This time I went in to get some lamb chops ($20 a lb) I wish the chops were bigger, but they were portioned out and ready to go for marinating and grilling. I couldn't help myself and got a cup of their Mac and cheese in their case. (was cheesy and creamy, just how I like it!) Grilled up the chops last night , good flavor but kind of fatty. The customer service is nice and prompt and they have a great selection of anything you may want (meat wise) plus the store is very clean which is a huge plus for me. I'll be back to get some more stuff to put on my grill once the temps rise.

We came in, ended up ordering takeout, as all seats were taken, and they do not take orders unless you have a seat. We chatted up and they gave me a lot of information on their menu, and the wine dinners that they host. The food..amazing! There are quite a few selections to choose from and there appears to be something for everyone and different family sizes. I got the Big Pick 7; you choose 7 items out of 24 menu items. Today I wanted the plain chicken fingers but they were out of stock so for a $5 upcharge, I got the seasoned ones. I browsed through the market while waiting and they have a good selection of necessities. I heard they have a second location at the Broadway Market that has a slightly different selection of meet and groceries. My package broke down was as follows: 10 lb bag of chicken thighs and legs (9 portions) 5 lb bag of chicken fingers 6 lbs of bone in chicken breast (4 breasts) 5lbs of whole chicken wings (13) 3 lbs of sirloin steak (cut into apx 8 steaks) 3 lbs of T-Bone (4 steaks) 3 lbs of haddock filets

I was also surprised to see Gondola ravioli there! As a teen, I worked at Latinas and after they closed, I would buy them at Tops. But I haven't seen them there in AGES and haven't found a replacement. I was so happy and had to buy some. Then I saw the delicious banana peppers (amongst other things) and bought both varieties of those and a few BBQ meatballs (all of these made in-house). I got home and threw the banana peppers in the oven immediately and warmed up the meatballs as a little appetizer while I waited (hey, I hadn't eaten all day and it was dinner time!). The meatballs were great ... they were mini and size but packed with flavor. Of the 2 banana pepper varieties I bought, me and my son both agreed the one with Italian sausage in it was our favorite! We absolutely cannot wait to have them again ... so much so that I had to call and make sure they are a regular option so I can grab them soon! The store itself is incredibly clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing. The cuts of meat are beautiful. There's plenty of raw meat options, cooked items, fresh and frozen, individual or bulk, some salads, deli meats and cheese, a few other things. Oh, there's tons of unique hamburgers too in which they mix their ground beef with various ingredients for different flavors. Prices are on par with anywhere else ... no worries about jacked up prices here at all! Very fair. Great customer service, appearance, and variety. No complaints at all. Went Friday morning and got oxtails asked for 2 lbs and was rung up for over $30 for 4 large…read moreoxtails when I was told 4 large pieces were a pound so why was I rung up for 2.2 lbs and only given 4 I didn't notice it until I got home ...they also had a cut chicken wing deal I believe 5 lbs for $9.99 I ask the clerk to evenly separate the wings into 2 bags .again when I arrived home and saw my wings ...they definitely lightened the pounds to more like 2 lbs .iam returning today with the meat and my recipe.very disappointed to see this unethical behavior ,especially towards me a senior citizen...

Prices on the meats seems low, but to me the amount you get in their meat packages isn't a lot. Maybe I am bias because I get all my beef from the slaughter house. Anyone who knows about slaughter houses, the prices can not be beat. I wouldn't suggest doing all your grocery shopping here, well unless you don't have transportation then I can see this being your one stop place. For me, the occasional visit is due to the smoked beef sausage I have a craving for.

Current price for their house made Italian sausage is $5.99 per pound, which is a steal for the quality of the product. I can usually be in and out within just a few minutes and the staff have always been polite and willing to answer questions or make suggestions. I remember coming here as a kid and I'm so glad to see their business continue to prosper after all these years.
