Big Gram
Patrick B.

Outstanding lunch spot. The food was so fresh and flavorful, I couldn't stop eating. Combined with the personal, friendly service from the staff, I will be coming back very soon. I highly recommend the Big Gram, the chicken cutlet was perfect.

Stopped back into Zios and I was so happy with my lunch. The subs are just so good. They are fresh and creative and just delicious. The staff is always so welcoming and it's always fun to sit in the window and watch Elmwood while you enjoy your food. This is a must try restaurant if you haven't gone yet. And get a side pasta salad and definitely a chocolate chip cookie!! You won't be sorry.

The Kev sub blew my balls off. FRESH toasted roll, perfectly shaved turkey and ham with THICK slices of cheese. And the subtle avocado spread + aioli set it off. Tomato basil soup was shockingly good too. Guys behind the counter were very kind. I simply cannot wait to come back for a hot sub.

If you're looking for a fantastic sandwich that's sure to satisfy your cravings, look no further than Zio's! I went with the make your own option. I had a regular roll with ham, roast beef, fresh lettuce, onion, and creamy mayo, this sub was an absolute delight to eat. The bread is perfectly toasted, giving it a nice crunch that complements the toppings perfectly. Every bite is packed with flavor, making this sandwich so good and making me wish I ordered two! My wife made her own turkey and raved about how she wishes more places would offer pesto as an option for subs and sandwiches. Go ahead and treat yourself to this delicious sandwich today - you won't be disappointed! I will definitely be back soon.

Ordered subs here for pickup. Food was quick. There is some seating inside. They also have side pasta dishes available. Street parking is available. The sandwiches were delicious and very fresh!

I heard so much hype about this new sun shop and was so excited to try it! I suggested it to my husband one day for his lunch, and he really enjoyed the sub he got. So I ordered it one day for lunch- being that sandwiches/subs are mr favorite lunchtime meal, I was really looking forward to trying it. Maybe bc I door dashed it, it was that great? But I was kinda let down by the lack of substance to the sub. I found there was more bread than goods. It was flavorful, but just not what all it was hyped up to be. Maybe ordering in is better? I might try it...

Proper buffalo style chicken cutlet sandwich. Had to try some classics while in Buffalo.

The service in this place was great. The sub was good, but I think that the bread company they deal with could do better. The ambiance was regular

10/10 - great variety, good quality ingredients, the rolls are made fresh from a local spot, service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is spotless and comfortable for dining in, but typically we order takeout. Perfect thing to bring to a Bills tailgate, or pack in a cooler for a summer boat day. Ben and Annie (Zio's husband and wife ownership duo) have done an incredible job with this place!

It has a pretty simple looking interior with a few tables. Get here at happy hour. The prices are pretty okay for portions. A pretty quiet place when we went earlier. It's interior is more like that of a cafe than a restaurant. They still have a pretty big menu though. Check out the menu up on the table for specials at happy hour. These include cocktails and appetizers so we got a few of these. It's about $12 for a cocktail. Of course now it was cheaper obviously. Best we had of these was the Bajajito. This is Baja Blast, coconut, lime, mint, and rum. It's about $14 for wings and there's several kinds, even plant based. We got the Vegetarian Polenta Wings. Comes with choice of a sauce and we got hot. These could have been crispier but thankfully weren't mushy. As for the rest of the menu, there's also deli items. Things like sandwiches. For sure it has pretty great specials we could get again. It's located on Allen at Franklin. There's burgers and wings including versions of these for vegans and vegetarians.

From 2020 on we used to get food, snacks, beer and other stuff here very regularly...like three times a day sometimes. We got dinner from here at least three times a week and we loved it. At some point a new owner took over and a lot things went downhill. We eventually had to stop going there all together because of all the mistakes and lack of accountability. We recently tried them again and was happy with the food. Well, that was short lived. The last three times we've placed an order online it hasn't even been started by the time they said it would be ready and we have to wait. In addition to that, it has been totally wrong with missing items each time. It happened again this morning, our order was missing two orders of hash browns. I called the listed number in an attempt to get a refund (because this is the third time and it's adding up) and it's off the hook, busy signal. This isn't new. The kitchen literally takes the phone receiver off the cradle so that they won't receive phone orders. My husband has witnessed it in person. Apparently they don't want to cook. Since the renovation the phone is digital, but they still turn it off. This has been happening since the new owner took over and he won't do anything about it. This is strange to me. Doesn't he want business? Anyways, sorry for the long review. We can't get food here anymore (again) because times are rough (again again) and I'm not going to buy from a shop that won't refund for wrongly prepared or even completely missing items. Bye Elmwood Market (AGAIN, out of chances)!

After a long drive to have brunch somewhere on Elmwood, just to find the doors locked, I ventured…read moreover here to have lunch and it did not disappoint! First off, I was greeted and found staff friendly and efficient! You have plenty of options for seating .. dining area, front bar, back bar, even an outdoor patio bar. Although it is dive bar-esque, it was nice and clean (let's be honest .. some dives have a stench and stickiness that can definitely ruin your appetite, no matter how much you may love them). They have a set up for bands to play, as one was playing while I was there for their 2 year anniversary (congrats!). What was nice is although I could hear the band (it was playing in the back and I was up front), it wasn't over whelming me. I have eaten places where, no matter where you sit, it's extremely loud, and I appreciated that you had a choice here. Now onto the food: The food should have been doomed to fail; my tastebuds were prepared to eat sweet, buttery, syrupy French toast with a mocktail at brunch elsewhere. But wasn't hyped about the menu because of this (which is not dog and pony's fault .. I had to work and didn't have time to research where else brunch was available). I settled on the umami smashburger by a suggestion of my waitress. Now once again, could have been doomed to fail as I'm not a French fry person and my favorite cheeseburger is one I make on my own. BUT WOW their food blew me away and made me forget all about my brunch let-down. The French fries were fantastic and had a great seasoning on them! The smashburger was great to the last bite .. and I was NOT expecting to finish it as it was a really nice portion (I ate lunch now 10 hours ago and didn't need to eat again it was so filling!) but it was so dang gone good I sure finished it! Smoked cheddar .. chimichuri aioli ... kimchi bacon jam .. oh ya that bacon jam was EVERYTHING!! Thank you to the staff at Dog and Pony for making my long drive worth while!

I ordered the smash burger, my husband ordered the turkey sandwich. After we were waiting for our food for over 25 minutes, the server came over and said that he was just informed they don't have the turkey because they had an issue with that freezer. Ok, so my husband ordered the cheese steak because he was super excited for the bahn mi roll. My smash burger was alright, but the bread they use for their burgers remind me of those cheap buns you get from TOPS that just fall apart. The worst part was that they forgot the dog sauce on my burger, so I asked for the sauce, and THEY CHARGED ME FOR ASKING FOR SAUCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE ON THE BURGER I ORDERED. My husband made sure to tell me after we already left because he knew I would have fought it and our already 1.5 hour long lunch date would have been longer waiting for the refund... He ordered the cheesesteak and the sandwich was so small, and the "bahn mi bun" wasn't even toasted which is a signature for bahn mi bread. He said the flavor was fine but nothing to rave about. The worst part, for me, were the French fries that came with both of our meals. They were soooo heavily peppered that they were inedible. We asked for ketchup to try to make them tolerable, and they gave us a pre-portioned small cup of ketchup... You serve french fries with most of your menu, why isn't there ketchup on the table?!? Overall, It was a nice place to have on senrca street which used to only have the blackthorn and franchescas, but I would not eat here again.
