This was my first visit to a DiBella's and I will most definitely become a regular. With it being my first visit I asked the server for some patience while I read over the menu boards and she was most pleasant. I wound up getting the mini pack with a five inch sub, a chocolate chip cookie and a Pepsi. While waiting for my order, I devoured the cookie and had to order two more. I was impressed with how quickly I got my meal and headed home. This food was delish and I'm questioning why I've never ventured in before. The bread was so fresh! read more

Was craving a good deli sandwich and came across this business driving by. Friendly service and cashier. I ordered the 10 inch Uncle Louie sandwich on everything seasoned bread. Sandwich was delicious. Priced with tax was $13.04 which I thought was a tad bit high. I will probably come back if in area again. read more

Ordered 2 subs. Chicken bacon ranch and cheese steak. Chicken sub was really loaded with meat and very tasty. Steak sub was very lacking in meat department but made up for it some in taste. It was close to closing time so maybe they ran out? Will try again. Did not deal with service due to takeout order, but it was ready on time. read more

Picked up sandwiches to go from her as it was highly recommended but we might need to come been to give it another try. The sandwich itself was OK. Bread was pretty thick and the meat / veggies / mayo was off - it felt really dry and one noted for texture. Staff was friendly and helpful. You order in the line, but there is plenty of seating in the restaurant. It's clean and quiet. read more

I order almost every sub from here and it is by far one of my favorite places. I have never had any issues with the service and there is always people inside enjoying their subs. I feel like even if there is a long line you don't have to wait to long and the food is always fresh and really good. I really love the potato salad. The atmosphere is very friendly and there is always avaliable seating and clean tables when I have gone there to eat inside. read more

Is it the best sub I've ever had? No. But was it very good and I would definitely have it again? Absolutely! I also admire the confidence to put that on the wrapping. Bold statement! On my quest to find the best subs in Buffalo, I ventured over to DiBella's for dinner the other night. We got a couple of different subs. One was a classic Italian assorted and the other was a cheesesteak. Had to try a hot and a cold to be fair. Both subs were great. They each had really good flavors, both were well made and didn't fall apart as you ate them. The cookies were also really good. They had that homemade taste you love when you get a sub shop cookie. Again, these were great but not the mind blowing sub I had heard from some die hard fans of DiBella's. I will definitely keep them on my list when I need a change up in my usual sub order. read more

Very disappointing. I went in with my family and the whole experience was poor. The cashier was unable to figure out how to put in our account to get points. We asked for a 32oz cup but we're given 20oz because they rang it in incorrectly. The cost difference between a 20oz and 32oz is neglible, just upgrade the drink. The whole restaurant was dirty. It was around 3pm and not very busy yet every table was dirty and not wiped down. So we finally sit down to eat and neither of our kids meals had cookies or applesauce and they made our subs incorrectly. Just overall a bad experience. read more

Ordered a 14" Uncle Louie from this location. Cost me $34 with DoorDash. Arrived with a single slice of each meat. First bite contained a hair. How difficult is it to make a sub? Do not recommend Cheektowaga location. They do not care. Extremely disappointed. read more

Yeah, they'll give you about 50cents worth of protein on a soggy roll with the bare minimum of toppings and cover it in whatever condiments you choose for a total of $17. No stars. read more

Restaurant used to be good. Now they raised prices and drastically reduced portions. Ordered a $20 sub and got a massive piece of bread with 1 slice of deli meat. They even skimp out on the veggies. Do not recommend wasting your time or money. read more

We ordered two subs, the godfather and a build your own (turkey, lettuce, mayo, banana peppers, provolone). A little blown away by the complete opposite of quality between the two. The godfather was huge! Full of meat and beautiful. It was delicious. The build your own was absolutely terrible. The bread was half the size and looked like a squishy soggy sandwich from Subway. It was missing half the menu items as well. I would absolutely give a chance again because it's been a staple in the area for ages, but that day definitely missed the mark. read more

