Took my son the get a cheesesteak and to try their portobello sub. They were completely out of mushrooms. Disappointed but it happens. So we just ordered the cheesesteak, which took 25 minutes. Got home and the order was wrong. My son ate it anyway and said it was pretty good. Would maybe try a different location next time. read more

I was introduced to The Hoagie Stop by my school-age kids because the owner visited their school. My kids were so excited by the owner's story, I was excited by delicious food... I was not disappointed. I went to their Clinton Street location, and it's not beautiful. Doesn't matter. I was greeted prompt by a kind server who was eager to help. The food was made promptly, and was beyond delicious! The 8" sandwich could have been two meals, but I just couldn't stop biting!!! Seriously, so excited to go back very soon. read more

For one the owner or cook was dropping F.Bombs left and right when we were sitting at our table.Talking about killing somebody.. I told them I didn't want any sauce on my hoagie.After they chopped it to nothing, they actually chopped it for 10 minutes.I heard the clanking. It came out drenched in their cheap hoagie sauce, which was horrible cheap Italian dressing mixed with with French dressing.I took two bites and and asked for a to go box when I got home I threw it out. I can't tell you how many times I've passed by this place. Then, one day, I decided to stop. It's a nice clean place, and everyone was very helpful in helping me navigate through the menu. I ordered the 8-inch steak hoagie, and it was delicious and hot. It was so good that I signed up for Uber eats because they offer 2 for 1 deals. Wow food is so good. We went in to place order to go. Had to wait a bit BUT it was worth it. I only ate 1/2 my #2 clinton. I ordered a combo and it came with fresh cut fries...my favorite. So much food I could have shared it with someone. This location has a few tables and a TV so a nice place to eat. Employees are awesome and friendly. A great addition near my neighborhood. read more

By far the most flavorful steak hoagie I've ever had. Ordered and ate in. There are tables and big TV. Hoagie came out fast and piping hot. Fresh cut fries were amazing. I had concerns about how this would travel if I got takeout but everything would be perfectly fine. Sub was wrapped beautifully. Bummer they don't have a chicken finger sub considering they make stingers but that's a minor gripe. And I could've easily eaten a 12" vs 8" given the price. I shall be back! read more

When I called The Hoagie Stop, they told me I could come pick up the missing or write my name on the board for credit the next time I ordered... but no resolution for that day. They took my number and told me they would call back, never heard back. Won't order from here again. read more

One of the best steak hoagie places in Buffalo. I love the buy one get one hoagie for free on uber Eats. They Don't be stingy with the meat. My only issue is the wait. I ordered and paid online they gave me a pickup time for 5:45pm. I even got there around 6ish just to give them enough time my food wasn't ready ok that's cool cause it's a restaurant but what I did have a problem with is that a few ppl came in and ordered and they got their food before me. I didn't get my food until almost 6:40pm. Good food a little slow at times read more

The hoagies here are great! Tried the steak hoagie and loved it . Not greasy or dry . Filled will meat and very tasty. Fries were hot and fresh. Clean shop with a nice mural on the wall . Once you order, there is a back dining room with several different size tables, but all with Bills chairs, which is a neat trend we loved seeing in this area, despite being from Florida. The man who greeted us was kind helpful and I was impressed with the pizza options. We ordered: - Buffalo Chicken: had a really good flavor & was my favorite! - BBQ Chicken: my son loved it - Margerhita: also had a good flavor - Pickle: the best we've had by far - Beef Pattie: looks like a Jamaican one but isn't spicy and had a very strange almost veal or lamb taste. Overall the flavors of the pizzas were really very good, but unfortunately every slice was so overcooked and burnt that it quickly overtook the great flavor of each bite. Now, the thing is, everyone likes different kinds of pizza, and apparently Brooklyn style isn't necessarily our jam, but for something we really don't like (black crust), it was still very good and we would highly recommend it to people who like more cooked pizza.

My Dining companion ordered the Western breakfast sandwich on rye bread with hashbrowns, smothered in sautéed onions. It was a very generous portion, and ultimately he took about half of it home to enjoy later today. This was the first time I've ordered the BLT Club on rye bread, and it definitely will not be the last time. This club sandwich was gigantic, and came with a very generous plate. Crispy french fries. You know the kind they're about thick as a man's finger, pillowy, soft inside and crunchy on the outside. I truly enjoyed my cup of fresh coffee, I made it bulletproof with butter! Although the restaurant was very busy, waitresses were knocking it out of the ballpark with their speedy service I have a special place in my heart for Greek restaurants. They seem to bend over backwards to present warm and friendly atmosphere. It seems like no one's a stranger, and everyone's your friend!

The Hogie Stop is hands down one of the best places in town! Their fries are absolutely amazing -- perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. Every bite is full of flavor, making them the perfect side for any meal. On top of the great food, the workers are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They always greet you with a smile and make sure your order is just the way you like it. The service is fast, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
