Spicy, level 1 was inedible hot. My gums are still burning.

$38 per person is outrageous for what you get. We received virtually no instructions. The quality of the vegetables and prepared food were not great. I have been to fast food places that are better. I ordered a spicy broth at a spiciness of 1 and couldn't eat any of the food that was cooked in it. It was insanely hot. And I eat hot wings, Mexican food, Thai food, and Indian food without issue. When I brought it to the sever's attention, she just shrugged. They don't accept Amex. I'm sure I know why. Our bill was $150 for 2 adults and 2 kids plus tip. I feel duped by the other reviews and am sorry I ever even used Yelp to find dinner tonight.

Stopped here because it was close to the Tesla Supercharger, but I loved it-- great food, friendly service, and I really liked sitting out on the large patio.

We were recommended to come here by one of my closest friends. And WOW! At first glance from the outside... you really don't expect much. A place that does both Hotpot and BBQ? I was a little confused if they didn't have a specialty in which they cater more towards. We decided to go try the Hotpot option. Food - 5/5: This restaurant is so unique because you get to walk up and grab the ingredients yourself (if it is for Hotpot), except for the meat... they get delivered to you. The vegetables are fresh, clean, and perfect in every way. The choices of noodles are extremely wide. They range from ramen, udon, flat rice noodles, and so much more. The broth was extremely tasty too. Their dipping sauce section had a huge variety of sauces. I put together Peanut Sauce + Sesame Oil + Sesame Paste + Fresh Cilantro + Hoisin Sauce = PERFECTION! Service - 5/5: Amazing. Quick. Attentive. Polite. Everything you would want in a service. 10/10 would come here again, even if I do live an hour away. I've been to a fair share of hotpot restaurants in Mississauga and Markham, but Lang is the best of them all. Already craving it again.

    Hot pot!

Great place! Everything is sooo fresh! You ha e 2 fridges full of vegetables and noodles. Lots of selection. Even if your a vegetarian you will love it. Especially the Hot Pot, they have veggie soup base. So the are 2 sides, 1 is the Korean BBQ and the other is the Hot Pot! This would be a great experience for anyone or if you have a group of people! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating because service was a little slow but not that bad. Must Try!

First time trying Hot Pot and it was excellent. They let you pick your broth base flavor and then meats and veggies. All you can eat. We chose the Mongolian and Lang (Vietnamese) flavors in a duo hot pot for better variety. Good selection of meats and more expensive veggies everything looked very fresh. Ended up cooking a lot more than we could eat getting the right amount of noodles was hard. They had a hot bar of sides that you can choose from too all were tasted though didn't have much with how much food we had in the hot pots. Being our first time they told us how to cook everything. The deserts they had a few with a lot of fresh fruit. Overall great experience highly recommend.

We were at the Niagara falls and was looking for something good to eat, but Nada. Then went to help and found this hot pot place( they have BBQ too, but I didn't try). Services are excellent, every staff attended our table. Food was so fresh and tasty. The place is beautiful as well.

Love this place! Great service and great food! Meat and vegetables are fresh! My friend doesn't want hot pot so we only tried BBQ. It turns out very satisfied dinner experience. By the way, the environment is nice decorated and the price for the food is very reasonable! If I have the chance to come back to Niagara Fall, definitely will come back!

We also shared an order of garlic cheese bread. Overall very satisfying meal at a reasonable price point. The cheese bread was cooked well, crispy and had a fair amount of cheese. The steak in my wife's salad was cooked to her liking, and the portion and freshness of the ingredients was good. The Reuben was good overall and the side salad was made with a spring mix, tomatoes and cucumbers. I would have liked to see a little more smoked meat in the Reuben since I felt it was a little bread heavy, but again overall very tasty. Briar (I think?) made me a fantastic caesar while I waited and was very friendly and helpful. We're staying two nights. I'd try something else here for sure.

