I brought my kids to Rosie's on the west side on a random Tuesday night; figuring, how busy could it possibly be on a Tuesday?! Well, the line was literally out the door at 7 PM! But honestly? The moment you walk in, none of that matters. The smell is pure bliss! You're immediately hit with the aroma of fresh cones baking, and you're surrounded by ice cream made right there. It's a small space, packed with a lot of people, but the line moved surprisingly well. The servers are extraordinarily patient and kind, which is even more impressive considering it was a hot July Tuesday. They do have a limit on samples, and I actually think that's a great thing... it keeps the line moving and makes people more deliberate about what they want to try. Once we sat down, we had some of the most delicious ice cream I've ever tasted in my life. We even took some pints home, and it was just as delicious there as it was in the shop. Completely recommend! We'll be back.
Really great ice cream. I love when homemade ice cream is soft and creamy instead of really stiff and hard. The flavors were very delicious. If I had to critique one thing it would be that it's difficult to read the menu without getting in anyone's way. I wish the spacing was a bit larger for the line to menu
I have been to Rosie's many times after a good recommendation. Every single visit has been great, the ice cream is creamy and VERY high quality. My latest stop here was just yesterday as of writing, I got the blueberry pie ice cream and it is amazing, along with a scoop on the cold brew flavor in their homemade waffle cone. The "scoopers" as they are called on signs in the shop have always been outstanding and very nice. The vibes from Rosie's are always great, super chill even when there is a long line. I even stop and get pints to go when I happen to be remotely close to here. Don't sleep on this high quality and nice ice cream place!
Outdoor or indoor dining depending on the weather was great. It was quick to get your ice cream and so many unique flavors! I love that they had a kids size. Friendly staff.
This is my most favorite ice cream place in Buffalo. The flavors always change, every flavor is delicious, the place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. It always makes sense to get more than one scoop, so I always get two.

New location alert! I'm so happy they opened a new spot closer to me. If you're an ice cream lover, you've gotta try Rosie's. I recently ordered one of their seasonal flavors. I don't remember the name but it kinda tasted like a Heath bar? Absolutely delish. My pup also enjoyed his pup cup! Plenty of seating outside. Staff is pleasant and they allow samples!
I went here 2.5 weeks ago with my niece. The service was great! There was a cool bison in a sign/mural that said Have a Rosie Day within it. The tables weren't uncomfortable, which is important to me. The service was good. I had one scoop of 42 Drunk Raisins and one of their other flavors. I wasn't a big fan of those flavors but I do like many of their other ones and can't wait to go back!
Previously, I had only been to their EA location. I was surprised to walk in and see a bar to the left & the ice cream selection on the right. There were no patrons at the bar when I visited, but it was around 1ish in the middle of the week, so not too surprising. There is both indoor and outdoor seating for enjoying your ice cream or beverage. There is also a big glass window where you can see the ice cream makers in action... How neat is that?! I had to get a cinnamon waffle cone because they are made in house and absolutely delicious! Not to mention, I've never seen a cinnamon waffle cone elsewhere and I love cinnamon! That was the easy decision... Then I had to narrow it down to just 3 different flavors to get in my cone. I ended up choosing off the seasonal menu because I don't get out Rosie's way often; I got the Spiced Mocha, Joshalicious and 42 Drunken Raisins (see descriptions in pics). I enjoyed them all as I usually do when I have ice cream. It's tough for me to meet an ice cream that I don't enjoy. I love that Rosie's has such creative flavors too. They even have one with crickets in it that I want to try called Cherry Chirp. Unfortunately it was not on the menu this time. The service was fast & friendly. I would definitely visit again and wish there was a location closer to Lockport!
Delicious!! Thought we try a new place for ice cream , they make their own , so the flavors are unique. Lots of gluten and Vegan options they also have dairy free options ! Cute place inside , and everyone was friendly

Went in before they were closing for the last evening and tried two flavors, which were both good in their own right. One of them was an oat milk based ice cream, which was delicious and I have never tried before, but I will definitely be on the lookout for ice cream made with oat milk in the future. The other was called Santa's cookies, which was definitely a bit indulgent and had huge chunks of sugar cookie dough in it! Ice cream scoops werea bit on the high side, price wise, but definitely a nice treat from time to time. The staff are very friendly and let me try a few different samples and definitely look forward to checking out Rosie's in the future for more flavors and to hang out at the bar area. This was a very cool looking space right over on the west side.
Rosie's Handcrafted Ice Cream was such a great find! I had the Bada Bing Bada Bourbon on a cinnamon waffle cone, and it was absolutely delicious. The ice cream was rich, flavorful, and the cinnamon waffle cone was the perfect pairing! I also really appreciate that Rosie's offers so many vegan and gluten-free options. It's nice to have plenty of choices instead of feeling limited, and everything looks so thoughtfully made. Definitely a spot I'd happily come back to! read more
Stopped in with some friends after hearing this is the go-to spot for ice cream in Buffalo. It was packed when we got in, which was definitely a good sign! I got the cold brew ice cream and definitely would've tried a few more flavors, but wanted to be mindful of everyone waiting in line. I got one scoop and the portion size was very generous. The cold brew ice cream was good! It does have actual coffee grounds mixed in, which is a cool idea in theory, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the texture. The grounds also tend to get stuck in your teeth. Glad I was able to try it out! read more

5/5 - I waited like 20 minutes in the longest line I've ever waited for, for ice cream but well worth it! I can see why there was a line. The flavors were so unique and so good from what I got to sample! I will definitely be back again next time I'm in Buffalo area! read more
The ice cream was great!! I had a dairy-free peanut butter cookie on a cinnamon waffle cone, and then came back and had the lemon bar with a waffle cone and sprinkles. The service is definitely not fast you come here and there's always a line to wait! It's totally worth it! There's also a bar area too if you want to grab a beer. Definitely come check out Rosie's if you're in the area or not!... you won't be disappointed. read more

If you are an ice cream lover than you have to try Rosie's. All their ice cream is made in house, and the different flavor combinations will have you wanting everything on the menu. This location has a bar and also offers some food. Rosie's is definitely a place worth coming to read more

We didn't know about this Rosie's location in buffalo until now, and we'll definitely come back! I got the dairy free peanut butter cookie, which is great for those who love peanut butter (as I do). My fiancé didn't love the amount of peanut butter so something to be aware of. He got two scoops- one of the chocolate and one of the Oreo milk. Both of these were delicious, and great as a combo. The chocolate taste is much better than an average Perry's ice cream chocolate. You can taste how freshly made these are. Open late until 10pm which is a huge perk! read more
I'm so glad Rosie's opened up a second delicious spot! Their homemade ice cream is delicious as always. We came just as they released some new seasonal flavors - a lavender honey and a Cracker Jack. They have so many allergy friendly options! read more
