My friend worked there for not even a week. A family event came up and she was not able to make it to work the next day so she texted the owner the day before explaining that she would not be able to make it and she was sorry. The owner then said that she needed dependent workers that can do what is on the schedule and her employment there would not continue. Came here after running errands yesterday to grab a small bowl of ice cream. Usually I like to order their pistachio custard, but this time I had their peach instead which was very pleasant and light. The amount you get is fair for what you pay and it tastes really good. There's plenty of open seating outside with a convenient location for parking both in-lot and streetside. The service was really quick and polite, I think I only waited about a minute before getting a generous portion of soft serve. My partner and I try to walk down at least once a season because there's so many options and it's nice supporting a local business. read more

Pam's is still great and we still frequent it almost weekly (although we have started to cut down on our ice cream!). The menu just keeps expanding with new things. Not to be confused with Fox's Custard Come, which is generally thought to be produced after I have not consumed water for a very, very, very, very, very long time, and is kinda gross. Pam's on the other hand is not gross at all. In fact, it's delicious. It seems like Custard's Last Stand, with all the crap like Cold Stone taking over, and don't get me started on "Churn" on Hertel (dies a painful death just thinking about those products and prices). Let's cleanse our minds by thinking of Pam's. Pam's custard corner is a lovely little custard spot in South Buffalo right in the heart of all the amazing pizza - Imperial, Bella, Lombardough's are all close by, and Mineo's South is a 2 minute walk - so if you want to wash some of that unhealthy Pizza down with some thick creamy custard, you can come here. You also have about seven other great custard options within a couple of miles. This one is tasty and cheap and while it's not the best in town it's also a lot better than some of the others. So I'm a fan and I'm sure I'll be back here again. Service was not too bad and it's just your lovely typical little neighbourhood custard shop. It's seasonal, but then so is my manic hypersexual disorder. Now I need to end this review and leave the house before the cops show up to try and take me into custardy. read more

This place is fantastic! How I missed it for so many years baffles me. The selection for custard is VAST and the flavors are spot on. Portions are decent, prices are a bit higher then other places, but the atmosphere, cleanliness, customer service and seating area is excellent. I will have to try more items, because every time I visit I end up trying a different flavor of custard. They have all been great so far. My only gripe is the higher price and sometimes the length of the line, but I still keep returning. Parking available on the side or off street. Flavors easily visible on the giant billboard from a distance and the customer service has been very friendly. They are always so cheerful and polite. Great little gem! Check it out guys. read more

Dream Cone... vanilla custard inside a angle cone that has fudge & nuts on it- amazing! There are plenty of other options, including 15+ Perry's Ice cream flavors. If you're getting g ice cream in South Buffalo, this is Way better than Dairy Queen. read more

In an effort to beat the heat my boyfriend and I walked over to Pam's Custard Corner for a sweet treat. There was no line so we took our time figuring out exactly what we wanted. He got a Butterfinger Arctic Swirl and I went for a Peanut Butter Oreo Arctic Swirl, with chocolate ice cream instead of the standard vanilla. After a few minute wait we were enjoying our ice cream and headed back home. I could tell from the powerful peanut butter flavor that mine had real peanut butter melted into it! I used to come here often years ago and wanted to check this place out. I used to always get the Funfetti Cake Arctic Swirl. So that's what I ordered today. It was good. I got nachos and cheese too. The large arctic swirl was $6.35. I paid just over $10 for both items. A few of their items weren't available because they're closing on Friday for the season. If I could leave 0 stars I would. was super excited to see the large menu and custard options. The worker explained that the put the flavor into the vanilla... okay sounds good. My friend ordered apple pie flavored... and I got raspberry. Hers upon first bite was all mint, like the dentist office toothpaste? I thought, oh maybe there was mint in the machine from someone else's.... try my RASPBERRY /'s instant cool mint followed by cinnamon. I've never thrown an ice cream out, but I sure did throw these straight in the trash. Next time save yourself the trouble and just throw $5 (cost per cone) out the window. today was the first day of summer and to celebrate I wanted to take my kids for ice cream. normally I do not go to custard corner, but my cars getting fixed and it's within walking distance from my house. after today, I WILL be back! the custard was absolutely amazing, and the young man who took my order was so kind and helpful. my children are ridiculously picky and he was able to understand my very complicated order. my past experiences coming here weren't the best, but today the young man working was so helpful. the custard was a perfect start to summer 2018! read more

Tip jars are pretty tacky when they don't make less than minimum wage. Good food but that looks bad. And it also looks bad to have one of the workers swirling around in the chair while the other 2 are actually working when there's a line of 5 customers. read more

Use to ride my bike here with my friend when we were younger. Always use to get the same thing chocolate ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. I love stopping by for ice cream whenever I go back to visit Buffalo. read more
