Andale is a great addition to the Lancaster/Depew area, which really had no sit-down Mexican restaurants of note, until now. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick. Our dinner came out super fast. In fact, we were seated, had our orders taken, and had our drinks and food delivered faster than if we had gone to the drive-thru at Mighty Taco across the street. Wondering what happened here. When they first opened the food was incredible every time we went. The last 2-3 times we have been there the food has been very bland. My wife noticed the salsa had an aftertaste but I know some places add too much cilantro but I could not see any in there. Our last visit was this past Saturday and I had to use a lot of Cholula sauce to give the food some flavor. I had the combination and only ate the ground beef taco and chicken enchilada. Ordered take-out and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Chimichanga and it was one the most tasteless meals I have ever had. No spice and very bland. I ordered the fried chime and there was zero crunch to the tortilla. The refried beans were also very bland. My daughter ordered the enchilladas with red sauce and could not even eat them because they were so drenched in the sauce and she said they still were very tasteless. Food was good. Service was subpar. They got rid of the 5$ margaritas after 8 pm despite 2 weeks ago their bartender told us otherwise. We ordered take out and we were charged "take out fees" of 3.75% by the restaurant. We get home to find out they forgot to give us some items and prepared a meal wrong. Upon going back, the owner stated that it wasn't his fault nor my fault for the mistake but the kitchen staffs fault. He promised my wife a refund over the phone which he didn't offer in person, and stated he's sorry for me having to drive back. Despite the food being good, the service seems to have gone down and for rhe food to already be pricey to be taxed another 3.75% for take out is unheard of. I doubt we will come back here again as there's another Mexican restaurant, Taqueria Los mayas which is a bit better quality and we have had some better service experiences. read more

The best Mexican restaurant in Western New York. My husband and I have been to Andale numerous times since opening. The staff, service, environment, and food are consistently wonderful. What truly made me write this review is that at the end of our meal, the staff unexpectedly celebrated my mother's birthday with song and dessert. They even placed a sombrero on top of her head. The service was very friendly. The staff did their absolute best. The food was...unseasoned. The sauce on the enchiladas was like canned tomatoes. I got salmon with vegetables, and it was all nicely grilled, but I'm not sure that it was even salted. The skinny margarita was good. It's possible we came on a busy night and caught the kitchen unprepared for a big party. Some of our party comes here frequently and really likes it. It's probably worth a shot. I have been to their location in East Amherst before for lunch and was excited to try this location since it was closer. We went on a Sunday around 6:00. Its located in a old Pizza Hut and just doesn't have the same look or feel as their other location. It was loud and our server was just so so. The food seemed like it had been sitting around for a while and reheated as it was ordered We had a nice sampling of menu items. Burritos, enchiladas, tostadas, and tacos. The refried beans were pretty much tasteless and the rice was mushy. The reason for the 2 stars is because the salsa and chips were pretty good. I won't be going back to this location again. Should I be near their other location I may try it again. * If you want a margherita make sure you check the drink menu. They have 3 different sizes and the medium one we ordered was $16!! Stop in this location to try it out. Went in a Saturday night and the wait was only 5 minutes. Service was very slow but understood due to the pandemic. The atmosphere is so very friendly and inviting and the food representation is as gorgeous as it is delicious. We ordered a Merlo and a frozen (out of this world ) strawberry margarita to start which went well with our house tortillas and salsa (yummy). Changed around what we ordered without our knowledge of the extra charge and even "re-directed" my girlfriend to another part of the menu that was a more expensive order than what she was asking for. I ordered a $14 margarita, which our server asked if wanted flavor in. I said "yes" not knowing that I was ordering a completely different margarita that was an extra $5. Live around the block and have seen them getting it ready for a couple months now. Super excited to try it and wasn't disappointed. Waitress was extremely nice and friendly. The menu was huge and had so many things to pick from. Food was hot, came out quick, and delicious. This was for a bit our favorite Mexican spot for dinners and business lunches however we won't be coming back. Last time my wife and mother went they ordered classic margaritas but when they got the bills they were confused as to why all of a sudden they were charged for the most expensive margarita offered. Nonetheless they paid and moved on. Tonight we came for dinner but this time my wife's dinner actually had quarter of a bouillon package baked into it. We waited for a waiter to come by and what appeared to be the manager came and asked what was wrong. He then followed up with a "would you like something different?" I felt like the answer to this was common sense. Much to my surprise my wife decided to just have them remake it, even after biting into garbage. Anyways we ate and got the bill. No apologies were offered and no discount was given. $100 meal that included trash in our food pretty much solidifies that we nor our referrals will be back. Talk about authenticity-The chorizo is homemade from a very talented lady right from her homeland of mexico and it is the very best I've ever had, and I've tasted many. Everything is honestly " Made with Love". Also, the guacamole is the freshest, and best we've ever had, along with the fajitas, tacos, and sides ( rice and beans). We've sampled many mexican style rice and bean locally over the last few years and honestly, most are bland and under seasoned. But...let me tell you my husband is so ridiculously picky with flavors and seasonings, even he says it's prepared perfectly! Also, the place is kept immaculately, and you can tell the owner holds his staff to a very high standard. But, the component that really keeps us coming back is the consistency-it is so very rare to find such wonderful consistency in quality! This place was so good! Seated very quickly and all staff was very smiley and seemed happy to be there! The salsa is the best I've ever had (I've had many) the cilantro in the salsa tastes so fresh but isn't too overwhelming it makes you want more! The chips are a little thicker and both baskets we got were fresh and warm!! We were served two salsas with chips was very nice! Their queso is served in nice sized dish , not too small but could always be more lol. I ordered the chicken flautas and my bf had the steak tacos! Meat was very tender.
