We often stay in Glendale for little getaways and I can't believe we haven't been coming to…read moreGeorge's from before lol. It's only 4 mins away from where we usually stay! Anyways, we came on a Thursday night in December and they were pretty busy. Love that for them. The one thing I love is that the servers and most people working there were Greek. My bf (who is Greek) and I judge the authenticity of Greek restos based on if they have Greek workers or owners. Luckily, this place has both. I was even able to practice my Greek with our server who was so sweet. We learned a little about her life here and in Greece. My bf ordered the chicken gyro dinner and I knew I wouldn't be able to eat a dinner on my own, so I figured I would just eat some of his lol. I did also order a pork skewer for myself, as it's my preferred meat at Greek restos. Sadly, they don't have a pork skewer dinner. Our server brought out the salad that comes with the dinner first. As you can see, it's a very generous portion and my bf and I easily shared it. It was dressed just right. The chicken gyro meat kinda fell short. We didn't really enjoy it. We didn't love the flavours. The pork skewer, however, was just right. It was seasoned perfectly and juicy. Paired with the tzatziki was Greek perfection. We also really enjoyed the rice. My bf said, just by looking at it, you could tell it was good. The potato's were good too. Overall, it was a good meal and we will be returning. My bf said he wouldn't order the chicken gyro dinner again but there are many more items on the menu that he would try. The only thing they're missing on the menu is my fave, fasolakia! We also ended up getting a piece of galektoboureko to go and this was excellent. The thickness of the custard was exactly how I like it and the phyllo was perfect. It was easy to cut and stayed in tact. Sometimes the phyllo gets so soaked in honey that the whole piece comes off then you cut it. It had hints of orange zest in the custard. The only downside was it was mad expensive for the slice. It was $10. Overall, a great experience and we are looking forward to coming back!

The menu offers great variety of Greek cuisine and is split into lunch and dinner menu. We ordered "Saganaki" for appetizer and "Kebob Combo" and "Octopus Dinner" for main. We also enough the complimentary Greek Salad served with Garlic Bread. Dinner menu is served with the sides of potatoes, salad and rice and the portions are generous. We replaced potatoes and rice with cooked vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. For dessert, we ordered the delicious "Baklava Sundae" and enjoyed Greek Baklava with vanilla ice cream. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff are friendly, especially George made our lunch memorable.

In the craziness of getting a replacement cone, I lost my keys. The guys in the DQ looked everywhere inside for my keys, moved the garbage can. No luck. These are top notch people who went out of their way to help a women in distress. They get 5 stars as far as I am concerned.

I ordered a Girl Guides Chocolatey Mint Cookie Blizzard (small $5.99) and a Crispy Chicken Salad Bowl ($6.49) with ranch dressing. The Blizzard was as expected. The Salad Bowl was surprisingly delicious and the chicken was tender with a crispy breading. There were two staff members, a female handling the order-taking and the ice cream desserts, and a male handling the savoury foods. There were 2 customers ahead of me. The female gave me my Blizzard when she could (in a reasonable time) but the Salad Bowl took an extremely long time (15 mins?). When I entered there were no other customers behind me. By the time I received my Salad Bowl, there were 2 other customers inside who have ordered and 3 others waiting outside in the heat. Luckily there was good air conditioning inside keeping my Blizzard from melting. I wanted to take photos of both items at the same time. During pandemic times, the staff are wearing face masks and there are plexiglas at the staff area. Customers enter using the main door and exit to the outdoor seating area. Even though Ontario allowed indoor seating, they blocked of the indoor seating area. The outdoor seating area was large with 5-6 tables spaced at least 2 meters apart. Some  of the seating has tree shade for those hot sunny days. Not sure if there is free WiFi. It is wheelchair accessible. There are customer washrooms. There are a few parking spots since it is in a strip mall. Review 2021-077 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

The place when you step into it is really a well Themed restaurant, very clean, decorated with think you would find in Mexico, like the large hats. The room reminds me of dining in Mexico off the resorts. The place is very busy! The derive was nice, but please be patient with your wait staff they have been busy probably for hours before you got there, and we're still quite pleasant. We ordered some beer and a jalapeño drink, and it was off the charts! The food, we had the sample platter, which I'm not in any rush to get back to. The taquitos were quite bland as were the cheese quesadillas. The nachos also were just meh. The salsa was just really a cup of tomato juice, with some small floating bits of cilantro and onions, I wish this was a real pico, but I think they may have run out... guac also a little disappointing in this dish. It was quite low on the flavour profile over all. It's a great idea, but the food was quite bad. The pulled beef tacos, this dish comes with three tacos, and let me tell you, this really hit it out of the park!! Omg every bite was WOW! The meat was so tender and well seasoned, I could have eaten all 5 tacos (we added an extra two for $10), and the jus that comes with this, omg omg omg!!! So so so good! I would love to eat this every single day! Our last dish was the quesadilla, I chose chicken as my protein, but this was a little flat as I like my quesadilla really crunchy fro the tortilla, and the filling had some really good chewy, stringy cheese that I really enjoyed, however that chicken filling could really use some more spices or more tang. It was quite under flavoured. We really enjoyed the experience of this Mexican restaurant, and I know many of us are dying to fly out, but if you want authentic Mexican foods, this is certainly on top my go to list. They also had some of the best Mexican rice here, flavoured to perfection!!!

They have a hot pot side and a barbecue side and we chose all you can eat hot pot. They have lots of cuts of meat to choose from, plus fresh vegetable and noodle stations that are self-serve. We went with a dual pot of beef broth with spicy Mongolian seasoning and veg broth with Spicy Tom Yum. Both were great, but I especially liked the spicy Mongolian. We ordered quite a bit of meat (some beef tendon, sliced beef, sliced pork, salmon, and pork and shrimp dumplings) and it was all fresh and delicious. Veg included bok choy, cabbage, enoki mushrooms, and lots more, plus plenty of noodle varieties. They have a great selection here and there's surely something for everyone. We had a great dinner here. Everything was tasty and the service was friendly. We'd definitely visit again the next time we are in the area!
