one waiter that was messing the order up but was doing the best that he could. My food was good but everyone else said that they wasn't getting what they order because of the large party we had.

My husband and I love sitting at the bar and watching the show of endless birthday singing, and patron sparklers with music. There is always music. You can't be in Margaritas and not smile at least once. The spirit in there is infectious. On this particular date, we got to catch some of the Sabres game, which was a treat and celebrate St. Patrick's weekend drinking margaritas. I got a flight, as always. I'm usually not a frozen marg girl, but when at Margaritas...plus on one flavor you always get a mini rubber duck and they are adorable and you can take it home with you. I like adding it to my collection in my Jeep. The standout marg was the watermelon. It wasn't too sweet. Prickly pear and dragon fruit were a little too sweet for me. Because I was hungry, but not hungry enough, I went with two side orders. I got a tostada and a taco. They were fine. My husband got a burrito and finished his meal. I came here with some family who were visiting from out of town. We wanted somewhere that everyone could eat at since we have omnis, GFs, and vegans. Love that there were options for everyone. However, my partner and I ordered the guacamole azteca which came out with cheese clearly on it and mixed in. I asked the server immediately if it was cheese and he said no, they would never put cheese in it. I had my doubts but thought perhaps it could be finely minced garlic. So we started eating. About halfway through we hit a pocket of unmixed cheese and I stopped eating. Asked the server a second time who denied it was cheese. He claims he also asked in the kitchen and they assured him it wasn't cheese. Well, it was- I got sick that night. My vegan dinner was small- no rice or beans. Just two sad little enchiladas with very little filling. There was a pile of iceburg lettuce next to them with a small scoop of pico. But all in all, the meal is NOT worth the price. The vegan options were the same price or more than the meat options, but came out with half the food on the plate. I felt this meal deserved only 1 star, but the fact that there were vegan options on the menu bumped it up to 2 stars. I will not be going back, I would much rather eat elsewhere in a more quiet atmosphere where the servers and kitchen staff KNOW what they put dairy in.

It was a little busy but a lot of people started leaving and getting done eating as we sat down. We got our drinks and ordered. Then we waited, and waited, and our server didn't come back for a while. She refilled the coffees and then we waited again for a little bit more. It was about 45-50 minutes from when we ordered to when we got our food. We got the other servers attention for some more coffee and juice. When she came over, we asked her to check. Our food came out about five minutes after that. The only thing I could think of was that our order never got in or didn't get communicated. The food was good. At the point we got it, we were so hungry and a little tired so it was eaten quickly. I think the other thing was there was no explanation or reason why the food took so long explained to us. We got pancakes, eggs, and home fries with a couple of breakfast tacos. Shouldn't take that long and other people getting their orders and leaving before we ever got food was not great. There was nothing discounted, no explanation, and just not a great experience. I would maybe go back but definitely not at the top of my list based on my first visit.

Today, same thing, the food was really good. My friend ordered the macaroni and cheese with pork belly, I tasted the mac and it was delicious! Instead of sending it back, I just ate half and brought the rest to go so I can cook and eat it later. Our waiter was great, I forget his name though, nice guy. So, when I arrived at 11:15am there was only one other couple seated. I walked in and said hello to the waitress (think her name was Sally), she gave me a very dry hello, I told her I was waiting for someone, she said they weren't there yet, sat me down for two, said something else but it was under her breath, I couldn't hear her, didn't feel very welcomed but it's okay. Our table had crumbs on it, my menu had crumbs on it. I was disappointed but honestly, I just wanted to have a good brunch with my friend so I cleaned it myself. I finally had a moment to take in the decor and it made me feel a little uneasy as I noticed a Hindu Buddha head, some scary dolls, sculptures and some weird decor going on, goats everywhere except one wall that had monkeys on it. The menu is extensive and the wait staff was simply ideal. We enjoyed ourselves having a good meal. Whether I was relaxed, I'm not sure :). The La Bandera was three enchiladas, one cheese, one ground beef and one shredded chicken, topped with three different sauces. It was good. Our waiter got us set up in a reasonable amount of time at a table that was a "little tacky" and by tacky I mean sticky (I did see someone wiping tables post meals). We ordered a couple margaritas because why not enjoy a frosty marg with tacos and the frozen lime one .... Definitely delivered on the booze. The chips and salsa were a big hit with the little yelper, and the salsa was a little runny for my Liking but it was definitely good. We started off with some nachos and this kinda set the tone for the rest of the meal. The queso on this dish was literally like a runny wet texture, most queso tends to be a lot thicker than this and the chicken was a touch bland, those chips had no chance with this queso, they all got a bit soggy in no time. We also had a heavy quantity of tacos ordered. 3 beef and 6 chicken. The beef tacos were pretty bland, as were the chicken tacos (dripping with water). But for $1 tacos I guess it wasn't too bad. I'm just guessing that the chicken is boiled because the amount of moisture was pretty decent. The beans carried the runny theme as well, with the rice being the most non soggy item we came across. Overall though it's $1 tacos, so we can't set the bar too high with them.

When it was time to order the bartender was legit not able to answer any of the questions that we had. Everything came out separately. Let's start with the appetizer. I believe this is cross contamination. I don't plan to return back here because of alarming lack of awareness.
