Chris does a great job and she is friendly as heck but, I've been a little frustrated with her pricing several times. One time, I asked her to have a dress shirt ready for an event where I needed to wear it. This wasn't a rush it was like 5 days. She said no problem. Then when I got the bill, it was larger than normal and when I asked why she said, oh, i had to dry clean it to get it to you on time so it costs more. I was not happy with this. She never told me in advance that it was going to be more she just said no problem. Next, I picked up a few shirts and use my debit card. She said the amount and I never got my receipt. Then looking at my statement a few days later I noticed that the amount she actually charged was higher than what she stated. I asked her at the next visit and she said that all credit/debit charges come with a service charge. I was never informed of these charges and no where in the store did I ever see a sign posted stating these charges. Finally, that last time I went there and I picked up a few shirts and she gave me the total, it was higher than past transactions so I asked if she was sure that the amount was correct. She said, "oh prices have gone up." No, "sorry." No letting me know/informing me of the increased/changed prices. No signs communicating this in the store front. NOTHING. Unfortunately that was my last straw. In spite of the fact that she does a good job, her communication about pricing and charges has ticked me off and I don't feel that it is good customer service. For that reason, I wont be able to return as a customer. I cannot give my highest recommendation. read more

We took our oversized sleeping bags and a bedroll to Spot Cleaners. What a great experience. They were helpful and it took less than a week to get them back in time for a hunting trip. I recently moved to Reno & currently work two jobs. Working two jobs, I have a very tight schedule and needed a dry-cleaner that could work with my schedule. I usually have four pairs of slacks which I need cleaned every two weeks. First I tried Bobby Page's, however they would always take too long to finish my dry-cleaning with wait times of up to a week and a half! I was so thankful to find Chris at Spot Cleaners, as she always works with me to get my dry-cleaning done in a suitable timeframe for my needs. Even if she is busy, she always finds a way to get my order done in the timeframe I need. Being a salesman I have to look good! Chris does a wonderful job cleaning my clothes as well & my slacks always look pristine. An added benefit is that unlike most dry-cleaners, Chris avoids using harsh chemicals which is better for my clothes and the environment. I was looking for a dry cleaners close to my hotel and Yelp steered me in the right direction. I dropped of my dry cleaning on Monday night and was going to pick it up on Wednesday night. I came back on Wed night right before close to pick up my items. I was informed a button on one of my suit jackets fell off during the cleaning process. The owner apologized and said she would be happy to get the button sewn back on if I could pick up the items the following day. I wasn't in a rush, so that worked fine for me. Got my wedding dress cleaned and boxed here. It took about a month to get my dress back, but she did warn me that it will take a few weeks. I wasn't in a rush and they offered the best price ($140) out of the four locations I got price quotes from so I am a happy customer.