Went to Di Bella's subs for the 1st time a great experience from being to end 1st you can see it is a great looking store clean a very nicely decorated place. Then we ordered the employee was very helpful because we never been there they had a nice menu of different subs me and my daughter went for a 17 inch turkey and ham sub her roll was plain mine had sesame seeds the usual of lettuce, tomatoes, onions I added pickles and black olives with mayo my daughter the same but added cucumber and oil instead of mayo. While they make our subs you move over to pay then wait. That's when I checked out the place very cute was impressed. Everything went smoothly all workers were nice polite and helpful then took it home home to a BIG sub that was so thick I couldn't open my mouth enough to bite the whole thing. Plenty of meat and I mean PLENTY of meat ,fresh veggies and a nice roll good tasting different than a regular pizzeria roll . The sub was so big you could feed 4 people with the 17 inch one good thing is im going to be eating it again tomorrow I liked my experience and the big meaty sub so much I can't wait to come back and try a roast beef or corned beef sub they had plenty to choose from read more

On a Saturday night during COVID-19, after a full day of prepping to paint paneling, I didn't want to cook, or throw something together. DiBella's is close. I saw earlier in the week that they had a 25% off coupon, if you ordered on their website. I decided to do that and ordered the Godfather. The ordering process was easy. I went to DiBella's after waiting 20 minutes for my order to be complete. There are signs all over the windows and doors saying do not come in, call their phone number and they will bring your order out to you. It is nice when a business puts there phone number on the signs, so you don't have to go online and look up their number. I called, and the woman brought my order out right away. It was a great process. When I opened my sub, it was a little too saucy. I did order oil and mayo, but it was soupy. I didn't like the sogginess of the situation. I immediately places the sub in a different container to curtail the sogginess. The sub was delicious. I had ordered it with grilled veggies and it was lovely. I took a star off for the sogginess of the sub and presentation of too much liquid. The sub and the process of ordering was great. read more

I had an amazing experience at DiBella's today! Norman went above and beyond to help me with my order and just to take the time to actually care about my experience. Speedy service. Great for pick up or a quick lunch. They have my favorite sub rolls - love the multigrain and everything. I heard that DiBellas makes the sub rolls for Wegmans, but I'm not sure how true this is. The kids meals are a good value - can choose any cold sub and toppings. They also have good cookies. Nothing like a classic chocolate chip. And lastly, DiBellas does great things for the community. We have seen them as sponsors for Hunter's Day of Hope & Prayer. read more

I gotta say I was better than I expected. It was filling and really tasty! I will definitely go back and try another one of their original subs. Their cookie's are fantastic as well! We had the pleasure of ordering from DiBella's subs. I ordered a BLT sub with no lettuce or tomatoes. We also did not recieve the chips or the cookies that we order either. I never had DiBellas before and I will never order from here ever again. This experience has destroyed my perception of this establishment. We ordered delivery through Grub Hub. So every one was paid but the customers get stuck with no service and a lack of due diligence. If you are looking for a shotty product and even worse customer service. You have your winner right here. Good luck surviving the business climate that the pandemic has left restaurants in. I will be ok if I never looked in your direction for food again DiBella's subs. I wanted to be a customer but it appears like you don't like your customers so I will spend elsewhere. read more

DiBella's is owned by Bella from Twilight, and that might be why the employees here express zero emotion whatsoever when serving you. I prefer the location on Transit road, because my subs here were... I'm not sure how to describe it. Same ingredients, same size, same price... but they didn't taste as good. In case you don't know, it's a chain from Rochester, but a local chain that never went national. They make excellent old-style sandwiches that sometimes taste like the best thing in the world, and sometimes leave me unfulfilled. I usually get the Godfather, although last time I came to this location I branched out and got 3 or 4 subs as part of the "2 for 1 radio special", and I have to say, I will stick to the Godfather in future. I feel the same way about 70's movies. read more

