My friends and I were craving a sweet treat after dinner and decided to come here as they seemed to have a lot of options! I opted for the Nutella crepe which came with strawberry and banana slices as well as white chocolate sauce and Nutella. It was delish and definitely hit the spot! It was $13 so the price was pretty fair. It was also large enough to split between 2 people. There is plenty of seating but the place filled up pretty quick while I was there. Freaking fantastic. The desserts here are no joke. Stopped here for dessert on our way home from dinner and wow. The portions were so big this could have been dinner itself! I ordered the Halleez special bubble waffle and added a scoop of chocolate on top. Like over the top delicious! And my sister in law got the strawberry cheesecake bubble waffle which was also fantastic. Great service, plenty of seating in this cute spot! Highly recommend! read more

Was looking for a place that had cookie butter/Biscoff desserts, and I am so happy I discovered this place! We got the Biscoff bubble waffle with vanilla ice cream and it was probably one of the best desserts I've ever had! The waffle was made fresh and they definitely didn't skimp on the ingredients. Halleez in Lackawanna, NY is my go-to whenever I'm in town. The Nutella waffle with strawberries and bananas is a must -- warm, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, and loaded with fresh fruit and rich Nutella. So good every time! Can't speak to the food, I haven't tried any yet but the redbull/ 7up bubblegum shake with peach boba is delicious and definitely gonna be my go to and the Nutella shake is to die for, and perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth! I can't wait to come back around December 1 and try out the new menu they are releasing! The service was great, they are nice and super helpful and friendly and the ambiance is great as well! Have been eating here for a long time and it's always amazing and tonight we ordered the same thing as we always do and it horrible we got bubble waffles and you can't even get through it with fork taste over cooked or like it's been sitting around one or the other. really sad spend $40 and all I could eat was the ice cream and toppings. I won't be going back anytime soon read more

Welp. This place is my new addiction. I fully intend to try everything on the menu and will find an excuse to end every (rare) night out with hubby or friends at Halleez. So far I have had the Nutella bubble waffle with a big old scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and most recently, Nutella sushi crepe. I was super curious to know what a sushi crepe was and what a cute, tasty treat (photos below)! I am clearly a sucker for anything Nutella, so next I'll be trying the rolled Nutella crepe, and can't wait to report back. Bottom line: this place is next level. You can't find inventive treats like this anywhere else in Buffalo. The waffles and crepes are freshly made and served to you warm, with your gooey toppings. We were really excited to try this place out during our trip to Buffalo. When we entered, we went straight to the register and the guy up front immediately went to the back room for several minutes before helping up. He was very disheveled and inefficient with everyone's order but it took nearly 25 mins to get our food with only 2 orders infront of us. The space is really cool modern looking room and quite cozy, but really wasn't pleasant as a group of teenage boys (who the one working seemed to know) couldn't go 2 words without swearing. It's a letdown because the food itself was really good but there were service issues and smaller issues (like no napkins at all) that would have us not come back. read more

It took me a little longer than expected, but I finally came back after having truly enjoyed the Yelp Elite experience here a little while ago. This visit I wound up going with the Purple Rain Bubble Waffle, which if my memory serves me correctly, was what I had mentioned in the Elite experience review would be what I'd try next, and again was super impressed with what I had. The bubble waffle is definitely a less dense and airy waffle, but was perfectly made and the black raspberry ice cream and blueberries were super fresh. The white chocolate chips and sauce plus regular chocolate sauce were very good. The tartness of the blueberry and raspberry in the ice cream helped to balance out the sweetness. Really enjoyed this visit, and there are still a few other waffle recipes and other treats I want to try here, and I'm sure it'll continue to impress. read more

