This was an impulse stop based somewhat on the name, which I find entertaining. Ordered a large pepperoni. This is a very enjoyable pizza. Sweet sauce. Probably not enough pepperoni for me not to ask for more next time. But it was cooked well, it's thick and the crust is lovely. The man cooking that night - the owner? - was chatty, so that was fun. They specialize in hoagies, so know that going in. But for a place that specializes in hoagies, the pizza was great. I'd certainly come back here. Easy parking. read more

One of our favorite local places to go. They're open until 10pm, which is super convenient and they have online ordering so you can earn points. You actually earn double points when you order during the day, regardless of pickup time. My partner is the one who got me going here and he's been a regular for years. Pizza, subs, soup, sides... haven't had a bad thing. I also appreciate how friendly the staff is. I usually order online so I can pay ahead. It makes pickup a breeze. Phone ordering is easy with them too. Overall, I definitely recommend supporting local, non-chain restaurants. Hoagie Hounds is 100% on that list. read more

We got a large pepperoni pizza here last Wednesday and it was scrumptious. The crust was crispy on the bottom and the pepperoni was plentiful. Their wings are great as well. They are a good size and come with real hand cut celery and carrots. Will definitely be coming back to try a hoagie soon. read more

I decided to try this place after driving by for well over a year. So I ordered the special on Wednesday night, which is a large cheese and pepper for $17. I picked it up, brought it home, opened the box..... burnt to a crisp! A dry, crappy, disgusting pizza that I threw in in the trash. I guess you get what you pay for. Obviously go to Bob and John's la Hacienda or anywhere else to get better pizza. read more

This establishment is in the old DiMarcos pizza spot on Englewood and Kenmoee. I'm so glad something finally opened up back in there. I love the menu concept, as all the hoagies are named after a dog breed. The space is clean, and the staff was very friendly. They were very busy today(great sign), so the wait was longer than typically expected. But the owner came out and was very apologetic. With hoagie in the name, we had to try one. We went for the cane corso carnivore. The hoagie held up to the name, nice and big. You could have made 2 hoagies out of the filling. It was also very tasty. The steak was chopped nicely and seasoned well. Then we ordered a large pizza. By now, you know I love pizza. The pizza was truly large. The crust was exactly how I liked it. It was cooked very well. For my personal liking, it could have used more sauce. If you like me and enjoy a saucy pizza, I'd definitely order it next time with extra sauce. I'm not sure what sausage they use, but that sausage and crust was the best part of the pizza. It was not the best pizza I've ever had, but it was solid. I'll definitely order again, especially the hoagies. I see great potential. read more

My husband and I both got a 12 inch sub and www were going to split a small fry. Big mistake, We will be eating this for days! Luckily it so good! We both agree that they were the best steak subs a we have ever had nd I used to live outside of Philadelphia. The meat melted in my mouth and the veggies were fresh and crunchy. I was happy to see a new pizza place move into the old pizzeria that closed about 6 years ago. We just got our first order from Hoagie Hounds. I ordered through the Toast app and got a large cheese and pepperoni, and 20 wings. The pizza was a good size and well cooked. The crust was crispy but not burnt, and had a great buttery flavor. The sauce was on the sweeter side (which I enjoy). The pepperoni was the proper cup & char style. The cheese was plentiful, but not overloaded. And the overall taste was great, and well seasoned. The wings (we got BBQ and spicy BbQ) were good. Crispy but not dried out. They were well coated in sauce. I really enjoyed the spicy BBQ wings. And next time we will try the hot wings. It looks like they have some good options for subs too. And yes there will a next time. I'm so happy this place is good because it is just a few blocks away. Just had a 1/2 baked pizza, generous with the toppings & the service!!! Great price, Chris knows how to make a pie!!!. Was so moist, could eat with a fork and no knife right away when couldn't wait after drive home. , Local business right in neighborhood with weather and ready for the game!!!. Baked up slices at game time... perfect!!!! Will have for the weekend whenever I want. No burned up bottom or overdone ingredients here because they care and pay attention. After reading the reviews and looking for a good tasting Steak sub I decided to try them . Ordered the CaneCorso Carnivore for $19.50 and it was the WORSE SUB I've ever had. The roll was SOAKED and FALLING apart so bad that you had to use a fork to eat it . (maybe the lettuce was washed and put directly on bread, actually had a puddle of liquid) and there was NO FLAVOR to it. was like eating the paper it was wrapped in (that also was drenched and mixed into the sub) Have to say it was huge but HORRIBLE. Best Steak sub I ever had was from TC WHEELER in tonawanda and now I drive 15miles one way to get one . DONT waste your hard earned money on this place. Hoagie Hounds: Take the time & go on in!! Damn WONDERFUL Food, GREAT prices because its family owned, not corporate owned. They CARE about their products. Extensive menu with sandwiches named after breeds so loaded you can barely get your mouth around, Pizza is never burned on bottom like they were too busy. Extra ingredients are not skimped nor charred like at pizzerias with several locations. Topping it off with friendly workers who are never rude. If you stop at the light, turn on in. I got the Pad Ka Pow with pork and an order of the spring rolls. The service was so fast here and friendly. I got my food to go and it was still piping hot when I got home 15 minutes later. This is quite the meal with a large portion of rice in the main dish and five spring rolls. It was delicious from start to finish. Each dish came with an extra sauce to use or dip into. The spring rolls were crispy and full of flavor. The pad ka pow was a perfect balance of savory flavor with the right amount of spice. I should have asked to get shrimp with it this time, but that will happen when I go back next time. The parking at Chandler Street can be a little tough but I found a spot which was nice. The building is full of businesses so it is a nice place to be when you're hungry. Tiny Thai is one of my new favorite places to check out in the city and if you're ever over near the Westside, you should too!

For dessert there was a chocolate chip cookie that tasted like espresso and carmel with vanilla gelato. This was the only thing that was a bit too much. It was just too sweet even though the ingredients were top notch. There was also a four cheese pizze which was a rich blend of mozzarella, Gorgonzola, parmigiana reggiano and white sauce. Again it was an excellent pizze. Also the olive oil cake with lemon curd!!! This cake was definitely my favorite dessert. You can't go wrong with this choice for dessert. So for a truly yummy meal with excellent service and a charming setting, I again highly recommend Aroma on Bryant.

After ordering our drinks we were told our table was ready but that we had to pay our bar tab separately which was rather annoying. The food however was quite lovely. We ordered several special seasonal vegetable dishes: tomatoes with ricotta, beautiful beets, wild mushrooms. All very delicious. Because of all of the delicious vegetables I opted to order a pizza assuming I'd take most of it home which I did. My husband couldn't resist the short rib and let me devour more of the veg to save room for it. I'm pretty sure he still took some home and had it for breakfast the next morning. The drinks were very nice and artfully presented. Judging from how slammed the bar area was they must always do a great job with cocktails here. Will come again. Highly suggest you try any local seasonal vegetable dishes as they will be stunning fresh and delicious. The wood fired pizza was also very good and is a very reasonably priced option to share for dinner paired with a small dish. Another very good restaurant to keep in rotation.

My partner loved the bagel. We both enjoyed our afternoon coffee. The space is beautiful and cozy, it would be the perfect place to come and read or knock out some work. They have completely non-plastic to go cups which are unique looking and we loved the extra effort they put into sustainability. They have bags of their used coffee grounds for free if you need to add to your compost pile or whatever needs you might have. 10/10, will be back!
