Their portion sizes are nice and they're relatively affordable when compared to other places. The only potential drawback about this space is that depending on the day and time it can take a while to get your food back. We both got the same thing the Solo's Famous Fish Dinner, which according to Door Dash comes with fries, hush puppies and choice of two sides. I got mac & cheese and green beans and I did get the hush puppies, but no french fries. This all came with a good size piece of fish and overall the meal was good. The fish was perfectly cooked and well l-seasoned batter was clearly used, but the sides left something to be desired in the seasoning department. This is the second time we've ordered from Solo Eats. It was kind of late on a Saturday night and we were interested in eating some good junk food. Our April 2021 order was very satisfying, so we turned to them again (on UberEats) to order corner store deli kind of food. I got the Solo Fish Whopper sandwich...again. I always find myself wishing there were more fish sandwiches on menus. Theirs is a delicious and simple sandwich with a hunk of fried haddock, lettuce, tomato, red onion and American cheese on a fresh Costanzo's roll. It generally includes Solo sauce and mayo, and I asked for tartar sauce on the side. It really hit the spot! My husband ordered their specialty, the deep fried taco with ground beef. It's basically a chimichanga; a deep fried burrito. He loved it! It included a side of their Solo sauce. From what I can tell it's a creamy mayo based sauce with chili sauce on top. Whatever the ingredients, it's a delicious all purpose sauce. Neither of our choices came with fries so we happily ordered the cheesy jalapeno fries to share. They were exactly as I'd hoped; regular fries topped with nacho cheese sauce and pickled jalapenos. And they were delicious, but overpriced at $9.99. I'd be happy to pay $7 for the amount we got...but if they want to charge $9.99 then they need to give a bigger portion. That's my only gripe! The patties weren't anything special, but not bad for $10. It was clean inside and the staff was friendly. My friend had got a taco from here a week prior, and wasn't satisfied. My eyes were definitely bigger than my appetite but I also wanted to try some of their different items so I ordered the Solo Burger, beef taco, & a single of their country fried wings in the honey Cajun sauce. I only had one bite of the taco so maybe I was too quick to judge but I wouldn't get it again, wasn't a ton of flavor. The Solo Burger was definitely a big, juicy burger although I would have liked a touch more of their sauce and less Mayo. The real star of the show was the wings though-glad I went with the country style because they were the perfect amount of extra crispy, lightly breaded but still had that yummy skin. The outside breading had the slightest crunch and the meat was as tender as it could be. The French fries that were on the side were tasty as well, not to crunchy and not too soft just right! Very, very upset about my order. Time wise, they were here in a little over an hour after I had placed my order (standard). However, that's the only reason I would give even one star. I order a turkey sub, a sandwich, and French fries. What I received were two beef, cheese, banana pepper, onion, mushroom, etc. subs and very soggy French fries. When I called to try to get my original order, they told me that I had to come pick it up (I don't have the car tonight), and when I said I couldn't, they said I'd have to go through Grubhub and that no manager was working to help me.