New dessert option in Lackawanna that just opened up in November of 2021. Nice and clean, homemade ice cream . Huge, indulgent portions (I recommend sharing) . My father and I shared the Purple Rain Bubble waffle. I really enjoyed the fresh tasting black raspberry ice cream and the bubbles in the waffles broke off easily to make for a nice sized bite and easy eating . The loads of white chocolate made it a bit too sweet for me , I would go lighter on the sauce next time . Menu is limited but I found there are lots of different of combinations of waffles/ crepes with ice cream/toppings to choose from. I'd go back again with friends when I have a sweet tooth hankering! Went to try the desserts and I was not disappointed! The options especially, the ice cream flavor choices and toppings were fantastic and the service was really, really great. I got the rolled crêpe with three ice cream scoops and topped it with Biscoff cookies and Twix. Walking in, you're greeted with the sweet smell of waffles cooking and chocolate. The inside is very lovely, decor is modern yet subtle. A little too quiet on the music though, myself and my friend who decided to stop on felt like we were whispering the entire time. Decided to indulge in a purple rain and lotus dessert on a bubble waffle and Leigh waffle respectively. Although good, the desserts came smothered in syrups and very sweet to the point if hurting my teeth. The ice cream was smooth and creamy which almost helped even that out. We did try a raspberry Redbull drink which was good but nothing to write home about. Was really expecting more of a raspberry flavor. Took home some cheesecake and it was delicious! I continue to frequent Halleez as I am addicted to the bubble waffles. However, this past visit I was able to try the roller crepe which was equally delicious. It was huge and made with the same fresh ingredients. We also tried the pistachio shake which was light, creamy, and had chopped pistachios in it. Shocked by all the amazing reviews. Came in to grab one waffle and there was no one in line in front of me. I thought the guy was making my waffle because it was the same one I ordered and it looked like he was handing it to me so I tried to take it and he was super rude to me. It was for some other person who had been waiting since way before I got there. Ended up taking over 20 minutes to get it, which is insane because there wasn't anyone in line ahead of me. Overall the guy working here seemed a lot more interested in talking to his friends that were hanging out than doing his job in a timely fashion. Would not recommend. read more

I stopped by here recently and was quite impressed and intend to return. I didn't have the time for something like their bubble or liege waffles so I went with the Qashta shake and it didn't disappoint either. There's pistachios both in and on top of the shake that went very well with the Qashta. They also have sundaes, smoothies, and redbull. Everything is reasonably priced between $6-$13 plus extras. It wasn't very busy when I was there so everything was made pretty fast but they seemed set up to handle it being very busy. Their dining room was nice and open and could accommodate a good number of people. This is definitely a spot worth checking out after a nice dinner in the area. read more

The name Halleez instantly reminds me of some of my favorite sweets and desserts! With the new ownership in place I must say the service is great, friendly, and done in a timely manner, even on some heavy traffic I have encountered in Halleez. We absolutely love coming here. We live way up in the North Towns but this is completely worth the drive and we've been known to make a late night run down to Halleez when we need a special treat. Most times, we've gone at off peak hours, so there has been plenty of seating and we've gotten our food pretty quickly. During peak hours, it's definitely a little slower, but also totally worth the wait. The waffles are one of our favorites, as are the crepes. I really enjoy the Biscoff flavor. We've also enjoyed the baklava. My personal favorite is the chai tea - it is the perfect balance of spices, sweetness, and actual tea. A lot of chai teas don't actually feature the flavor of the chai. But this one does it perfectly. The staff is friendly and there's plenty of parking, plus clean bathrooms. We haven't had a single thing we haven't enjoyed and we've tried a good chunk of what's on the menu. Overall, this is a hidden gem and you should go check it out as soon as possible. read more

Stop in for creative ice cream desserts. I love the lotus sundae on the bubble waffle. Crepes and liege waffle also available. Biscoff ice cream is delicious. Staff is courteous. Locally owned and operated. It's definitely worth a visit. They have a handful of pre designed sundaes or you can create your own. Step aside and look at the menu. Soak it in. I ordered 2 waffles and the guy told me 35 minutes I waited about a hour just for him to call me back and say " we only had batter for one waffle not 2" With attitude and when I asked can I got the one free he told me "HELL NAHH" worst customer services ever won't be back. read more

The reason why I have to deduct it from the four-star smoothie level and give them the 3 stars as for the same reason as one of the other reviewers. I had just been served with my drink on my second visit here and was in the process of sharing it with someone - standing pretty much right next to the kiosk - and they were about 5 minutes from closing and somebody showed up and asked for a smoothie literally just after she had finished making mine (she walked up as the girl handed me my smoothie), but the girl said they were closed. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal to make one extra smoothie and it was still five minutes before the posted closing time, and I do mean 5 mins (it hadn't turned to 55 past the hour yet on my phone). Since others on here have the same experience I can only imagine that this is a very regular occurrence so make sure you get here at least 15 minutes before closing time. If not for this I'd give 5.

I was working remotely so I was able to do work on my laptop and enjoy a wonderful breakfast. While dining, I saw many people stopping in for to-go orders and others sitting and eating with their partners or children. They have a menu posted on the wall as soon as you enter as well as menus by the cashier. They offer breakfast, lunch, a variety of beverages, lots of beautiful pastries and desserts and also offer party trays. That said, it was still a very enjoyable sandwich. The chicken was juicy, full of flavour, and not dry at all, and the bacon was cooked exactly the way I like it. The fries were nicely seasoned and paired perfectly with the meal. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere with plenty of seating and lots of TVs, including some absolutely massive screens, making it a great place to catch other games while enjoying a beer. They have completely non-plastic to go cups which are unique looking and we loved the extra effort they put into sustainability.