My husband and I love DiBella's subs. The bread is always fresh, and delicious, and so are the veggies and cold cuts. We've had the yummy Cheesesteak sub, and our daughter loves the Chicken Philly. Usually a great place to get subs! Might want to go inside to order though because.. I placed one of these online orders today. Two turkey subs(small and medium) not grilled or anything special. They messed up the order which I found out when I got home. I called them to have them remake the subs correctly. The manager was nasty and rude, saying "Well I made one of those myself". My response? "Well you made it wrong". An entire conversation about how this simple order was wrong. They made both subs with cucumber, peppers and then the one that was suppose to have honey mustard, did not have the honey mustard. Here is a picture of the order. This location has went downhill. The second time in a row that my online order was messed up! read more

There are a few things that you come to learn about if you live in Buffalo. Pizza, wings, subs and Bills mafia are all taken very seriously. With that being said, many people will head to Jim's steakhouse, and yet others still prefers Scottie's, when it comes to a sub. Now don't get me wrong, both places are unique to the city. But sometimes you just want that deli style sandwich. No fancy sauce, or over the top meat combinations, not to mention no crazy far out named subs. Just a plain Jane sandwich, that is what Dibella's is all about. If your not familiar with how the sandwiches taste here, imagine a Wegmans sub but better. Condiments, meat and especially the bread are all fresh and very good. Did I mention the bread is great? read more

DiBella's makes some really awesome subs, and the rolls they use are always great tasting and fresh. I typically get a Cowboy - BBQ, chicken, and cheddar, and have never had a bad one. The salads are also worth trying. The inside is super clean and unique feeling. It almost feels as if you're in a diner, but with better aesthetics. All the employees are polite, and the food is to you in no time. The parking lot is quite large, but it's shared with an Army recruiting center and a hair salon for men. The lot gets packed during the day, and trying to take a left out of the parking lot onto Union is nearly impossible. This isn't their fault, I just wanted to mention it for those of you who might be going there on a lunch break. read more

I ordered online for curbside pick up. As soon as I pulled up, the kid working knew my order as soon as I said my name and brought it right out. He was very nice and was wearing gloves and a mask to deliver curbside. My order was ready before I planned which was great we didn't have to wait. The food was delicious and I always compare it to wegmans (which has gone down hill) and I would choose DiBella's ALL day long! I signed up for the app and got some perks too ;) read more

I ordered a sub through door dash today & have ordered a few times before. I spoke to a guy on the phone and asked him if they could SIMPLY check my sub over to make sure it was made correctly, he said yes no problem i'll make sure it's made to order. I said ok thank you; because i've had problems in the past ordering through here; i said I'll give it one more shot. I get my sub and open it, no cheese, no tomato, no banana pepper or capicola. How TF this is even possible, i don't know. Never ordering from here again & im telling everyone i know how shit and lazy this place has become. Extremely embarrassing. read more

We got the Italian meatball sub and the uncle Louie. Should have listened to the reviews and skipped the meatball sub. The marinara on it is different, and I just wasn't a big fan. I went into DiBella's for a Steak Hoagy for dinner. I requested wheat and went home with multi-grain. I usually pay attention while staff is making my food but maybe I thought seeing Brown bread instead of light brown brown was supposed to be the give away to wrong order. (Strike 1) They were a little selfish with meat portions. (Strike 2) Drenched in too much sauce which made the it sorry. (Strike 3) I'm giving a 2 star only because I've gone in the past for years and my orders were great. The staff were not busy at all. I was the only in the store. They were nice, but I didn't recognize any regulars behind the counter. I also did this as a to go order. Bathrooms are usually clean but I didn't inspect it this time. read more

Service is inconsistent. You order your sandwich and it's a simple format on the ticket but apparently the guys working there are too stupid or distracted by chatting up the girls they work with. Plus, they're laughing right over my food spitting on it , totally gross . Sandwiches were made wrong and when your paying $35 fir two sandwiches correct ingredients less the spit is always a nice thing. I wouldn't refer this location based on the unprofessional unfocused employees. Will shop at Wegmans for subs usually perfect there. read more

My work team and I have been on a real sub kick lately, thanks to DiBella's. This place is a great sub spot. They offer large portion food for a decent price. They feature sandwich specials and all of their food is delicious. I eat here often and cater from them once or twice a year. The establishment is clean, the service is fast and all food is custom prepared right in front of you.
