    Bulgogi jeon

I've been wanting to come to Pharmacii for a long time now, and I can't tell you how thrilled I was with the experience now that I finally got to go. The service from the start was outstanding. The staff know the menu very well and are extremely helpful in navigating the options since there are so many good ones. I have a spice sensitivity, but they were wonderful in explaining the options to me. To start, I got Boy in Pink for my drink. It was delicious! The bread with yuzu honey (I believe) on top was the perfect compliment and the drink was cute and perfectly sweet. They suggest you order 3-5 dishes per couple. We started with their fried chicken and it was delicious. The sauce was great, but it still maintained the crispness. Then came the bulgogi jeon, which was probably my favorite dish. You take the slice and dip it in the egg, and the mouthfeel is just perfect and it was a feel good dish. Afterward, you got the udon. I often have difficulty with the fatty nature of pork belly, but the way it was cooked made it so I could enjoy it easily. The fried tofu was also really well done, with a crispy exterior and soft interior. Our final dishes were the bok choy, which is a yummy green, and finally the tataki. Both were good, but I think I've discovered tataki just isn't my taste, but if you like the style, you will love the dish. I am excited to return. It's a perfect date night spot and I would 10/10 recommend stopping by.

Pharmacii in St. Catharines is a small, charming spot with a cool, laid-back vibe that's perfect for sharing delicious plates. We particularly enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken, which was crispy and flavorful, and the Bulgoghi Jeon, which was a fun and tasty experience. The Shaker Fries added a playful twist, and the Crispy Pork was another standout dish, perfectly cooked with a satisfying crunch. The service is friendly and relaxed, contributing to the cozy atmosphere. Although the location is on the smaller side, it adds to the intimate and welcoming feel of the restaurant. Saluti

What a great surprise. We loved the creativity of the kitchen and the comfy seating. We came on a quiet evening loved the dim lighting and sharing plate concept. This allows us to try different dishes, the Korean fried chicken, steak tataki and rice noodles were our favorites

The food here was superb, as was the one drink we tried. We ate on the back patio, it was nice being able to eat outdoors under an evening sky. Service was a little slow, I think they're understaffed, but not obnoxiously slow. I'm surprised this place has lasted as long as it has though, unless the owners' parents are chaebols, since they don't do takeout. They also seem to have a chip on their shoulder about other things, judging from the (really nicely done) menu/magazine. If it's still around when you're looking for a place to eat I highly recommend it - if we were around a few more days we'd go back for dinner several more times just to try the dishes we didn't get to try the first time.

This place has been on my list for a while now. They seem quite popular from their social media presence. I'm glad to have checked it out as soon as the ban on outdoor dining was lifted. The ambiance was nice and we were seated quickly on a Friday evening. It's a cute restaurant that boasts Asian fusion inspired cuisine and alcoholic beverages. I enjoyed a fruli "polar beer" and fruli sangria. Among two people, we also got two appetizers and an entrée. Trust me, we were stuffed. The shaker fries were super crunchy and yummy!! They also sell store related merchandise. I also found their restrooms to be...eye opening haha. I'd probably come back if I was in the area. Not a bad place :)

Had an amazing visit to this cool little cocktail joint in St.Catharines. The tunes were great (hip hop) the service was on point, the drinks were out of this world, and the food was delicious! All the cocktails were so tasty, we had 9 of the 11 in total. By far the favourite was the Winter Valhalla, it was white rum, pisco, vanilla infused coconut milk, sesame syrup a d cardamom. It was the best drink I've had! You can taste the care that went into making it! The food we tried was also amazing. We had the shaker fries and some special chicken, that was battered and deep fried soft bone....something. It was deep fried goodness. Can't wait to go back and try some more drinks!

All the food is prepared with care and tastes great. Standouts for my group were the beef and mushroom bowl, sashimi, peanut curry and calamari. The creme brûlée was also really good for dessert. Service was slower compared to other locations but the staff was all very kind. It's a great way to try a lot of different types of Thai and Japanese dishes in a comforting location.

You can easily order on their website and pay online or at pickup. You can choose a pickup time but it calculated when they could make it by, and then they email you when it is ready for pickup. It was actually ready 15 mins before my pickup time! We ordered: 1. Sushi (12 pc) and Sashimi (12 pc) Combo A ($43.99). 2. Salmon Sushi (3 pc) ($6.99). They tend to use similar pieces for the sushi and sashimi. But there were 2 scallop sushi that didn't appear as sashimi. The Combo A was in a big round plastic container and everything was laid out nicely and some sushi where enhanced nicely. For example, the 3pc Salmon Sushi was plain as expected but the Salmon Sushi in the Combo A has sesame seeds and a thin slice of cherry tomato. Every piece was extremely fresh and the seafood were cut very thick. For 2 people, we were already full after about 18 pieces. I just had to force myself to eat the delicious remaining pieces ... it didn't take much convincing! They do sell other items like appetizers, classic Maki rolls, big Maki rolls, special Maki rolls, chef special sushi and sashimi, poke bowls, and party trays. Service was very courteous. When asked for more ginger, they gladly have 2 more little containers of ginger. The restaurant only has 1 table with 2 chairs. In the they'll will have more when they have more help in the kitchen. There is a big couch for people to sit if they need to wait for their order, like when they walk in to order. There was no free WiFi.  The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are no customer washrooms. There is free parking in the shopping mall parking lot. Review 2023-047