My girlfriend and I went here for some bowling and ended up going to the restaurant for something to eat and what I thought was a simple idea turned out to be a massive mistake. We ordered a pitcher of beer and the server went away returned 3 times to tell us the beer we kept ordering was "out" and that "the keg needs to be changed" finally we got a pitcher of FLAT Alexander Keiths beer that cost us $18!!! I would have been better off flying to Halifax, going into the brewery and brewing my own beer. We should have just left after that and cut our losses but we just wanted pizza and thought "you can't screw up pizza, can you?" Turns out, Yes you can screw up making pizza. It took 50 minutes to cook a pepperoni and cheese, it was beyond cold and hard as a rock oh and ya know..BURNED and black on the bottom. So it was hot at some point... It was such a simple order of Pizza.... and Beer..... I'm a working student and I work many hours a week on school and my job, I interact with lots of people on a day to day basis. I will tell everyone I know from this day on to never and I mean NEVER visit the JJ Kapps Backyard BBQ Steak and Gill, the only thing that can save this place is a grease fire. I recommend this place gets shut down and a revamped menu. The chef and company involved should feel embarrassed about the bad product, the quality of the product, the service and the wallet burning prices. You can do so much better then this, work smarter not harder.

Even if Aunt Jemima hadn't been cancelled a few years ago, I'd probably be officially switching to…read morereal maple syrup after this excursion. One of my cousins has a bit of an obsession with natural sweeteners and scheduled a trip to White Meadows for us last weekend. It was a bit of a drive from our Finger Lakes Airbnb that involved a literal border crossing, but honestly was worth the trek. I wasn't sure what to expect beyond a deluge of maple leaf signs/flags, but I definitely left with an appreciation of the insane amount of work required to make this without using mass-produced corn syrup. We'd scheduled a tour, subsequent syrup tasting and charcuterie board for a 1:30pm start time. Not knowing what drama we might encounter at the border (there was absolutely none - deliciously uneventful; this isn't the border anyone gets particularly riled up about), we got here super early and had ample time to look around the gift shop. I barely considered the implications of the tariffs and didn't bother buying any maple syrup - understandably when I went to the farm's website later, it indicated they're not shipping to the US right now. That decision will haunt me for weeks and maybe months to come. Our guide was Nathan, who was an absolute superstar. I can't recommend this guy highly enough. He was engaging and knew how to talk about the science and concepts behind maple syrup and its cultivation on the farm in a way that was easily digestible but also very in-depth and informative. We were in a pretty inquisitive group, and he fielded a myriad of questions ably; I also liked that once or twice, he didn't know the answer and just said that - sadly a rarity in this day and age. But that didn't happen very often; Nathan knows maple syrup. The tour consists of a 10 to 15-minute discussion in one of the prep rooms near the gift shop (where most of the equipment and technical terminology is broken down), followed by a 10-minute tractor ride to the woods on the other side of the property to the tree-tapping area where the majority of the tour takes place, followed by a ride back to the starting point and a five-minute tasting of the four syrups made on the farm. One piece of constructive feedback - there were several young children there who were honestly a bit of a distraction. This is probably school age kid friendly but there were some very antsy toddlers (and even an infant) who just weren't old enough for this. I'd put a disclaimer up on the website that this isn't really appropriate for pups that young so the parents know ahead of time not to bother booking it. It is really wild seeing how much goes into creating maple syrup on a mom-and-pop farm like this. The intricate weaving of the taps/tubes throughout the forest leading to a storage tank out of site, and seeing how aggressive you have to be to take advantage of the very narrow window that sap can be harvested? Had no idea. If nothing else, you'll definitely come away from this being blown away by the syrup trade and the immense work required. You just never think about this stuff when you're at the diner pouring (not real) syrup onto your pancakes. The tasting and charcuterie were really good too - if you're already here, I'd spring for the charcuterie so you can sample the syrups and assorted meats/cheeses on a grander scale than just the tasting. The only annoying part were the yellowjackets constantly trying to get in on the fun (which I found out in Canada are more commonly referred to as wasps). I honestly have no idea how they can fix or alleviate that issue since by definition you're putting sweet/sugary stuff out on picnic tables, but might be worth troubleshooting down the line. Absolutely would recommend if you happen to be in the general Upstate NY area and have your passport handy. But make sure you actually buy the syrup there - I have no idea when I'm going to get a chance to sup on the Golden grade of syrup again.

Had such a great experience here! We got the full charcuterie experience and we it was so good. The…read morestaff was sooooo friendly and such a cute little farm. Would highly suggest
