After waiting for a customer to finish up, I decided to get a small cup of their Pistacchio gelato. (Their spelling, not mine.) It's very good. Although it was maybe a little icier than I might've preferred, the flavor was right on point. The gelato had a rich pistachio flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. I also tried a bit of my dining companion's Gianduia and that was much tastier. It wasn't icy at all and it had this rich chocolate flavor that I found irresistible. Service was terrific, and the atmosphere was small but cute. This is a great place for locals, I'd bet.

Finally, after receiving our ice cream, we attempted to pay by credit card. While nowhere was it posted for the public to be aware, we were told that they did not accept credit cards. While somewhat annoying, that policy became absolutely absurd when the server was willing to accept United States Dollars, with absolutely no exchange rate! She required payment for the full Canadian amount, in US Dollars - an effective markup of nearly 30% at the current exchange rate! All in all, an awful experience and a total rip off for mediocre ice cream that you can get anywhere.
